My first time trying out the pick up at store option. I never realized it could be such a quick and seamless process. The customer service person at the counter was very efficient and helpful. Overall, a pleasant experience. Will do it often in future.
Good service and product availabilityDifficulty converting on-line order into curbside pickup status. Documentation claims this is possible through the Target app, but I certainly wasnt able to do it. Thankfully I reached a clerk at the customer service desk and he was able to help me with curbside pickup.Target needs to up its curbside pickup game to do its part to protect the covid-vulnerable in our society. Otherwise positive review overall, and kudos to the individual staff member who was able to help me.
Love shopping here for everything I need! Everything can be easily located. The clothes were a bit untidy, otherwise everything else is presented neatly.
We really like this store. Super nice stuff and very convenient
The store is nice and clean and has a lot of good staff, especially in the beauty section. I can not speak English so well and a lady came up to me and assisted me, her name was Rosie so thank you
Much more poorly stocked than the Sunnyvale Target. Many rows of shelves are just empty. Very few checkout counters open even during peak hours.
It feels good in Target store - staff is helpful, ambience is nice and we get most of what we need.
The best store in the face of earth. Amazing customer service!!!
I love target they have almost everything here, from food to toys and random things you never thought you needed! During the day sometimes it gets busy and there isn’t enough staff to mange all the lines but other than that this place is great.
This is honestly a pretty sad Target that has a pretty limited selection, but its so much better than the Walmart across the street where everything is locked up and no one ever comes to unlock them. There is no fresh grocery here, but what they do have is priced well, and the store is clean.
Understaffed and understocked. It makes sense for the area and economy, but I miss the Target experience when it wasn’t like this.
Better than Walmart across the street but the inside looks dull/lifeless and there’s not many stuff that I need. The staffs are very nice. There are a few rare gems in here, gotta look very closely.
Thep ie very clean on all parts of the store the help is there to help with your neefs and wishes. Very very helpful im happy i go there to shop
Although was very clean, I thing that needs to be restocked more often and have people around to help you finding the products you are looking for and have mote visible the check prices machines.
Worst Target I have ever been too. They only have 2 check out clerks with long lines of people waiting. The food section is always 3/4 empty. The clerks don’t care about their performance. I’ve went there 4 times since moving to area but will never go there again. The manager has no idea how to stock or run a store. I always go to Sunnyvale now and it is ran 1000 times better.
My go to shoutout Yuri from electronics for being nice always ⭐️⭐️💯
Im simply leaving an amazing review for cashier PAM. I only come Tuesdays because I know Ill see her cheerful face (mask and all)😊. Shes very helpful for making sure I get the best deals & what coupons to save. She is the only reason I give this place 5 stars. It definitely needs a remodel since it looks the same as 25 years ago... but when they do decide to do that, KEEP & HIRE extraordinary people like Pam! I look forward to my weekly stops (as a mom of two) for her kindness! Thank you Pam for working so hard! Happy customer!
They had product on the sales floor, I tried to buy, then told me they couldnt sale it to me because it had a release date 03/04....well that is not my fault, if its on the floor I should be able to buy it.The person who came over to tell me that, in his exact words...Some customers already bought some, but they shouldnt be on the floor. So what that tells me is that he did sell it to the other people, but refused to sell it to me. I will never go to that store again!!! The guy was very rude, when he was walking away, I told you should take the others off the floor. He said yeah... yeah.Rude as hell!!!
Shelves arent kept stocked, more limited groceries than other Targets, weird layout.
Mountain View Target has the best employees, especially Rosi.
I always have a good experience at target, from the moment I walk in to the moment I walk out. Product items are always organized and easy to see. When I check out cashiers are polite and frendly and willing to help with any of my needs.
Price, customer service and quality of products, always what I need, when I need it at a great price. Thank you Target for making my life better and easier.
Long line with at customer service and the one poor staff had no help.
Rosie provided excellent customer serviced. She helped me figure out a promotional offer, was patient, and informed me about the advantages of using the Target app. Very great experience and superb service. You are fortunate to have Rosie working for you!
Alex in electronics and Maria at guest services were fantastic at helping me find the product I wanted. They were friendly, attentive, patient, and prompt. This store seems to hire really great people.
Its easy to shop on your website and in the app. I also enjoy the fact that I have the choice to pick up an item from an alternative location (should it not be available). Its so easy!
Always long lines and no one at the checkout
Did a drive up through the target app, staff was already at the parking lot when I arrive, it was super convenient.
Clean store and great/helpful staff, also drive up pickup is a huge plus.
Love the service from Sophia, she helped me out during the check-out and matched the price for me. I appreciate it.
I was so, so happy to walk in to my local Target and see regular sized models in the advertising and mannequins. Seeing a sexy, full figured beautiful woman in a bikini, happy, healthy. It was a revelation for me. What took so long? It has taken me a lifetime to unravel body issues, and I am so glad my daughter will have an easier time not just accepting, but celebrating her beauty whatever form it takes. Our culture is finally embracing female beauty in all it’s gorgeous dimensionality. Also, hats off to Target staff. It’s not an easy job, tough to make it in the pricey Bay Area in retail, and God bless them I meet the nicest, most interesting people who work there. Sergei made my day the other day, hearing about how he has found happiness in his life, without a cell phone, two blocks away, a super simple life where he has lots of free time. He is a happy genius in a red vest stocking the shelves at Target. It is the smallest, and most run down in the area. But, Target is a happy place for me, I am so glad to have it close by and I think they are doing so many things right. Yay, Target!
Half my online order was not fulfilled. Dont bother ordering online because they have no idea what is in inventory. You wont know until you go to pickup whether you are really going to get what you ordered.
FAST & EASY, SHOPED ONLINE, NOTIFIED MY ORDER WAS READY & PICKED IT UP!
It was for the most part great. It would have had a higher score if I didnt have to enter the store.
Helpful sales person in the self checkout stand
Could not find a decent sweat shirt. Just mine my liking. Store was clean and slow on a Sunday evening. In town for a conference up the road so it was a easy stop. Quick in-and-out trip.
Clean, organized, and well-stocked store.
Sophia was very helpul and so was Gerry. Sophia is a gem she knows her position and does her fue diligence. Gerry he was very helpful on another item.
Not much waiting. Efficient and friendly staff.
Crowded but clean. Friendly staff.
This target is nice and clean but if you are shopping for clothes for a toddler boy dont come here. They literally have nothing. They have the girls clothes in the boys section because they have nothing.
Really unpleasant experience at checkout where the cashier tried to push me to sign up for the target red card especially aggressively today. Usually 3 “no thank you!” at most are enough to shake off this annoying promotion (which I understand they have to mention) but today I had to listen to probably five minutes of ranting on how I was committing such a big mistake, why I would possibly not sign up, why I don’t want to save money, bla bla bla, ruining the entire shopping experience that up until then was very pleasant.
Very quick and convenient, no line at store pick-up and excellent customer service!
Alex in the electronics/entertainment department. His service was outstanding and he was courteous and kind, going the second mile. Absolutely wonderful. He was able to help multiple customers and always keep in touch with us while we were trying to activate our phones.
The place is a perfect grocery store. It is near area. It contains all the products you need on a daily basis. The rates are sometimes a little to high, though.
Ordering was simple, lines were short, pleasant customer service. It made shopping easy. I then bought many other things that I needed!
Im writing this review from the chekout line that stretches across the store. I count more than 30 people and it is moving at about a person a minute. This is absurd, and not the first time theyve been understaffed. Why are you letting new people in the building? At least of the line was longer outside and shorter inside it would be possible to bhu frozen products
Store is clean and well organized. Employees are friendly and helpful. The pick up in store option is convenient, and its easy to make returns, even without a receipt, as long as you have the credit card you used for the purchase.
This Target has been at this location for a long time now, and it kind of shows. But once you get past the aesthetics this place is like any other Target, which is to say pretty good. The one positive of being the only major store in the parking lot is that theres always ample parking.
This Target is a blast back into 1980. Im pretty sure every other location has been renovated. That said, this store is fairly well organized and less cluttered than the two-story locations.
BECAUSE I GET A BREAK EVERY SO OFTEN AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE..ALSO I TRY TO HELP OUT AS WELL BY HANGING THINGS UP FROM THE FLOOR AND SO ON. I THINK THEY APPRECIATE IT AND THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME..
This location is clean and has a nice layout. Its not as large as the Sunnyvale location but has all the essentials. It is a bit in need of a remodel - and maybe a Starbucks like other Target locations.
Terrible place. Tried to ask 3 staffs there but they simple didnt answer me as if I was air. Very cold and indifferent! Way much worse than Target Sunnyvale.
This target exists only because there are just enough people who dont feel like driving to Redwood City or Sunnyvale. It works for what its worth, but Its definitely not the most new or most frequented. Its convenient, and the staff there is polite.I wish they would improve the lighting or something to make it seem brighter and more cheerful.
Close fast easy affordable
A small, older Target. All of the clothing sections are fairly small. The food section is almost non-existent - some basics but not a full grocery store. The Target in Sunnyvale is much nicer. Still, if they have what you want this Target is less run down and a lot less crowded than the Walmart across the street.
Nice atmosphere. Great customer service. Good selection. Good prices. Local.
Inventory online is not accurate at all. Beware, when they say they have something that’s a popular item, they probably do not. Frustrating to come over here for a few very specific things that say “in stock” and finding none are available.
I always shop here, we are from Stanford. But somehow, the security follows me around every time I go. They even set up right at the security gates, the last two times I checked out, and payed for everything. I spend between three, and five hundred every time I go here. But your Drew Carey looking security guard is painfully obtuse. I am going to film it next time I go, and sue the hell out of you people for harassment of a disabled person. Your cringe factory of a security guard, used the same excuse for having his entire security team hovering by the door. Oh yeah...we have to fix these gates sometimes(wink-wink). I think he was trying to impress a female employee. Have a look Target. If I get it on film, your going to find out what expensive settlements are all about. Your police station reject is going to land you with a law suit. Thats a promise. Your genius tier staff is following a paying customer. Over and over, again. Lol. You morons, are hilarious. It has legitimately been, over a dozen times. Clean up your ridiculous staff. Cant seem to find any people, that arent socially retarded.
IN THE TARGET ADD THIS WEEK YOU GUYS PUT ALL HALLOWEEN MOVIES ARE 30% PER OFF I WEN,T TWO BUY GOOSEBUMPS TWO AT THE MOUNTAIN VIEW TARGET TODAY. ONE OF TARGET WORKS IN MOUNTAIN VIEW STORE SAD GOOSEBUMPS 2 IS NOT 30% OFF IF YOUR ADD SAD ALL HALLOWEEN MOVIES ARE 30 % OFF YOU GUYS NEED TWO HONER THIS DEAL ON GOOSEBUMPS 2.
Worst ever! Should be negative stars. Shelves are always empty even before COVID. People that live across the street shop at Sunnyvale. Where is the district manager? Went there for a bike and walked out! Empty! Had no idea when someone would be back to assemble the bikes. Complete mismanagement
Your regular Target - except I really like their clothing line! The changing rooms were pretty empty and roomier than most. The jewelry collection is pretty nice for everyday wear. I would definitely visit this place again in a couple of months for more shopping!
It is exactly what you expect from this type of (non-super-sized) Target. They recently updated their grocery section (no produce or meats).Targets online and app experience can be improved, but this physical store is fine. The higher prices here compared to their blue/white competitor across the street is compensated by the better shopping experience.
It doesnt have the Starbucks Im used to seeing, instead a pizza hut. It doesnt have nearly the selection that Walmart has, and fewer still than the target in Sunnyvale. On the other hand it looks nicer than Walmart, somewhat easier to navigate. Its almost like an Express target.
Not the best target around. Sunnyvales and Cupertinos are much better. The Mountain View target has a weird layout (the home cleaning products are almost in an annex-like side)It also has very few food options. Youre better off going to Safeway or trader Joes nearby for that. That said its handy for home/kitchen/bathroom/deco supplies and items.
Target is alway good for things you forgot on a trip. So theres that. It is large, and as far as its condition, it is dated. Many still are. But its organized and clean. And the staff is SUPER friendly! Justed an all-around nice experience. Thanks, this review is for you!
It is a lot bigger on the inside than I expected. Theres a CVS pharmacy and a pizza hut express inside the building. This location is relatively busy, so keep that in mind if youre trying to get through checkout quickly.
Very big so be careful to know where youre going to not have to run around a lot. Office stuff and cosmetics and personal care is to the left of the entrance pretty much everything else is to the right.
The convenience. Everything was super smooth!
The delivery was extremely fast
Very few items available compared to the Sunnyvale store. Ill drive further to a better selection than Mountain View. This store looks like it is closing. Very run down on the outside. Staff is very nice but Target needs to amp up this store especially with all the new money moving in.
Its basically a Target. Nothing special or unusual here. The store was pretty well organized and the merchandise was appropriately placed. Shoes are garbage, but the womans clothing is cute and comfortable.
Ive been here a few times and every time has been a bad experience. The photo printer bends the prints (not the normal curve youd expect, it curls them that way and then bends the top 90 degrees in the opposite direction), the grocery is always not well stocked, and the staff are rude and not friendly. Not to mention the low ceilings, dim lighting, and overall awkward layout to the store, I would avoid this place and go to the one on W. McKinley.
Pretty small Target. They often dont have what you might be looking for, the selection just isnt as full as other Targets. Also, the least technical Target cashiers Ive ever seen, which is surprising in Silicon Valley. Often refuse to take a digital app conversion of my Red card.
Large Target outlet with a great selection, the cashier were super friendly! Theres a small Pizza Hut outlet in the store, but with limited menu options... Plenty of parking, so this is a great place for one-stop shopping!
Awesome website and online shopping experience. I order the Mario Tennis and picked up in 1 hour. Super fast ever.
Selection at this store is ok, what I like about this location is that the clearance sections are so much better than my area. I appreciate that it is always clean but the bathrooms are pretty gross. The few times I have been here the staff has always been very friendly and helpful!
As Targets go, this one is just ok. The one in Sunnyvale is more pleasant to visit.
The customer service is amazing and the option to pick up till 11pm is really good, Walmart sucks at it.
Good selection compared to other area stores, great customer service (overheard an employee named Serena doing a really good job and staying professional even while an older customer was being rude), clean. Great store.
I like the professionalism of the employees at Target like Maria who helped me
One of the products I had ordered was out of stock and no one had called me to inform me of this. do to that I had made a long trip to this store only to be told I could not get all the items I had ordered which caused me no ended of trouble for the whole day
Overall the staff in this store are helpful and friendly, but the cashier I met today (her name is Maria) is very rude and impatient. She did not allow me to use my target gift card with formula coupons without reasonable explanation.
Its a target store like any other. The fast food there really sucks...like theater quality. The lines are short, the employees are friendly but dont ask them anything about their products or complicated questions.
I was so shocked to this this store be so dated. The store itself isnt very big and definitely needs to be updated. The selection is moot at best and the layout is confusing. Its hard to maneuver around the store. On the plus. The staff was friendly and was able to help check us out quickly before they closed that register.
I was there shortly after they opened at 8 a.m. The store was very clean with all merchandise on the shelves. Great time to go to the store. Great time to go shopping m
Today one of the items I purchased did not make it into my bag. I called the store multiple times, but no one picked up the phone. I let it ring until I was disconnected. Disappointed in the service, both at the checkout line and at the other end of the phone. Later, I was able to contact Target via their website. Turns out the phone system was down at the store. I was refunded the cost of the item at the stores service desk. Its the holidays and new staff is hired to fill in. The store manager said theyll increase training for cashiers.
Awsome product with great conition
Who does not LOVE Target?!?!?! Merchandise is amazing and often unique at Target. This specific location is very clean, even the huge bathrooms and the customer service is great!
Can be a little tough finding stuff sometimes, but the staffers here go out of their way to be kind and helpful. And their Customer Service folks are outstanding! Patient, easy-going, friendly. Way, way, way less stressful and more pleasant than Wal-mart across the street.
The best place in Mountain View to purchase a snow shovel!
