Man, these guys are great. I had a system installed at another place in Santa Clara and when my gf heard the system, she was disappointed it didnt sound like my car. So i went back and asked them why it didnt sound like my car even though I had exactly the same set up, they gave me some run around story different cars sound different. They tuned the amp and sent me on my way. I didnt want to believe theyre wasnt anything that could be done so i went to these guys here and they quickly analyzed with a better and mentioned that had tapped into the rear speaker to connect the sub and that was wrong. The front speakers have more output so they just disconnected the old connection, installed the sub leads to the front speaker wiring and boom!!! Hella bass!!! Now it sounds like my car and my gf is FINALLY happy!! These guys are awesome. Im definitely going back and would definitely recommend to anyone. These guys know what theyre doing.

New post Nov 19 2020. This is my latest update...5 out of 5 holds on my second vehicle install. I purchased online special large display android system for my 4x4. They installed it perfectly. Including the cameras front and rear. I am very happy with the quality of work. Nice attention to not scratching my dash and the running of wires worked out well.2 year old post. This is a small shop with a couple of talented car audio entrepreneurs. I bought a sony 2xDIN, backup cam, new antenna. They fixed the install appearance and antenna problems I had from a redwood city store years ago. I like that they handle the warranty for the items you buy from them. Many make you go to the manufacturer yourself once the sale is over. Not a store with a hundreds of items bought in bulk, stocked and push on you. Instead its more like a shop that only carries the small variety of items with todays most desired features. Items that work well enough they choose to support. They have fees for installing things you buy online. But going there to see the features will most likely provide you more confidence to purchase something from them.Almost forgot to mention they installed a little device so my original steering wheel radio controls function with the system.

Well Again this team comes together and gives me the best after sale service you can ever hope for . They install it and stand behind the work even a yr later this little hole in the wall contains more information and backup stock possible it seems .. Great company! I got a stereo blue tooth set up with cell phone hands free in 2016. Microphone went bad after 4 years of use, I called in and they immediately saw me (same day) to resolve problem and ONLY charged me for $20 part. Amazing service, highly recommend!

Professional, excellent customer service, and clean work.I took my car in for tint and a new headunit early February. The rear window tint had issues adhering, but the crew stayed late and worked well past closing hours to fix it. The tint finally stuck after a few more tries. I could not be more happier with the end product; it came out perfect. No bubbles all around!Will return!

I had a fantastic experience with Kyle Smith, the co-owner. I brought my car and the new stereo I wanted installed. He explained that Id need a new amplifier to accompany the stereo. Once he was done explaining what Id need installed, he provided an estimate that was extremely accurate. By closing time, the new stereo, amplifier, and pockets were installed. I could not be happier with the work done by Kyle and his team. I highly recommend this business.

2 cars and 1 van and soon our new RV, half a dozen jobs of varying complexity and I have always come away happy with the finished product. When there have been (very minor) issues or things just not right, they made 100% right after a quick and easy email and a drop back. Of course I should tell you at this time that they always did what I asked but apparently when I got home I realized what I asked for wasnt exactly what I wanted so I asked them to fix it - which they did without anything other than a smile and professionalism. I have been back and I will be back.

Great Car Stereo shop! Awesome customer service, I got my Prius touch screen fixed and was seamless. He also fixed my headlights for no extra cost! Would go again for any stereo needs in the future.

Got my safety add-ons fixed. Kyle took good care of the cars and did a pretty good job. Walked me through the process, kept me informed through the work and was quite responsive when I had to take the car back for fixing up the loose blindspot button... Id happily give five stars... The one star was for the affordability! But overall, Id give 👍👍👍

Ive been meaning to post this review for a couple of months. All my compliments to Kyle for having the best customer service. I brought in my own stereo for installation, but the antenna was always live and drove me crazy. So when my replacement stereo came in, Kyle took the time to remove the old one, and put in the new one for me at no cost. Even though I was happy to pay him (it was my mistake, not his), he said he just wanted to make sure I was happy and loved my new stereo. Which I did--thanks to Kyle!

This place is awesome. Super knowledgeable. Very honest.I came in because my DVD system wasnt working. I thought I was looking at a few hundred dollars to repair it. The guy gave it one look and found a solution for only 30 bucks. I was thrilled. Not only that, The guy help me reinstall the DVD console which I had removed on my own. No charge.Great service. I recommend it.

They know their products and how to configure for your car very well. The installation was flawless. I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Went to get a new stereo on Friday at 5. They said it should be done by 7, which was reasonable. They finished in less than an hour and called me right away. I really recommend the service . And very organized and clean store.

Need HAM radio gear installed in your car. Afraid to cut that hole or run the coax? Need to add ground straps and do not have a lift to work under your car? The guys at The Car Stereo Company can do that work for you. Its not cheap, no work like this is unless you do it your self. It involves a lot of manual labor (especially ground straps).Sorry if this seems like an ad ... it is not intended to, but they did all the above work on my F-150 install and I am very happy with their work. Price was reasonable considering about 12 hours of labor for the straps alone. (and I know it took them most of the charged time as I had done on the topside work and each strap takes 15 minutes to install)

Absolutely horrible experience.First of all guy ask a lot of money and pretend to be so busy, scheduling an appointment as in the doctor office.He managed to screw up a simple job - installing mirror with GPS. Device was not working and he blame manufacturer for a bad quality, but then glued portion of installation felt apart next day.He promised free re-instalation, but then it comes to that point asked for more money.So I went to the company next door Custom Audio and get same day, high quality installation for almost half of the price.

Bought a head unit online and had it installed here. There were compatibility issues between the head unit and my car, but these guys took the extra effort to investigate and resolve the issue. Very satisfied.

These guys are the real deal! Very professional and great service. They did my window tinting, radar clean installation, and also my friends radar install.

Went there because my speaker system had stopped working. Toyota Dealership quoted me around $400 to replace speakers. Technician took a look, got some electrical tape and put it around some of the wiring near rear speakers, and everything worked.He explained, and fixed, the problem in 2 minutes -- less than the time it took me to reach someone on the phone at Toyota. And didnt charge me anything for it.I will come here with any future speaker needs.

I wouldnt recomend this shop i paid $300 maybe $350 to get my whole car rewired when i had taken it to them from someone previously rewiring wrongly they pretty much left some of the original cables that burned out even though they had told me theyd replace everything and low and behold a year later my stereo stops working no sound whatssover cable that connects to the battery terminal burned because it was too thin im guessing they figured it was ok to leave at the time?who knows anyways only after a year it stopped working and so i think maybe its the speakers i replace the speakers and guess what it only works on oneside turns out the wiring was done all funky and its not working well so yeah thanks now i have to pay someone else to fix what they shouldve done properly in the first place it sucks but now i know i shouldve gone with my gut and not gone here thats my .02 cents maybe youll be lucky and get a good job done maybe you wont who knows

They installed my radio very quickly and were very honest about everything. They didnt try to upsell me and were very friendly. Couldnt recommend more.

I had my 2000 Honda Accord stereo replaced with an entry level Sony stereo in April of 2016. The install was handled by the car stereo company. the radio kept resetting itself so I took it in again to be replaced in June. They replaced it with the same stereo, it worked for a month, and then the same resetting thing kept happening.In August the car with a totally new battery just wouldnt start so I began to wonder if there was something up with the wiring of the stereo so I brought it in again and they upgraded the stereo. There were minor issues like the station changing when I was backing out of my parking spot and turning the wheel to the left but I ignored it because at least it worked without resetting.Today when my super awesome mechanic replaced the fuel relay the stereo just wouldnt turn back on because of janky wiring.At this point Im just meh about my entire experience - I feel like because it was only the stereo being replaced and I wasnt dropping a million dollars I was not a priority for them to make sure the job was done well.

The guy installed some tail lights for me took him a long time and I had to payfor the time it took him to figure things out because he wouldnt watch a video that would help him do things quicker!

Awesome customer service! My mustang door rattled on some frequencies, even though I put dynamat on it before I came to the store. They explained to me about common issues with imperfect sound deadening applications, quickly opened my door panel, fastened the wires and clips inside, put more dynamat and rolled my dynamat to eliminate airbubbles, free of charge! They also explained every question I asked about the audio equipment patiently in fine details, how and why, what should I do. I am amazed! I definitely recommend this place! I already scheduled my next appointment to put a DSP in my car to fine tune my system!Update:However in terms of high-end audio, they still need improvements! Especially about audio tuning.Even they put a DSP in my car, they know little about the DSP and tuning, sadly. It sounded totally awful after the installation. I went to other car audio shops and in all the back and forth I learned how to tune myself. I was always wondering why do I have to reverse the phase for every speaker in the right door in order to get polarity right. Now after four months, when I sum the front left and front right channel together to create a center channel, the vocals which should be in the center of sound stage are lost. The input wire from head unit to DSP for front right input was connected reversed! What a painful lesson to learn! Please pay extra attention to wiring polarity correctly!More Update:Kyle and Hai went far and beyond for me! People make mistakes. They admitted and learned from their mistakes. The Car Stereo Company offers by far the most superior customer service I have ever seen in the area. They are also constantly improving their technology and capability. I did several projects with them after my Mustang and they all turned out to be perfect job. I am a customer for life now.

I started driving for Uber and wanted to get an auxiliary port for my 2007 Hyundai Azera so I would be able to offer my riders the opportunity to plug into Spotify on the Uber app or to just plug their MP3 player, smart phone, or iPod into my phone linked up to my car stereo system. I waited for my car and they performed the installation very quickly. After about a week, however, I noticed some static in my speakers. I took my car back in and they put an entirely new connecting cord and the static has been history ever since. The expertise and service provided by The Car Stereo Comnpany is outstanding! I highly recommend this company.

Very Pricey, got a new stereo installed, ended up almost paying $500 for my budget stereo, he took about 3 hours, and all he did was just take out the old head stereo plug in wires stick it back in, ..they charge crazy for Labor and when your inside their store they just sit there at the desk..thy barely say a thing, went to pacific stereos after a couple months and I got new speakers PLUS new stereo with bluetooth/Pandora all that stuff under $500 ..this place was horrible for me
