My boyfriend and I are kinda addicted to this store. Since holiday season is coming up, weve been here multiple times in the last couple weeks to find cute decorations and other fun stuff. They have great sales and a really great variety of everything for arts & crafts.

Michaels is a bit more expensive than other stores or online, but pretty much everything youll need for whatever project youre working on is right there and purchasable immediately versus having to wait for everything to arrive. -1 star for price. +4 for convenience. Thanks Michaels!

Out of stock on the two things I went to shop for: ivory satin ribbon and rigid gift boxes. Settled for a larger reel of ribbon (way more than necessary) and ended up at the Container Store for the boxes.

Good place for crafters with caring staff. I framed one of my paintings there. The salesperson followed my instructions very carefully.

Great place to take your kids to for crafts. Decent pricing, can order online, often a coupon is available online also.

We found most of what we needed when it comes to sewing needs. Quick shopping and paying. Price can be a bit higher compared to Target and Walmart but I think variety and quality of products are better. Staff are helpful and courteous. There is also a big parking space at the back of the store.

Lots of discounts on holidays! especially after holidays! Long at at check outs but fast service. There is extra parking lot in the back but I wish the parking lot is bigger.

Great store and friendly staff! The location is convenient and everything was easy to find. All the employees followed safety precautions for covid. Normal prices are high, but with the stores frequent coupons, they arent too bad.

Never know what youll find and it often is not exactly what you want. I will keep trying as there are no longer any real hobby stores left in the area

This is a great craft store. They are very organized, and they have nice materials that can be used for almost any occasion or decorating.

The parking lot is tricky, but the selection inside is great! Were lucky to have a good craft store nearby.

Ive taken at least 5 pieces of art to them for framing and they have consistently exceeded my expectations. And the prices are very reasonable. Very friendly and knowledge people.

This michaels seems a little more organized and less rummaged through than others. The staff is helpful and it just feels tidier. After going to another michaels earlier in the week and being a little underwhelmed with their inventory I remembered that I like this location. I prefer smaller out of the way locations so it might just be a location thing.

I work in mixed media, ink acrylic and mediums which change density and viscosity (like flow, water, soap, silicon, and whatever else sounds worth experimenting with). Michaels consistently has multiple brands of ink (at least 4), and at least 4 brands of paint.I am always looking for smaller stores more specialized, and therefore with a broader selection of the mediums I use. This barely meets my criteria.The staff are lovely, by the way! Very helpful and warm. 💜

Like any other Michaels- theyve got tons of stuff except the things you actually want. Clays paints and most art supplies are consistently out of stock in most colors.

This review is for the amazing birthday party I just hosted at Michaels. My daughter is turning 4, and wanted a craft party. We had a unicorn themed party with 3 unicorn crafts. Each craft was guided by 2 instructors and the projects were creative, age-appropriate and engaging. We added the face-painting option which the kids loved. It was a perfect party for a perfect price and will definitely do it again.

This Michaels is one of my favorites!! The staff is friendly and always able to help. They have a great clearance section almost always! The lines are never long, the store is clean and they have great sales. I dont think Ive ever walked out empty handed!!!

Topical Michaels. Specious with good selection.

Typically my favorite place to shop for all my craft needs, but definitely very poor customer service today. Cashiers very disorganized, at one point all 3 cashiers were assisting one customer while the line of waiting customers continued to grow. It took over 20 minutes to get out with one roll of ribbon. My cashier was interrupted twice to discuss the price check they were still working on. I was just waiting for my change during the last interruption. I just wanted to leave. May not visit this Michaels in Mountainview again.

Perfect for all your crafting/art/project needs. Great variety, lots of kid friendly materials. Also, they gave me a 50% off coupon on a single item for the next time I came back, so dont get everything you want on your first trip to save more on your next visit.

Occasional shopper here to get shadow box frames for going away party gifts. Always a good selection with good prices. There are always interesting finds here as you walk to the frame section and then to then to the checkout line. Weird location for the store and it is easy to miss. Front parking lot has very limited parking but there are lots of spots around the back.

Here for some cheap frames for the kids posters and they have a very good selection. Fourth of July sale was excellent

They have a very broad selection of crafty bits and pieces. Theyre also one of those stores that marks things up with the expectation that you are going to use coupons off their site. If you do then the prices seem good (we got 40% off today using an online coupon). If you dont use the coupons then I guess you are over-paying. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer things being simply and fairly priced from the start without all the fuss of coupons.

Michaels is my daughters go to store when she is the mood for crafts. I am not big on crafts but all I can say is we always find whatever item we have been looking for, staff is helpful and it is never too crowded. I like the fact you can park and access store from front and back.

I wasnt expecting much when I went into the store as I just needed a simple frame. The framing manager, Rachel, was beyond helpful and helped me find a better frame for my painting and within my budget. She was beyond polite and helpful and made my experience so much better.

Good place for arts/craft hobby items. This is the only place my wife likes to get the silk flowers from as they have a lot of choices. They also give discount coupons via email often.

I love this store! Anything you need for crafts, they probably have. I like to by the birdhouses and wooden boxes to paint and theyre relatively cheap so thats even better.

I love Michaels!! It has tons of craft supplies and rows and rows of stickers. It also has assorted decorations depending on the coming holidays. You can pretty much find anything for diys here. They also sell toys for kids and fun diy kits. The staff are always really kind and thoughtful. It is really easy to find coupons, because all you really have to do is go online and search their website. They usually have some sort of sale. Out of all the craft stores --which actually isnt that many-- Michaels is definitely my favorite.

Lots of selection for the artist in all of us. The offers and sale do sometimes make it appear that I left something on the table and didnt grab the best price but still a fun store to browse and buy knick kancks

It is a quaint store with only one driveway in off Charleston Rd that you either have to turn in front of traffic to get into, or turn left at the light and head around in a wide circle to approach correctly going south. Parking is in the back and can be difficult to get to, just be aware of people walking. Bought some Halloween supplies that were excellent for our setup.

I just LOVE this place, everything you need to start a hobby or sparkle a new one... the inspiring ideas for a crafty mind are just endless..I can easily spend few hours here every time I visit.

I could spend a thousand bucks in less than an hour in this place. Fun, fun, fun.Great location in that it is centrally located and across the street from Bed, Bath and Beyond and close to Costco. So, you can get all your errands and or items for a project without having to drive all around soul crushing Silicon Valley traffic.

Awesome Christmas decor selection

A clean, and well maintained Michaels store, and reasonably laid out. It would be nice if they had a larger selection of hanging display cases, and a nice, detailed map to quickly find things. In the end, we found all of the miscellaneous parts we needed, and the cashier was especially friendly.

Michaels is a great craft store. They have good sales. I almost never buy items at Michaels unless they are on sale. They often have 20% and 30% off coupons in their flyer published in newspapers or handed out the week before the sale in the store. You can also get coupons in their emails.

Recently became to have custom framing done. The staff was so friendly, thoughtful, and patient ...spending all the time it took to get the project just right.

Good location, staff keep the store near and tidy. The parking situation is annoying, there are a few spots in the front and loads in the back, but you have to go through the front lot before you can get to the back so theres a bit of a wait as most people try to get spots in the front.

Great selection of products at great prices. They always have coupons, so check their website. The only reason I didnt give a 5 star rating is because the staff isnt so knowledge.

Crafts store unlike any other in the area. Joan Fabrics is nearby but they focus solely on crafts. Micheals has lots of kids stuff as well.

Wonderful place to shop for the crafter or artist in you! Baking supplies, jewelry making, knitting supplies, fake flower and plant supplies, artist supplies and tools, picture frames, baskets, tool & craft cases, paper and stamp art, + more. This is a really GREAT place to get your creative juices rolling and your art-craft groove on! They offer classes, too ... and a party room.

Ive gotten craft supplies here on multiple occasions but was most impressed by their custom framing. I would recommend taking a spin through here for art supplies anytime. They also have a never ending bargain section that has deep discounts on their off season stuff. Ive always been able to get what I was after here.

I really enjoy going there as i can expect friendly and helpful customer service. Great prices. Look around for the clearance items you will certainly find a great deal. Store is always picked up and clean. Cant wait to go back.!!

I love coming here to browse. My latest discovery that makes me love this place is that they offer affordable art classes throughout the week, and they have kids art classes, too!

Michaels is one of the better arts+crafts stores in the bay area with decent (but not great) prices and a wide selection. Of note, there are arts classes (painting, cake decorating, etc.) offered that are not that widely publicized with excellent teachers. If you are interested in the classes, keep your eye out for the 50% off sign-up sale!

They have ample parking at the rear but getting on the road is sometimes tricky during busy hours as it is by the signal.As far as the store is concerned, always a hit!

A well-stocked general crafting store for people who need basic supplies for a few crafts like scrapbooking, beginning knitting, etc. Very heavy on the home decor and coloring books and what I consider filler but otherwise acceptable for in-a-pinch needs. Parking is sort of nightmarish coming off of Charleston (the only entrance) during rush hour, so mind your timing if you can. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly; average tenure seems to be eight years or more!

Small parking lot but an amazing selection! This place is surprisingly huge from the small entrance area. They have great sales all the time and the staff is nice. Make sure to look online for coupons - theres always something good.
