I submitted for a refill online after hours last night. Earliest the system would allow me to ask for it to be ready was 11am this morning. Its now 11:15am, theyve been open 2+ hours and cant refill ONE prescription. This happens all the time. Worst pharmacy service in town.
They didnt even bother to call & tell me my childrens prescriptions werent in stock. Thats after 3 hours of waiting so we called them. Thanks for wasting our time trying to help these sick kids!
I had photos made at the photo center and it was a complicated order. Kendra, the friendly pink-haired staff from the North, was super helpful and very professional! She stayed constantly engaged with customers even when there was a lot going on. Great job!
They massively overcharged me for a prescription, absolutely disgusting. Literally more than double what I was paying at CVS.
I drive an hour to the Batesville location to avoid Mountain Home Walgreens. I was always on hold forever attempting to fill a prescription I have to transfer when I am in town. Once they told me that it couldnt be refilled for a few days. When I went to check the status, they never filled it. This is most incompetent Walgreens I have ever dealt. While I have to go out of my way to Batesville, they are a pleasure to deal with.
I moved here Memorial Day and have been utilizing the services of this Walgreens since. The staff has been professional and efficient towards me with almost every transaction. The Pharmacists have answered my questions readily and the technicians have filled my prescriptions and been friendly. Ive noted the diligence towards sanitation and disease prevention practiced by the staff. The location is busy and I understand the pressure they are experiencing on a daily basis.
Recently had NO supply of very popular Rx.! Frequently ordered every month. What are they doing? Frequently long line in window pick up area. Calling them is extremely long wait! I am disabled and need better service than Walgreens Mountain Home Arkansas can give me.I am now using Heartland pharmacy in Mountain Home Arkansas.... This pharmacy delivers for free, also will come to my auto if needed ♥️
CONSTANT FAILURE! Staff seem incapable of providing quality customer service. Garrett, the pharmacist, seems to me to be the root of all their problems, theres a trickle down from him in the pharmacy. Recommend using another pharmacy if you can and save yourself the headaches. If you count poor impression as an impression, then they are very impressive.
WORST PHARMACY IN TOWN! Every month, nothing but excuses, “short staffed”, “out, on order”. Every single month they’re out of insulin and Dexcom products that I need and they have to order. Every. Single. Month! It gets old. Recommend using others if you can, unfortunately thanks to Medicare’s brilliance, not many can fill under Part B, used to Harp’s could fill under Part D, was so much happier there. This store is always busy, another reason to go elsewhere, they SHOULD hire more staff.
I see a lot of bad reviews on here, not sure what’s going on but I wanted to share my experience. A few months ago I traveled to Lake Norfolk with my parents for a family vacation. Upon arriving my father (a double lung transplant patient) realizes he has forgotten all his medications at the house. We were in a panic as we had just drove 6 hours to get here. I called this pharmacy and told them the situation. I gave them our information and they made some phone calls. They called back with news that they got all the prescriptions approved and will be ready for pick up. This was on Saturday. They told us they only had one day of his rejection medication but they had ordered some and should be there Monday. They called on Monday and delivered as they promised. Everyone was super nice even found coupons to help with the cost. I know this is not my everyday pharmacy so I can’t speak on consistency but they went far above and beyond for me. I can’t thank them enough. God Bless all.
This is an absolutely awful Walgreen’s pharmacy. (Not commenting on any other part of the store) If you get your scripts sent in at 9am, they won’t have them ready until after 5pm and sometimes it takes two more days. This wouldnt be such a big problem if they didnt continue to tell you they would only need fifteen minutes to get them filled. On several different occasions they have filled only one of my scripts and not filled the second one (scripts i get every month) simply because “they forgot”... even after THEY reminded YOU to ask for them to be filled via email. Most recently they refused to fill a prescription due to insurance issues... which was because Walgreens didn’t have the new card. Same insurance, different card. Rather than checking their information when we asked, they refused! And we had to do a run around with insurance and then again with walgreens.Ive been at different walgreens and they are nothing like this. In addition, when i go in, they can’t find my script or take ten minutes looking for it because it hasnt been properly sorted. Theyre thrown across/inside several different unmarked baskets. Which is understandable, they’re extremely understaffed from what I can tell. Which makes their lines extremely long.I very rarely leave reviews, so trust me if your insurance is not forcing you to work with this walgreens.... avoid it like the plague.
The pharmacy is incompetent and ridiculous … I would drive an hour out of my way to avoid Walgreens …just speaking to the pharmacy will drive your blood pressure up, rude and unprofessional…

Typical Walgreens, long lines, one person working.
Great customer service
I brought a friend up there to get a prescription. I dont care for this Walgreens, they are to slow filling prescriptions. In Harrison, my doctor could call in a prescription and by the time I drive over there it is usually ready, not this store. To shop for everything else they want you to use their rewards card. If you dont have one they charge you more. I dont shop at the stores that do this. I should get the same price as everyone else that shops there and not have to carry their card. I can go into like Walmart, and pay the same as everyone else that go in there. I used to like shopping at Walgreens but now I dont shop there at all. I was there the other day picking up something for someone else. So now you can go in there to shop or do what ever business you have. Now they solicit you for money for their charity. Now there is nothing wrong with charities. I went in there for business, not to be solicited.
Love this atone. All the people are really great help
The people are the rudest, you’d think a cashier would be more humble than that!
I been coming buy to Walgreens since 2015 at age of 30. For 4 years. I been looking around to see what they got. However. My mom went to that Drive-thru Window all the time to go get the medicine for herself. Before i did came buy to Walgreens i wasnt ready to go inside. I was only in my 20s when i was inside of the Vehicle. Not just a car. But a truck. I was in a truck. But i wasnt ready to go inside until 2015. And then i finally did. So i came buy to Walgreens to buy me a soda as well as cereal, bubble gum and of course others including Gift Cards. I may come buy to Walgreens again for one last time before i finally moving out into Apartment this year. I give it 5 Stars for Walgreens after 4 Years.
Walgreen’s is always understaffed and their “priority” line is anything but. Until now the drive through line has been slow, but competent. Today, the typical slow service of the drive through became worse than ever. It took just under nine minutes to be assisted and another six minutes before my “complex” transaction (picking up four prescriptions) could be “tackled”. The staff member was slow to greet me and after spelling my last name for her, she went off to search, came back and proceeded to help the person in the next lane who had just pulled up. To make matters worse, she continued to help the other car even though I had been waiting a long time and was in the middle of my transaction. Eventually, the woman seemed to remember that I was there and came back, but got distracted by something—a pretty bird, a shiny wrapper...perhaps a streak on the glass...maybe a dust mote?? Who knows? She then proceeded to help the next car that came up! Maybe she needed to rest from her HercuIean task. I was eventually served—which took less than a minute—but there was never an apology or mention of what she had done. They have just lost a longtime customer.
I was on hold for over 20 minutes only to be disconnected. When I called back to speak to a manager, and voiced my concerns they were able to connect me to RPH to answer my questions. The store is clearly short staffed and their concern for customers returning is very low. Walgreens used to be a place where they actually cared about their customers and was a nice place to shop. Times have changed and the bottom dollar seems to be their top concern.
Switching to smaller local providers. I have yet to be able to pick up script without waiting. This last time attempted to pickup same script 3 times over 24 hrs and still not available. Was told each time to come back in 1 hr. Ridiculous 😠
The pharmacy IS NO LONGER OPEN 24 HOURS which was there one asset, very disappointing ! I sometimes get partial fills and have to wait a few days to complete the prescription.Drive up window is invariably backed up,the one drive up is often out of order so expect long wait times in drive up,they sometimes tell you your prescription is not quite ready and to drive around and get in the BACK of the drive up line !!!!!!! Lines can be long inside as well, understaffed.Avoid between 3-7 pm lines are SUPER LONG ..Main checkout counter for the rest of store is okay. Walgreens has weekly special check ads.Get a balance reward card to get specials.Parking lot poorly set up,Use caution when parking,I have seen 3 minor fender benders.
Waited for prescription for over an hour and the certain staff members were unkind to many customers who were sick and just needed their medicine to feel better. Really sad costumer service.
Our prescriptions are NEVER ready. On this visit I had to take my ill 2yo in. They told me they would need to check the voicemail to see if they had the prescription yet. We waited 30 min and had to get back in line to even get acknowledged. We were then told no one had even bothered to check the messages yet. Poor customer service in my opinion.
I had a prescription called in from med express, which is right across the street from walgreens around 10 30 am. So I gave it a few hours and called back around 2 20 to ask about my prescription. They said it would be about 15 to 20 minutes. Long story short, I didnt get out of there until 3 44 PM. For some stool softeners mind you! Horrible service, and terrible empathy from the staff! Shame on you guys!
The staff at this location is wonderful. I shop here multiple times a week, and Im always greeted with a smile and everyone is very helpful with any questions I might have or help I may need.
Well I have been on hold 4 times this morning. Each session has been between 15 and 32 minutes. I am attempting to reach pharmacy. Twice they finally picked up and disconnected. I am on my fifth attempt and I have reach 15 minutes and 38 seconds. This is highly unprofessional.
I hope the man who almost crushed me trying to park, because he was mad and wanted to go in and show his intelligence, comes on here to complain so he sees this! You were rude and belligerent. You shouldnt be driving. You had to wait 24 minutes in the car line? So sorry, some have been waiting in the store a bit longer than you. Do you know how to come back for your prescription? You seemed to be overly disoriented. I hope that wasnt pain medication you were after, because you clearly do not need more of that. I wish they had cops posted at these places. This morning when they told me it will be a while for my sons inhaler prescription to be filled they are still short handed, I asked, A while like a few minutes, or a while like hours? You know what I did? I left and went back about the time they said to and guess what, mine was ready. After you got over your rant and out of the way. How hard is that? Dude get a grip, these people are not your dogs, when I got there this morning they were very busy, so I can imagine that didnt stop today just because you had a prescription to get filled. You are awful, you cut in front of someone else to gripe people out and yell like your Mayor McCheese or something! Do you know theres more to that prescription than putting that meds in a bottle? Do you also know you are not the only prescription they get a day? Shame on you, and seriously, let someone else do the driving for you. The next person you almost crush with your car might not be as friendly about it. To the sweet lady working the counter, I am sorry someone that age does not know how to treat other people, I am sorry he belongs to a group of privileged people who think its their right to be first and by God, you better remember it, and since he or any of the others have the decency to say it, I am truly sorry you had to experience him or others like him. For everyone else reading this, Mountain Home people are usually really nice, but lately there is this group of people here who think things should happen right as they wish it and when it doesnt, they become dysfunctional ingrates. People come from all over around this area and parts of MO because its a good size place, learn some patience, have some class, and stop being so hateful.Kind regards,Another customer
I had been a customer here for around 10 years. Over that time this pharmacy has gone down hill terribly and i have transferred to another pharmacy. But Im not writing this about myself. I have a family member that recently had surgery and a long hospital stay. We have had to take her back in to the ER a few times and yesterday the ER attempted to call in a prescription for antibiotics. they called it in twice and after being put on hold numerous times they left a message. also we refilled one of her normal meds that she has taken daily for years. on her app on her phone it said in progress on the refills and nothing about the antibiotics, we attempted to call was placed on hold for 30 min before being hung up on with out ever talking to a human, we tried again. Same thing happened again. today when i drove the 45 min round trip to pick up the antibiotic that she needed yesterday i was informed that the other 2 prescriptions were still not ready. the reason i was given was the price. She has taken this medicine for years from this pharmacy, it has always been the same price. I was told i could wait for it. the other medicine was under review. when i asked why i was told that she wasnt sure but she released it and it would be ready later today. I have no doubt that I was not the nicest to this lady and i kept telling her i DO NOT BLAME HER. But this pharmacy needs to make some major changes. People should be able to talk to a human being when they call and if a medication is called in it should be filled in a timely manor especially if a ER or a doctor calls in a prescription they should get a human being on the phone. Some of the staff is great but some are rude and disrespectful. If this pharmacy cant fill prescriptions in a timely manor then they shouldnt take on more and more customers. I realize they are a business but there has to be a balance between quality and quantity. Now i will step down off my soap box.
Pharmacy takes way too long. Tried to call... endless audix and theN terminal hold. Im going to Heartland from now on.. I just thought this would be convenient.. NOT. 30 MIN. BACKUP now 60 minute waiting. THEY COULD CARE LESS!
The best deals
On hold for 30 minutes, get hung up on. Lines in drive-thru unacceptable. They let people sit and wait on scripts that arent ready, rather than driving back around. They tell you it will be ready in an hour. Try 4-6 hours. Drive thru section frequently have out of order signs on, etc. Love the hours available but not worth the added trouble.
The Walgreens hasn’t been bad but the pharmacy there is ridiculous! We spent 4 hours at the hospital and had to drive from Jonesboro to Mountain Home. We called the pharmacy and asked if they could stay open a few mins later as the gps said we would be there around 11:12 and they still said “NO”! I sped the whole way to see if we could make it before 11pm but we made it at 11:04. They refused to help us even though they were still there. Those pain medications were desperately needed and they could care less. I will never use Walgreens pharmacy again.
I am visiting family and needed to go to the walk-in clinic. Walgreens was across the street so I had them send my scripts there. I have been sitting here for over half an hour and was just told its going to be another 45 minutes before my scripts are ready. The lady was extremely rude to me when i asked how much longer. I should have taken my business else where.
Love them! Super convenient...and with a pharmacy thats open 24 hours. Helpful and friendly! Glad theyre here!
Pharmacy is AWFUL! Rude people in that area. Wait time is unbelievable. Go across street to Freds for your meds. But the store part is well stocked with good selection of beauty products.
Awesome people and good deals. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.
Store was clean, staffed with friendly and welcoming employees. Shelves were varied and well stocked
I thought sending my prescription to Walgreens instead of the other big business place would be convenient for me, even though I knew I would pay more. My doctor called in my scripts around 12:30 which was okay because I was working until 2:00 anyway. I was so WRONG. I had to wait for 45 minutes to pick up prescriptions that had been called in 2 hours before I came to the store. I was standing next to the nurse when she was calling them in at 12:30. I was told it would be 5 mins the first time; after 20 mins I went back; I was then told they were working on them and it would be 5-10 more minutes. So I waited 10 min and was told they were filling the bottles now it would be a few more minutes. Finally I was told they were done only because the last time I did not leave the window. My script had a total of 12 pills, two scripts I had before and had filled at Walgreens but they made me wait for a consult. As long as I have a choice, I will never use Walgreens again. It is more expensive and not any kind of convenient.
Awesome store! Friendly staff! Very attentive pharmacy and sales staf .
Edit. Ok the pharmacy is still very professional and friendly imo. But the store part, I went in to pick up a script and buy cigs. The manager insisted on carding a woman I was talking to, claiming its store policy. I dont know if he has a problem with her but dont involve my purchases with it. I think Ill check out medisave for future business.
When in for flu shot, shot was free through the VA Health friendly service and wide variety throughout store
Long lines out of precision 3. Short handed just a pain.
Well i went in tonight to get some tylenol cause i have a 103 fever and the guy at the register told me i had to have an ID to buy it which is stupid, asked the guy to hold it so i could have my gardian come get it for me and i was told no that i was not able to get it so they couldnt get it for me, thats bs. Cause my father, according to state law cant buy his son tylenol cause his son isnt old enough. DOES NOT MAKE SINCE
The people are awesome! Mike, William, Valerie, to name a few
Clean store, workers are really friendly.
The pharmacy is the biggest joke in the history of jokes ! Went to the drive thru yesterday, only one there, no customers in side, after ten to fifteen minutes I was finally helped . It fn sucks !!
To short staffed! The wait time is crazy long every time.
Terrible service the last few months. Booked appointment online for a flu shot, pharmacy opened 5 minutes late, then was told they dont take appointments there. Twice in the last month, prescriptions werent filled timely because product not in stock (2 different medications). Not notified in advance that medication wasnt available so drove 45 minutes to pick up medicine that wasnt there.
Extremely short staffed very long wait times poor customer service...
Clean well lit and prompt with prescriptions
Pharmacy wait time is a joke. I dont get meds often. But earlier this month I waited over 3 hours. This visit was right under 5 hours.
Always love going to Walgreens ❤
The pharmacy staff is the slowest and most immature staff I’ve ever encountered. If you want to wait 2 hours for a script that can be filled anywhere then this is your place! 🙃👎
Love it...
Best walgreens ever
Nice people working
My son Dropped off prescription, went back to pick it up,they forgot to put all of it in the bag,,,,,,,,,,this is medicine not french fries, plus he lives 25 miles away.Get some qualified personnel!
Seem to be totally clueless and not helpful at all.
Slowest pharmacy ever.
Very slow with prescriptions
