I always have a great experience at Ozark Eye Center. Two cataract surgeries and diabetic eye care. Dr. Booth is both personable and professional. I couldnt ask for any better doctor. All of the staff are friendly, conversational and efficient (shoutout to Karen who is not a Karen ; ) )My best experience this visit was with Casey, my optician. She recognized my needs and selected frames for me to try on. I hate this part of the process and her experience and instincts made it easy. Her friendly personality made it stress free. Thank you Casey, for a very enjoyable experience!
Dr. Booth is an awesome human being and a fantastic surgeon. Her support staff, from the person who handles her schedule, through nurses, aides, assistants, receptionists and anesthesia tech are all professionals who are kind, humorous, patient and caring. I have worked 25 years in the medical profession (15 years in surgery) and I have never known a surgeon who personally calls her patients the evening of surgery to see how they are doing and answer any questions. Dr. Booth and her team ROCK!!!
I had to have a semi urgent visit with an Opthalmologist. I was worked into Dr Hill’s schedule on a Monday . I was very pleased. I did not feel rushed and Dr Hill did not appear rushed even though I am sure he was very busy. He took the time to do a full eye exam and then he explained his findings in full detail that we’re very understandable. He had a very pleasant and professional demeanor .His assistant was also very good. I think we are very fortunate to have such excellent eye care professionals in Mountain Home. I highly recommend Dr Hill and his team! For any of your eye care needs!!
Everyone is so nice and helpful, this is the 1st. Eye doctor office where there are so nice and helpful.. always have a smile... Its just a wonderful place to go....
Had my first eye cataract surgery done by Dr. Booth. I was very apprehensive but the staff and Wes (anthestic) made me feel so relaxed. The surgery went great came out seeing 20/20 day after surgery. Thank you Dr. Booth and Staff!
Dr. McFall is great. Very friendly and professional. The staff is, as well. Ive never had an issue until I had to go see Dr. Hill because Dr. McFall was not in. I had something in my eye for a few days and couldnt get it out with just rinsing and flushing it myself. I figured they would have a solution. Dr. Hill was very rude and acted like I was inconveniencing him. He dilated my eye, checked it and said there was nothing in there. I could feel it in there and he reluctantly checked it again and still swore that he couldnt see anything and sent me on my way with a prescription for an eye salve. He was rude, condescending, very unprofessional and acted like I was making the whole thing up. I know when theres something in my eye and he might have found it if he looked where I told him to. What a waste of my time and money. Reading the other reviews, Im not surprised to see that Im not the only one who has had a bad experience with him. I cant believe that hes allowed to treat his patients like this. I would definitely recommend the eye center but you will definitely want to see Dr. McFall and not Dr. Hill.
Great staff, friendly and very helpful in assessing my situation as they provided treatment suggestions to inform me of options available. Dr. Hill & his staff helped me to fully understand the procedures as they also helped calm some fears. Im in the initial phase of a major upcoming treatment and so far everyone has been super!
Dr. Alison Booth was wonderful, as were the rest of the staff. Clean, efficient and professional. I felt valued and never rushed. Highly recommended.
Excellent care by everyone there.
I have taken all 7 of my children to Ozark Eye Center for years and have always been treated very good. Friendly staff all the way around! Always have gotten in at scheduled times and have received the best of care every single time! Thank you Ozark Eye Center!!
My Dr. moved to their company so I thought I would move with her but after dealing with the receptionist I decided to stay at Sneeds because of the kindness and caring staff.Update--- received a call from Ozark Eye Center addressing my complaint and it has been resolved. This has changed my review from a 2 to a 4 and still reqard Dr. Booth as a 5 of 5 and will reconsider using their company as they truly do listen.
The only way I am giving the two stars is that I like my eye Dr.I have been going there for 10 plus years.I often wonder if my Dr. knows how incompetent the reception staff is there .They rarely answer the phone there .When you enter the reception area you are not even greeted .The receptionists are very curt and unfriendly. They drill you like a criminal about your info, ins etc.I feel like their faces would crack if they ever smiled. They misinform you about the timing of your glasses . I was told in mid November that It would take about 2 weeks .They didnt call me until after new years.I tried to call there several times to inquire about my glasses .You are sent to voice mail . I left 2 messages before they returned my calls. They were not even apologetic about the delay.I am seeking a new optical place because of this and it is too bad because I like my eye Dr.
Doctors are good! When you walk in nobody ever greets you or even acknowledges your presence. Optical is very stuffy and seems like a hassle to get anything done. Not very friendly and very slow.
Dr. McFall is great. The office staff is great... But dealing with the optical department is a huge hastle. After my first exam I was told I HAD to go through their optical department. It cost me an $800 account due to a 30 minute wait and an hour of dealing with an optical specialist. That was last year. When I went to make an appointment this year and called for my script for contacts to be filled due to their scheduling error and my script almost expiring I got a huge run around AGAIN from the optical department. I wont be going back. Huge waste of time and very inconvenient.
My 80 year old mother will not go back after Dr. Jones retired. She said Dr. Hill is unprofessional and talked down to her.
The eye doctors are extremely thorough and experienced. Great experience overall!
Dr McFall, is the best.
Dr Whitney D McFall SHE is just FABULOUS with my Son Made him feel like a person and definitely NOT A Problem as experienced at Kilgore on 62....Very Satisfied with Everyone that works there 5*****
1st I went in with an eye infection. Dr. Hill seen me this time. The receptionist was very professional along with pleasant n helpful! After going back in the room with the assistant, she was very sweet, professional. Doing her job, making me feel very welcome n helpful. Dr. Hill comes in the room, introduces himself. Looking things over that she had checked n noted. He then BLOWS UP, yelling at her over 1 test she failed to do! She teared up, apologizing for his behavior. My heart sank for her. He was so very UNPROFESSIONAL! ! After he comes back in the room, his whole demeanor, attitude changed! So sweet etc. Just like he never did anything wrong! This was so very unacceptable. Can we say possibly split personality? Once leaving, I made sure to complain along with informing them, never to ever put me with him again! 2nd visit: I had an eye appointment to get my yearly vision tested. I woke up with shingles on my face. Instead of calling my physician, I went ahead in went in to OEC. Whitney D. McFall, O.D. was who I seen. I couldnt get my vision tested, although she gave me a prescription for my shingles. She prescribed ACYCLOVIR 800MG TB 5 times daily for 10 days. By day 7. I ended up calling my regular physician. Told him this is the worst I have ever had shingles! This time I had them from the corner of my right lip, wrapping around to behind neck to my left ear. Worst was across my eyelids, inside my mouth, nose n ear. He informed me NOT TO TAKE ANOTHER PILL! He called in me a new prescription. This isnt my first rodeo with shingles btw. Due to this, I now have nerve damage in both eyelids. Along with dry eyes due to the nerves not communicating with my tear ducts. I ended up going to Mattax Neu Prater Eye Center in Branson, MO to get punctal plugs inserted in both eyes. Which was $100 cheaper per eye than OEC. Just a word of advice, going to Mattax Neu Prater Eye Center is the best place to get your eyes taken care of! Going a few extra miles will save your eye site! 3rd visit. Finally got to get my yearly check up, it was with Dr. McFall again. Examined vision, conclusion that the glasses I wore on that day, Ive worn for a few years. One that I could see perfectly out of to do my daily work in. Informs me that those glasses, their very blurry!? I was examined for glasses n contacts. I wore out a pair of contacts along with 2 prescriptions. Wore contacts 2 days, I didnt have to work or read because I was seeing blurry for sure! I called OEC, told them what was going on, thought my eyes just needed to get adjusted to them but it wasnt working. So they had to order a pair. my husband went n picked them up. same thing! Blurry! So I called again, same thing, had to order another pair. So finally a pair that I could see a lil better in, it wasnt prefect. By this time, it was getting closer to the year n had to order my year worth of contacts. So calling OEC, informed them i was needing to get my prescription to place my order along with correcting my glasses prescription, it wasnt complete. She told me that they wouldnt complete it, Id have to come in n order from them. I said ok, I have to get my contact correct prescription. She said which 1 since I got 3 pairs. I said the last pair I received. She said that I walked out with 3 pairs the day of my exam! I said NO! We have made 3 trips to OEC, she argued that I had got them at the same time n they didnt know which 1 was the last 1 I wore. I just said forget it! Ill go somewhere else for another eye exam. She was hateful! Why would I do that!? But Ill leave your prescription at the front desk in an envelope so I can pick it up at my convenience. I told her to throw it in the trash. I wont be back ever! I havent been back or sent anyone there. Ifound a knowledgeable DR., got my contacts an glasses. Finally about a month later, OEC was gracious enough to waste their stamp to mail me my blinding prescription for my trash! !
Quick and employees are friendly
Both my husband and I have been going to Ozark Eye Center for at least 5 or 6 years now. Theyre just wonderful, we absolutely love the entire staff.
I called in to request an appointment and was scheduled to see Dr Hill at 8 am. Went there on the said date and time and was told there was no record showing my appointment yet my info was available on the computer. I asked het why i was asked to come in at 8, she said she did not know as there were many people who schedule. Since she was not the one who scheduled so she could not say anything. Really? Will not go back there again.
Dr Hill and staff are the best.
