I was visiting a local friend and my truck broke down so had it towed to Clay Maxey. Service Dept was outstanding as it prioritized my truck knowing that I was passing through and got it up and running within 24 hours. They called several times to keep me updated on status and quickly resolved what could have been a nightmarish situation.
Horrible customer service. Waited 2.5 weeks for our appointment date on a Tuesday. Dropped off the night before and 2 days later I had to call for an update. They still hadn’t looked at our truck. Finally got a call Friday afternoon. Needed to order parts and they won’t be there until Monday and we asked to get the oil changed while it was there. Waited until later part of the day Tuesday to call for another update. They finally called at 4:04 saying everything was done but the oil change. We couldn’t get there before they closed so I said do the oil change the next morning and we’ll come get it. I called at 12:54 pm on Wednesday and they still had not done the oil change. Something that should take under 30 min still had not been completed. All I got were excuses: guys at lunch, lube guy is behind, should be a two week wait for oil changes. Are you kidding me? None of this was communicated the two times I asked for the oil to be changed. We picked it up with out an oil change. We had to pay for a rental every day it was in the shop and got our truck back with the gas on E and the light on. Still hear a knocking and has issues. Will never go back and I would never recommend using them.
Terrible costumer service. We had to call for up dates because no one called us. They had my truck for 3 weeks changed the fuse box, when that didn’t fix it they changed the alternator. Charged me $1,300.00 dollars. I picked up the truck, drove it a mile down the road and the check engine light came on. Turned around took it back to them and instead of looking at it right then, they wanted to keep it again. At this point I decided enough was enough and took it to Goodyear in West Plains Missouri. Goodyear fixed it in 2 hours. You would think a Chevrolet Garage would be able to fix a Chevrolet Truck! I took the old alternator to o’Reillys to have it checked, there was nothing wrong with it. Needless to say I won’t be going back.
This place is superior to other options in town. They provided me an estimated date and actually completed the job faster. They were professional, polite and as accommodating as they could be .
My first time at Clay Maxey, the experience was good. Staff was helpful and communication was good.

Took our 2002 Corvette, with 29000 miles to this place. used to be Kent Chev when good. Appt at 10am, people behind desk said try to fit you in. They set the time,. not I. Was with Kent for 5 years., car bot there, Cadiliactook my Denali there also, never, never a problem. Nothing but problem here at this new name. Didnt call when ready, I called, said ready to be picked up with notes, they never called. Did call asking for another hour to work on car, I said sure, want it fixed. Got there. Close to $200 bill, car not fixed., said exhaustleaked passenger rear wheel, exhaust blowing smoke. No estimate to fix, said old, car, afraid the plastic would fall apart.. Uuh, its a 2002 Vette with 29000 miles... Bring back Kent. horrible service.
The shop that was suppose to reflash my pcm decided to move on to other things. called here and they said they could do it today, brought it on up and they had me in and out in a half hour and done it way CHEAPER than anywhere else!!! definitely got a new customer from this point forward
At the time of my appointment, they were ready for me. Kept me informed while they worked on my car. Wonderful staff and pleasant waiting room with coffee and bottled water. When I left started to go to a car wash as when I arrived my car was dirty. Realized as I drove out that it was nice and clean. They had it washed before returning it to me. Great surprise! Hard to get anyone outside to help and then have no idea on prices or about the cars on the lot .old guy I took there had to go in to find help to buy a car, side note cash buyer credit score over 800 so not sure what it would take to for them to want your business.

I dont think they dont anything about cars!! My car is in there all the time for repairs. My AC just started making a weird noise, I bring it in and it sits there for hours and they tell me its suppose to be like that?! News to me! I bring my car in because my back window sounds like it could just drop down when I roll it down, I bring it in and sits there for hours and they tell me its fixed. I get in my car and its the exact same! They dont do anything right! My list can go on and on. Simple stuff. Oh yes! My car was making a weird noise when I turned my wheel and I brought it in and they told me after two days of working on it they tell me its my hatchback, when its open it doesnt make the sound and when its closed it makes the sound? That has nothing to do with my steering?!

We paid $800 to repair the fuel pump & sensor & was told it was good for 100,000 miles. Then the check engine light came on again & the guy said our truck wasnt worth fixing. Very disappointed.

Went in 3 weeks ago, they got me in even tho i know they were busy. Did a diagnostic as my service engine soon warning light came on as i was entering town. They were suppose to call me back to see when further inspection of the issue could be done, bever heard a peep. I have been using their service for 15 years, and it is not the place it use to be. Kurt was outstanding, but is now in Harrison location and his replacement is much less than helpful, sorry to say. He gets short with you and frustrated and does not really seem to care. Bob is not there anymore, he was also very good in his position. Even Wes is no longer there. I hear Janie came back part time, but she was not there last time I was there. A big disapointment. Anyway, i ended up in touch with Cherry Automatic Transmissions in Mtn Hm and got the informtion and answers I needed to make an informed decision about my car and I didnt even have to leave home! My local mechanics at 870AUTO in Summit told me about Cherrys. Definitely recommend them and the fellows at 870AUTO too!

I have my mind set on a Honda CRV and they had one, we stopped and test drove it with Hank. I was so comfortable with the fact that he was not pushing us to buy anything and he and his manager were so down to Earth. I wish the car would of had less mileage because these are the kind of sales people I would like to do business with. No pushy in your face sales, just honest people. I suggest any one that is in the Mountain Home area to stop

Came in for service on my 2016 Cadillac SRX. Was having problems with the memory seat and the key fob. Didn’t understand why the seat wouldn’t always go back to The assigned key fob. Everyone got involved and couldn’t figure out the problem. Joey, the sales manager came out and wouldn’t give up until he figured out the problem. Yay for Joey and everyone involved! Great service!

Just took my Chevy Cruze in for a cracked turbo that was tripping my check engine light. The car currently has 46000 mile on it so it was supposed to be covered under my warranty. They told me that they didnt notice the crack and that they did nothing by any means to fix the turbo they just turned my light off and said to come back if the light came back on. The light never came back on but I didnt believe that they did nothing to fix it. So I took it to my hometown mechanic who discovered the problem in the first place. He then told me that the reason that my light was staying off now is because instead of replacing the turbo they preceded to take a shortcut and weld the crack shut on my turbo. There was evidence of the weld and sanding of the weld to make it look like the crack was never there. I am currently doing everything I can to fight this but dont have much proof of it and they just denied it. Dont trust this dealership. By any means do everything possible to keep from taking your vehicle to be worked on or serviced here.
I had an accident and the brakes failed and the pedal went right to the floor. The car did not slow down as I pumped the pedal and caused some bad damage. I was lucky that no one was in the way. I have never had an explanation of my brakes not working except to day it is not on recall as are 200,000 others. I got a call from Peter at a separate corporation than GM and he said my accelerator was 27% in motion;. It never did slow down at all. I was pumping the pedal,to the ground and did not touch the accelerator and as far as I know maybe he was measuring my movement as that was about my speed. The only thing that stopped me from going on the highway was a parked truck whiich I hit and it stopped my car. I then showed my wife how the brake just went to the floor with no resistance. After the car was moved to ;put it on a truck the brakes then came on. I would like a good explanation of what happened. I also brought my 2019 spark with just 57 miles and my gas gauge did not work and waited for some time and was told they couldnt figure what the cause was and said I need to put on 150 miles and bring it in. No explanation of why they couldnt determine the cause when they could tell me I was moving at 27% . I bought both autos from Kent Motors but now I am not very sure I want to drive my Equinox as if they couldnt find out the cause I am afraid it will happen again. Had puncture in new (700 miles) Michelin Pilot Super Sport tire on my new Corvette Z06. Took to Kent Chevrolet Dealership (local) to replace (puncture too close to edge). First they tell me cant get them from distributor (on back-order). I tell them Tire Rack (mega tire/wheel) online business has tons of them. So, I order from Tire Rack, it comes in very quick & I show up for tire mounting. After waiting 1 1/2 hrs tech guy tells service mgr, after breaking loose old tire bead, he says he cant mount new tire w/o damaging my wheel. &*#! They call local sales rep for Hunter Equipment & he volunteers to bring in his Touch-less tire changer next day. I limp home again to return manana. Now after about 1-2 hrs its is finally done after great deal of effort on their part (tech guys). Most Chevy dealers cant order new Vettes but damn, they should be able to service them (tires). These are low profile, run-flat tire, extremely wide (11 frt/13 rear) & heavy. Corvette forums I visit online have about 90% Vette owners complaining about same difficulty in their area. Kent Chevrolet needs to A: get a damn wheel changer which can handle all tires B: train several techies how to do it. Absolutely ridiculous to not be able to change tires on a $100,000 car GM sells!

They are just money hungry... The extended warranty that they sell is a joke. The service center has no respect for their costumers and they dont do their jobs properly either. Ive brought my car in freshly cleaned before and my floor mat was covered in dirt when I got my car back from the oil change. The last oil change I got was 3 weeks ago and they said all my fluids were full but guess what my heater goes out a couple days after the oil change. I call them and make an appointment to get it checked out.Take my car ask them to call me before they do anything thats going to cost me any money. The desk cleark named Bob gives me his word that he will. Does he NO! I even tried calling them after my car had been there for hours.. With no answer I left a message on the answering machine asking about what was going on with no reply. Finally at 4:pm they call me. To say its fixed and ready for pick up. I go get my car just to be informed that I had been driving my car with out coolant. Said they had to run a air leak test but couldnt find any leaks... So they added dye to my coolant informed me that I could now just watch it to see if it went low again. Of course none of this is cover by that great warranty that cost a extra $1500 on signing. I point out the fact that I was just there a few weeks before for a oil change and how said all my fluid leves were good. They swear that the checked all fluid levels.. Which just seem like a lye to me inorder for it to of leaked out that fast it should of been a significant leak.. Big enough that air test would of found it. Im just lucky that my car was in a body shop getting repaired most of this time or Id been driving it without coolant way more and would of prolly blown the heads.. As for Kents body shop they under esamate there repairs so if you get paid from the insurance company exspect them to charge you way more after the works is finshed.. It is just an alround shady bussiness

They will do a 100% top to bottom inspection and diagnostics on your car for 40$Just dont get the work done there or your gonna over pay. The above service is a steal though!
