I was shopping around for some prices and came across Mainstreet. I made an appointment with Max who was very friendly and super helpful! He found a few options for me that met the criteria in no time. Thank you guys for excellent customer service!

I drove an hour to this place with a scheduled appointment, I had an appointment with Max @4pm. The directions to the dealership from the Facebook Marketplace page took me to their mechanic shop, not the dealership lot (same owners) which was 15 min way. Maxs dad led me over the the dealership lot and showed me the car. Max never showed up. The Marketplace listing had the incorrect trim type and had a Kelly Blue Book estimate that was for the car being in excellent condition. It was actually in good condition at best, which put it $600 lower in value. The battery was dead and two tires were flat so the car wasnt even drivable for a test drive. The windshield was also cracked. He said it had been sitting for 3 months. Once jumped it idled OK, but theres more to a good car than the engine idling well. He showed me three other similar cars, all with flat tires. Based on these things I couldnt trust anything he told me about the condition any of his cars. Worst experience Ive ever had at a used car dealership.

Went to go test drive a vehicle for $7,000 and it had nothing but problems - and he’s trying to sell this junk. The transmission slammed into every gear and the turbo wasn’t even working so it had zero power. Drove down the road a mile on the test drive and the check engine light came on. That’s what happens when you just clear codes without fixing them and hope it doesn’t come back on during the test drive. Ridiculous. By the looks of it, he sells nothing but junk. I don’t think his lot has one vehicle in it that’s not junk. Don’t waste your time like I did and just stay away from this place. Crooks

We bought a 2006 Volvo from Mainstreet on March 25, 2015. After a test drive and bringing my son to see and drive the car he fell in love with it. We bought it after being told the car was a good one, new battery,etc. On the way home the drivers seat kept creeping forward pushing my son into the dash. I sent Max an email as soon as we got home and received no reply. Bringing it to mechanic we were told there was a short in the wiring which they fixed. Two months later the drivers window dropped inside the door frame and broke. We had a Volvo dealership fix that and were told someone had been inside this door messing with the window before. Now in October the car died in the middle of an intersection and left my son stranded until we got there to help. The car was dead and had it towed. Just got the phone call that the engine seized up and a new motor would be needed. Looking at about $3000 for that IF we decide to fix it. Could be bad luck on our part but looking at legal options for us to claim we bought a lemon.

I was trying to find a good price on a used Honda Accord that met the criteria I was looking for and I hadnt been able to find one until I visited this place. Max (I think hes one of the owners) told me that if I could wait about a week he for sure could find one that met my needs at the price I was willing to pay. I figured Id give him a shot and in just two days he called me back saying he found me something. I took it for a test drive and bought it. Next time I need a used car Im going back to see Max.

Ive bought over 10 cars from Max and his father. Every car I have bought from him has been properly represented. Any issues that arose were addressed by Max and taken care of at no additional cost. This is a used car dealership and used cars are always a gamble. If you dont want to have any issues ever then buy a new car and get a warranty. I will always continue to buy vehicles from max because his prices are fair and service is friendly.

I test drove a Mercedes and the car was misrepresented by their ad on Craigs List which included, *** NO ISSUES, RUNS GREAT...I should have known seen the red flag; what used car has NO ISSUES?The employee I met was all over the place. He couldnt answer any questions I had, such as, Why is there personal items and garbage in the passenger and back seat?, Why arent the seat adjustments working? or Where is the spare tire? and he was covered in oil and gas. Im guessing he was the mechanic, but after driving the car I was baffled by the list of problems that should have been fixed before anyone test drove it.The condition of the car itself was atrocious:* The seat belt tensioner was broken and it kept about 2ft of slack.* Airbag and ABS errors displayed on the dashboard LCD upon ignition.* The brake pressure was scary soft. The rotors were shot and the pads were squealing and needed to be replaced.* The key fob didnt lock/unlock the doors.* The radio didnt turn on.* The supercharger was not producing any compression, so it would lag terribly when accelerating.- How is the constituted as NO ISSUES??Because the seat adjustments was broken I couldnt move to a safe position. It was completely moved as far back as it could be so I had to sit on the edge of the seat.I wouldnt waste go back or recommend this place of business to anyone.

The owner Max was great. Im satisfied with my van. So far it runs great.

Bought a Mercedes Benz claimed to be no issues come to find out MAJOR issues 2 days after I bought the vehicle MAX left out of town for 2 weeks that caught time into my 30 day warranty. Got a loaner car while my car was getting fixed turned out to be a lemon broke down on me downtown mpls. Bad customer service. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED $13,000 down the drain. Bad business.

Bought a car, was told it had A/C. Being February took Maxs word. However on Mothers Day when I turned it on. Hot Air blew out. Also was lied to, told the car had Only 1 owner. When looked into, 2 previous owners out of state. Be cautious of this company.Would recommend you find ANY other auto dealer besides this one. Under No circumstances use Maxs financing at Nusource, Marni talks fast and swindles your hard earned money!

Liars and thieves. Stay away at all costs. Take the bus for a week and buy somewhere else. And his financer marnie is no better. They will talk in circles, bs you, and lie.

Went to go look at/test drive a truck there and they couldnt find the keys for it! RIDICULOUS. I left after 10 minutes of that $#/+

Max is a liar and will take advantage of you! He forged documentation, highly unprofessional and should not to be trusted!!! Took him to small claims court in Hennepin County and won! Bad businessman!!!!!
