I was very impressed with Autometrics professionalism and their quick accurate diagnostics. I took my 5.4l Triton in because it was running lean both banks, idling horrible when cold and I assumed it needed a new intake manifold or vacuum leak repairs. They got me in the morning after I called and by the end of the day diagnosed a faulty MAF. They offered to make the repair but I elected to repair my truck on my own and my truck is now running flawlessly thanks to their accurate diagnosis.

When asked to retain old parts took a picture instead. This disappointed me greatly. It was a simple request. I was unable to confirm any fault in the part that cost 900 to replace. The repair did not resolve the issue. An additional 700 dollar procedure was recommended. Took car to an alternate location. Problem was solved for less than half the cost.

If I was a resident of Moses Lake this would be my go to repair shop ! We were on a road trip and our newly installed ( in MT ) went out. Not only did these guys fit us in, make the appropriate repairs to get us back on the road-they handled the warranty claim. This does not even mention the massage chair in the waiting room ! Overall fantastic experience. This was my first time using these guys and I couldn’t be more impressed. Took my 70’ Chevy pickup in for some tune up work. In 2 weeks they made it run like it was brand new. Tanner was super good on communication and keeping me updated on the status of my truck. If you want them to work on a vw tdi, have them guarantee that they actually have a tdi tech in shop before you have a car towed to their shop, or you will be out the tow fee.Update to my 1st review: The guys at AutoMetrics have proven they are truly professionals. They called me back to inform me that they did pay the tow fee for my New Beetle to be towed to another professionals shop (Mike Bauers) where it will be diagnosed. Highly satisfied customer with a 2017 Chevy Volt!! I couldnt make my appointment on time and still they were able to accommodate. They ran into a couple of hiccups with the equipment but were very personal with the situation. If they had questions, they came out to the waiting area to grab Mr and show me what ever they had questions with and just the entire process seemed very upfront and reliable. At the end, my engine bay was dirty and Alfonzo just went ahead and pressure washed and cleaned it! Its dreadful to visit any auto shop that thinks to do it their own way and makes a long story of everything and doesnt show you what they are doing and what issues they ran into during the process and just super sketchy weird stuff. But I really appreciated all the great communication and professionalism! Would highly recommend!

Customer service is good. Shop technicians are completely incompetent. This review isnt written lightly. This judgement comes after approximately my 6th visit. This doesnt include the back and forth for incomplete work..... Photos represent my recent coolant flush and refill of pink lifetime coolant. Well as you can see that didnt happen. Also left the hose to reservoir not completely attached which left coolant everywhere and a puddle on my splash guard.UPDATE - It took another full day and two other visits on top of my initial visit to bring my coolant back. It was done though. As mentioned earlier. Staff is always helpful and polite.

Took my car into Autometrics for the first time and Tanner helped me at the front desk. He was very friendly, professional, and quick to answer all my ?’s. I appreciated the courtesy shuttle and friendly crew that got me back & forth while they had my car. I was pleasantly surprised when they called to tell me my car was ready & the final price was well under what they initially quoted me, because once they got under the hood the work wasn’t as extensive as they initially thought. What a difference from my last experience with a different shop in town, whose price & shop time tripled once they had my car torn apart!! I will be returning to Autometrics for all my vehicle maintenance, and I highly recommend you give them a try!!

Chose not to go with them. Quoted 1k to replace 350 dollars in parts. A high pressure fuel pump right on top of the motor in plain sight held on by 3 bolts. Did it myself in 30 minutes.

I have only done business with Nate (diagnostic/technician) and Krystle (front desk), so I cannot speak to other employees at AutoMetrics, but I can speak to their service and work. Krystle is knowledgeable and professional, and she seeks answers for anything she doesnt know... a much appreciated quality. Nate has done prior work on my vehicles, and he is outstanding at diagnostics and technician work. In fact, he is the only one I trust to work on my vehicles. I am currently scheduled to have maintenance done on my main vehicle, and I always rest easy because I know Nates work is exceptional and my vehicle will therefore be reliable. In addition, Nate, as well as Krystle, are clearly concerned with customer satisfaction, and that is their priority. That is a welcome change in this day and age! Nate is upfront about what needs to be done and what would be beneficial to do. Honesty and integrity is always important, but it is especially appreciated by those on a budget who sometimes cannot do everything at once. That, for me, is what equates to returning customers!

Recently Bought a 2015 Durango with the Hemi.The Cars AC freeon was leaking a month later when we finally needed it due to warm weather. Took it to Autometrics and it turned into quite the expense. Well, Alfonso the shop manager, went out of his way and talked the dealership into covering a third of the cost... This big job was done in a few days. Solid team here in Moses Lake.

I was visiting Moses Lake and I knew on the way up here from CA that my car had an oil leak issue. I researched the issue as much as I could myself, but eventually found myself Googling expert VW service and Autometrics came up. I called ahead, they said they had time to check it out and I was there within an hour. Even though the parts were not immediately available, they took the car in right away to be sure to give me a solid estimate. While I waited, I was able to actually do my job since they have fast internet and a VERY comfortable lounge (that is nicer than my living room). I used to work at a shop myself and I can tell within about 5 minutes whether or not I want a shop touching my car or not. Nate brought me out to see the car and went through it. He knew exactly what he was talking about and had a lot of VW experience. Two shops had quoted me over $1200 and I just knew that was too much. Autometrics knew the alternative method for the repair and I was out the door for just less than half of that. Im so glad I called them and relieved to be back on the road with a solid car.edit: also want to shout out Crystal and the staff for being awesome. loved loved loved the bonus of them shuttling me home and picking me up during repairs.

I really expected to spend at least spend $1,000 on my problem, as it sounded like my engine was being possessed. Nathan literally fixed the problem for me and did not charge me a dime. Im in awe. From that point on my car has been whistling, Ive been complaining since I picked it up,we can run a smoke test on it for another$100 ugh it gets better!! They just charged me$250 to replace an O2 sensor.Msensor.Manager cant even look me in the eye while he is taking my $ over the counter.BEWARE How dare you call me a liar,, the whistle was never there until you greese monkies touched it.I drive six miles a day.Your manager was informed within the hour of me picking up my car.You will be turned into the BBB

Came here to get my oil changed and ended up having my front brakes redone and this annoying rattling that one one could figure out.Was given a ride back and forth to work when needed. The entire staff was as helpful, kind and courteous.

We had a 98 GMC Pick up worked on with an Antifreeze leak this week. They did a fantastic job! They gave and stuck to the quote, went above and beyond expectations, very friendly staff, and such a clean shop. Would highly recommend AutoMetrics to anyone. We plan on going back for all our auto needs.

Enjoyed being here, as a 27yo female with limited knowledge on cars, they took the time to explain things to me m. The receptionist was kind enough to even offer me a ride home because my car could’ve worsened with driving it. & Jason was so helpful, they checked a few things & did a little work & didn’t end up charging me for the time they’ve already spent. I had to take it to my Nissan dealership for warranties & such but I completely recommend them!! You won’t be sorry!

Totally worth going for even an oil change. Their inspections are cheap and help you tell what all could be going wrong. They even gave me a list of the things that are gonna need worked on and how much in total they’d do it for. I just had an A/C pump installed which was a little more pricey than I could afford but they have great mechanics and a great payment plan with decent monthly payments I’m only paying $89/ month for a $1000 fix. I seriously recommend trying them for at least an oil change and maybe get your car inspected!

I took a 2009 BMW 128i for a valve cover replacement. I brought the part in from A1 Auto with zero defects.I got called to pick the car up and when my wife and son arrived the car was not running correctly from “another problem “. I was told it was an oil sensor and it would be done after the weekend. I get a call that the valve cover was leaking and I brought in a defective part. So all after $2500.00 later of repair and suggested repairs, I am sitting here with the same issue. They want to discount me 50% in labor but still $1900.00 to correct the problem. The technician did not tell the staff the part supplied was wrong and would not fit right vs saying something and correcting the issue. The owner then realized what had happened and ordered a new part overnight and had the technician fix it for free we just paid for the parts.

My battery quit at exactly the wrong time. We were headed to Leavenworth for another Culp rally and went to load the car and leave. Found I had a dead battery, so I hooked up charger and tested the charging system. Battery was no longer any good, so we ran to AutoMetrics and Crystal and the guys had us out of there in less than 30 minutes. You all rock and you saved the day once again

I had my 2013 BMW 328i looked at because I got my oil changed at hanzoil right next to the dollar store it was running perfect and I just got a full gas tank and i was getting my oil changed and the people at the oil changing spot did not put any oil back in my car I went one block after it knocked all violent and seaed my car I was stuck in the middle of street for an hour and lucky I walk back tonthe oil changing spot he said im sorry my fault and got it towed to his spot and he told me he would pay for my 160000 dollar car to get fixed by a professional he had it towed to this place and in the reviews they wrote they dont know if the cause was no oil I know for a fact and so does he so I dont know why they would say that now im out of a car and haft to walk everywhere lucky I was not employed at the time or I wohld be fired for sure I dont see why im in a loss because you guys say you dont know the cause now all my aftermarket parts I paid for about a thousand dollars worth everything i worked for is gone I was trying to see if my car is still there or did it disappear and and deffinetly not happy.

When the key to my Lincoln became defective recently, I phoned AAA and had them tow it to AutoMetrics since I had the oil changed there earlier this year and everyone was so helpful and friendly. This time, I was equally impressed with the service manager, mechanics and staff. They did an excellent job getting a new key programmed and even provided transportation as necessary while my car was in their shop!

As I walk through the door the staff are friendly and very helpful. One thing that troubles me is the pricing for fixing simple things and one way to be considered to people is to offer a upfront payment for things that are simple and easy to fix.

Great staff. Friendly group of guys working there. I would recommend Nathan Mathews to work on anyones vehicle anytime, he is very knowledgeable when it come to all types of vehicles. He is quick and efficient, he checks everything out and will let you know if he sees any other issues with your vehicle so that you are aware and can be safe on the roads. The owner Brian is also very knowledgeable and is there to help guide his team to helping his clients whenever needed.

Just driving through on I-90, but experiencing problems w/ engine shutting down without notice. Volkswagon Phaeton (no longer made and imported here only for 2 years). Limped in after some verbal assurances from Jordan. Signed for the $140 inspection and had last repair invoice from dealership emailed (same problem). Everyone was very nice (2 babies and wife needed to kill a couple of hours time). Overheard a few customers speaking so highly of them, which gave me peace of mind.Tech Junior test drove 30 minutes later, but could not get same shut down. He did suspect catalytic converter and the oxygen sensor and I thought oh no... (car would be grounded here for weeks). Could we band aid it to work since no one had a rental available? Two hours later, Junior acknowledged they could not pinpoint the problem and had even called the Owner for his input. They waived the inspection fee. I attempted to provide a cash tip for pizza or coffee, but they refused. Who can be critical of a shop that cannot repair what a dealership with a Phaeton certified mechanic could not trouble shoot before? What I can do is really praise Auto Metrics integrity for not accepting a payment for their time. I shall tell my friends in Yakima and am confident this new location will do very well. Although there was some definite confusion about whether or not an employee had ordered (and received) the part after stating they had done so, the people I personally dealt with were very lovely and professional. Just for their kindness and patience, Id like to give them more stars, however I do not appreciate being mislead.Overall though, it is a nice place, and I would take my car in again for repairs and work. If there had not been the original snafu, I would have given 5 stars, hands-down, no question about it. Their prices are EXTREMELY reasonable as well.

Great mechanics and customer service! We had no air conditioning in triple digits and Jordon went above and beyond helping us to get it fixed in one day. He even personally picked us up 4 miles away after it was completed. Very clean shop!!! The mechanic, Jr. even let us go into the shop, showing us and explaining to us what the problem was.

Said that they could reprogram the key to my 2012 vw jetta but couldnt and had to get it taken to overturf in tricities where they were able to do it in an hour

Had a bit of an emergency today while traveling back to Yakima from Spokane. I was coming up on Moses Lake and the Engine light came on, motor shuttered and I pulled over to find my last oil change the oil filter was not fitted properly and last up to 4 quarts of oil...2 error codes.I didnt know these guys but they quickly diagnosed the problem and it was corrected and assured me it was safe to continue to Yakima in this 100 degree weather.

For starters took my SUV to autometrics for a noise knock in the motor after i had an oil change done elsewhere after after the 5th time going in 7 days later they still haven’t touch the car only pulling valve covers as I walk in upset the tech mention to me that he found a timing chain guide broken after giving the ok 4 days later the car still had just the valve covers off and nothing done told them put it together I’ll go elsewhere the wife/manager got aggressive and said come back before end of day I came back car was not done was I was 2 hours late to work came back in the morning still not done till 45 minutes and 10 days later after I was promised more then once about car being done
