Hello, I had a great sales experience over the weekend. I recommend them, consider buying an Acura! Thomas made the visit uncomplicated, actually his information on the cars I was interested in helped my decision. He should be awarded- very competent and friendly! I decided to buy the used Acura RDX, the price was within my reach and the long history of how well it’s made, has now made me an Acura car owner!. Then I was given a loaner vehicle while they updated & finalized the inspection on the car I decided on - they stand by their decision to inspect the used cars they sell. The pictures are the loaner car and the Hyundai that brought me in to Acura. Plus information on the Certified cars and the inspection they do on those types.There is just one thing that could have improved my sales experience - having the Hyundai available for me to test drive. I almost left Acura because it wasn’t available. It was posted on line to buy but it was still being inspected when I arrived.

Been going to this location for two years for service. Came in for warranty maintenance On my 2019 TLX and the technician scratch my car on a blue lift, didn’t give me my usual car wash, I guess to try to hide the damage . I left after warranty work was completed with a dirty car which I took to a touch less car wash and noticed the Horrendous scratch, I went back up there less than a hour for them to deny and try to manipulate a picture of my vehicle. Told them to show me the actual video of me pulling in and sure enough there was no scratch on my vehicle upon driving in. The manager at that time came up with some Diabolical excuse to say there’s another camera angle with no proof of scratch on this angle of video and he went back to the doctored up picture he had on the screen “Real Shotty“ work you can tell he manipulated the picture in the computer . I’ve had body work done with them before and told the manager he could check my service history I had kept up with my service religiously. Felt like the service department was thirsty for repairs and was willing to do anything to get them. They offered me No remedy for my inconvenience, I will never get my vehicle service here again !!!!!! P.S. seems like if your vehicle comes out with a newer model they treat you like trash.

Marc who works in your service department was so accommodating, patient and understanding for the many issues we were having after purchasing an Acura RDX at your downtown location. The RDX 2020 we purchased was in for servicing within 36 hours of purchasing the vehicle. We called and tried to return the vehicle since the navigation/radio went out within 7 minutes of leaving the dealership Saturday evening after our purchase. Obviously we were extremely upset and emotional about this purchase. Marc went above and beyond and gave us outstanding prompt informative service due to the issues we were having with our brand new vehicle. I just purchased a new 2021 RDX from this dealership. Honestly had a great experience. I walked in just to look at the RDX with no intention of buying a car that day. I was super impressed on the test drive.Leo got us all set up, he was very willing to negotiate and helped us get a deal that was impossible to refuse. We were very impressed with how quick the process was. We walked in at 530 and walked out with a car by 8. It was a great experience, the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. I strongly recommend to Avoid this dealership. They are crooked and deceitful. They advertise low prices to lure you to the dealership and then request much higher prices. I was interested in an Acura RDX AWD with technology package that was advertised for lease price of $411with 0 down payment. I called the dealership and talked to their salesman, Dan, to verify the price and availability of the car. I asked him about the lease cost, he said “the price is $411 plus $300 doc fee and the sales tax”. I asked him 3 times to verify the lease price and each time he repeated the same thing since I already own a 2020 Acura and receive a royalty fee of $1500. I made an appointment to visit the dealership to lease the car. I asked him to have the car ready when we arrive at the dealership. My wife and I drove 60 miles from Indiana to the dealership to purchase and bring the car home. When we arrived, they assigned another salesman to show us the car and close the deal. The salesman told us the car is not ready, we waited for half-an-hour and finally 3 people showed up and without showing the car they brought a sheet of paper with $6600 written on it. I asked them what is the meaning of this, they said it is the down payment on top of the monthly lease cost. I told them about my discussion and agreement with Dan, and the lease cost should be $411 plus 7% Indiana tax of $28.77 and a monthly total of $439.77 plus the $300 doc fee. They did not grant our phone agreement and insulted my wife and I. We walked out of dealership. It was a horrible experience that no one should ever experience. We drove 120 miles round trip and wasted a half day.
We had a great car buying experience from Hari! He was AWESOME. He is so sweet, patient, and honestly listening to our needs. He did not pressure me once to purchase a car, went over the process in detail and didn’t play games like other car salesman can be. He respected our time as we had our two young kids in. We drove all the way from Orland Park, IL to look at a used car but ended up buying a new car because of his great customer service. Thank you!!
My husband and I went to get an Acura TLX at the Morton Grove Macgrath. It took over three hours to get through the finance representative, and we were promised by our salesman, Alex, that our car would be fully detailed once it was off the lot. Alex told us he would take care the detailing and I never heard from him. I called him a few days later to follow-up, myself as the customer, and he said something was down in the service area and he would call back to set something up. About one month later, still haven’t heard anything about detailing the car that we purchased…….needless to say, we will not be coming back here for our future purchases.Thanks for your help but don’t make promises you can’t keep. Go to a different dealer and save yourself the runaround. 😒

Took them over a month and a half to get my trade paid off, so my previous lender was calling me with late fees and threatened to send me to collections. No support from Ron on finance or the McGrath “team”. Still haven’t sent me money owed to me for my equity. My new car has plastic pieces missing In the back seat that my salesperson Alex was supposed to order but haven’t heard back, 2 months later. Ron tried to sell me every warranty in the book, which is fine. But after I declined to tried to tell me the sales manager only factored in date tax not fed Tax, but to make it up he’ll include a wheel protection plan and my payment would only go up 5 bucks a month. Aka he was trying to get over on me. When I declined he said he’ll honor the original quoted payment. Granted a lot of dealerships try to rip off customers, but avoid this one if you can.
We had great experience buying our next car inMcGrath Acura of Morton Grove.We chose pre-driven 2018 Acura RDX with low mileage.The price was fair and we fell in love with it immediately.All Acura personal was very helpful and professional.The dealership closes at 8:00 pmbut they stayed until 9:15 pm until we finalized the dealand drove home in a new car.We suggest one improvement to the dealership practices.We were not ready to buy a car that day as we needed a few daysto move money to checking account to be able to paythe full purchase price without financing.Audi dealership offered us to reserve any car, new or used,and buy it a few days later.Acura dealership did not have reservation option for pre-driven cars,so in order not lose the chosen car, we had to go throughfinancing, extra time and hassle that we didnt need.

I bought RDX 2021 from this dealership. It took long hours but my wife and I got out with great satisfaction. Marco the salesman presented the car very well with all the details. For price negotiation, its never a pleasant process for both parties, but Marco and his manager Ronnie were very professional and understanding. Eventually we got the deal we were happy for. There were some hiccups in finance (not because of them) so we all had to stay late. But never did they show any impatience. I look forward to working with the dealership in the future for car services.
I wish i can give them 0 STARS!!! Worst dealership ever for service, I went for a oil change several months ago and they put 0w20 instead of 5w20 and now my car burns this thinner oil,then they forget to put back the plastic covers around the engine and i had to waste another 35 min to go back to the dealership and get those covers.The service advisor was likeOh it`s a typing mistake in the paperwork when i asked why they didn`t put the right type of oil...I Will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN...
Excellent service by a great team! My sales guy Tom Jackolin was superb in how he dealt with us. There was no coercion or persuasion on purchasing. When I told him I drove a Lexus he didnt try to convince me that it wasnt a good car--because we all know Lexus is one of the best. He was honest and simply said that Acura make great cars too and that I should give it a chance, which I did, as I simply had no knowledge of them prior to coming to the dealership. I did a test drive, then Tom explained the details of the car I was interested in, the MDX. Add to it that it was pre-certified along with several other bells and whistles and I got a great deal--one which I couldnt walk away from. Again, no pressure. Simply great sales work from Tom to get me in a car that I love.
The staff was great at the dealership, but the online rep wasted my time by giving me a quote that the dealership did not honor. I was very upfront throughout our chat that I did not want them to waste my time which they did. Dan never responded back to my last text.

It was a pleasure working with the sales department as they were extremely dedicated. Unfortunately, all of their hard work was negated by the rude and unprofessional finance employee.So, we finalized an all-cash offer with the sales department. For this reason, we requested to not pull the hard credit, since it will affect my credit score, and I am using cash only to pay. They agreed and ran an OFAC inquiry to meet the government mandate/requirement. So far so good. We signed some papers, and I was told that I need to bring either hard cash or a cashier’s check the following day when I come to sign the final paperwork. I was told that I would get possession of the car after the bank clears the check, which they told me would be one day. So, I returned the next day with the cashier’s check and to sign the final paperwork in finance office.To my complete surprise, the finance person told me that I would gain possession of the car a week later and not in a day or two. I mentioned that cashier’s check only takes a day to clear and not a week. After being greeted by her neglect for my concerns, I proceeded to tell her that the sales manager told us the previous day that it will take one day before we will be able to pick up the car if we used the cashier’s check. Since we received contradictory information in the finance box, we expressed our concern just to be suppressed with her rude and unprofessional attitude. It felt like we were doing her a favor by buying a car through her dealership. She was not listening to us, and it felt as if we were talking to a wall. She continued to be busy on her computer while we voiced our concerns. On top of that, she talked to us very rudely even when she did respond to our worries. After a conversation that seemed to be going nowhere, we decided that it was time to leave.I never had such an unpleasant experience buying a car, and I felt really bad for sales associate since all of his hard work and time just went down the drain because of incompetent finance person. I will not be returning to this dealership again and will request my friends and family to do the same.

He was honest, appreciative of my time, understanding, and knowledgeable. I also met Daniel, the manager who really wanted to ensure that I was happy and comfortable with the final price and was very accommodating. Aimee from finance was also fast and reassuring. Trading and leasing cars is never a fast process, but the team at McGrath made it easy and as efficient as possible. I will now only lease from here!

Worst experience ever buying a vehicle . First they told us .9% financing . We drove 2.5 hours to find out we were lied to . Then they told us they can match the color for a huge scratch on the hood. We get home to see the color off and it looks like a 4yr old did the touch up. Spoke to the person who sold us the MDX and they said they didn’t have the correct color to match the vehicle . Yet nobody bothered to even tell us this they just did it and sold us the car. Now we have a hood with paint that doesn’t match the rest of the car.
They lacked follow through in their statements in the efforts to make the sale. we traded in our leased car and were told that we will not receive any bills from our previous cars dealer ( which is their sister company). Despite the fact we were told we no longer owe anything, we received one the following week. Later, we were told that there was a mistake by their salesman on the day we traded in our car when he assured us that we do not owe previous dealer anything. Never buying or leasing any car from them again!

I go there for an oil change. They do a complimentary full car inspection. They tell me I need a new serpentine belt. I see that its cracked and worn. I ask them how much. The service guy tells me the discounted price is $320. He lowered the labor cost from our original rate. He also says I shouldnt drive it out of there, because it could snap at any moment. I call an independent shop down the street, ask them to quote for new serpentine belt; parts and labor all together...$93. This dealership charges almost a 300% mark up from the independent mechanic. Needless to say...I took the risk of driving out of there down to the independent guy. Buyer beware.

I went into McGrath to get an oil change for my 2019 RDX. I worked with Paul Tran who ended up selling me other services. When I went to pick up my car the total ended up being way more than I expected. I was shocked and confused why it was so up there. Paul ended up explaining everything in detail and was accommodating in giving me a little discount on the price but it helped a lot. It was a miscommunication on both our ends but he was able to accommodate which was really nice of him. Overall great customer service !
I recently purchased an Acura TLX from this location. Let me say I had one of the best experiences here. Everyone was willing to work to fit the best interest of both parties. Absolutely NO SCAM! I faced such a huge scam at the downtown location but this location (morton grove) was an opposite experience. I spoke to Daniel Harrison and he just like myself was super straight forward with pricing and terms and we got to a positive conclusion pretty quickly. His team was super helpful as well and helped us throughout the process. Ask for Daniel Harrison and you’ll be just fine.
Great dealership. We could not finalize car purchase because of out of state registration problems but we really recommend that dealership. Arby was our salesman and he was so knowledgable. During test drive he performed us all of the features of Acura MDX and was well informed about car specification. Daniel ( sales manager) was so kind and made a really good offer. Highly satisfied!!! My husband has been leasing a 2018 MDX that was due for return in Sept. We liked the MDX but not loved to purchase. Their were some issues with the shifting on the transmission, something about the design that was not smooth. Anyhow we did enjoy the Acura experience and were willing to get into another one if the right deal came along. Im about 40 mins from this dealer but I came across an advertisement that sparked interest. I confirmed the deal was accurate with Sara, cut to the chase, made clear the type of sale I was looking to make, scheduled an appointment and met with salesman Ryan F. Numbers were not what we anticipated but the sales mgr Elson worked with us to ensure we could reach an agreement. Ryan-salesman, Elson-sales mgr and Amy -finance mgr made this a worth while experience. Extra thanks to Ryan for being so detailed and going above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of. We will never forget how you made us feel and for that type of service we will drive the distance.
I drive a Honda, which I bought at Castle. Had an appointment at Illinois Bone & Joint across the street today. Figured Id get an oil change during my appointment and kill 2 birds with one stone.Castle was too busy to accommodate me so I thought Id try McGrath Acura.Not only did they do my oil change but they washed my car, tidied up the inside and i THINK topped off the fuel tank.All for about $50 which is what Castle charges for the oil change.Im a McGrath customer from now onTremendous

Never coming to this dealership again - the service rep would not confirm if my 4 year Acura would be covered under warranty (I would have even taken a statement that the car is out of standard warranty-refused to tell him even I pushed that they had to look up the part to know for sure!) and I had to pay the $90 diagnostic fee in order to figure it out. Well, the car was out of standard warranty (which would been nice to know before I bought the car in because its based on delivery date, so Ive been out of warranty by 3 months) and they wanted to $450 to fix it plus $400 other extended work. There was no explanation of why an automatic transmission flush was needed when the owner manual states this is not necessary unless there is an issue with the transmission (which there was not because it would be under warranty!) The rep was not able to answer me why this service was recommended. When asked why a transmission fluid switch was already faulty (the part that needed to be fixed) and not included in the powertrain warranty, the service rep answered dont know, ask the dealership you bought the car from. I have a very young female sounding voice and I felt really patronized and condescended to during the multiple calls and zero lack of willingness to help from beginning to end. This car actually was almost bought at this dealership as well but I had such a poor experience with the finance department that I walked out and bought the Acura at another dealership in the suburbs. Seeing the transmission light turn on my car, I was concerned it was serious and bought it to the service dept at the closest Dealership but clearly shouldnt have. In fact, based on my experience with this car brand, I likely wont buy another Acura because of the lack of the response from my original dealership as well.

I, as almost every other person, hate the car buying process, but i wanted a new vehicle. I had scheduled a test drive on a TLX with Dan. Upon arrival, Dan handed me off to Hari and within minutes, I was on the road test driving the vehicle. When I returned, Hari asked about the test drive and if i was interested in taking it home, i wasnt. But Haris professionalism, and allowing me to think about it WITHOUT any pressure; I decided to proceed with what i thought was going to be a dreaded pissing match. To my surprise, it was smooth and painless. Hari understood what I wanted, what i didnt want. And never once pushed what i didnt want, but worked to get what i did want. He was transparent with everything. He and the team were great. And thanks to them, I now own a TLX.
Very dishonest/Bait and Switch/RudeAfter seeing an ad on their website for a remaining 2020 MDX AWD Tech for 0 down 425 month+ tax (only plates, doc fee, 1st payment due at signing), I contacted Dan, the internet sales rep, and inquired if that deal included loyalty of which he said it did not. With the $1500 loyalty rebate, he said the payment would come out to $390 a month. Upon trying to negotiate more, he said thats the lowest they could quote over the phone but if I came in their sales manager was trying to get as many deals done as it was the end of the month. I told him I didnt want to come in unless everything was negotiated beforehand and there were no last minute changes when I showed up (this wasnt the first time this has happened with this dealership). He told me they had to get the vehicle at their sister store in Libertyville and that if I came in early, they would be able to get the car delivered to their dealership by the time the deal was signed. I asked him to make sure the car was available to which he replied they had several available. After hearing this, I decided to make an appointment to come in that evening around 7:30 P.M.. He told me he would make sure the salesman had all of our notes about the deal when I arrived so there would be no issues. I received multiple texts from him asking if I was on my way to the appointment to do the deal. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by Nithin who had no knowledge of any details that were discussed with Dan. He brought me to his desk, walked away, and left me sitting there for 15 minutes without ever coming back. I ended up walking out. After I left, I spoke with Elson the sales manager who told me their sister store in Libertyville had sold every single 2020 MDX because the incentives were so good. However, he would be glad to lease me a new 2022 model for nearly double the monthly price. The next day, I contacted Acura of Libertyville (their sister store that was supposedly sold out) and was told from their sales manager they had over (13) 2020 MDXs still in their inventory. Its obvious they were trying to pull a classic bait and switch.I had tried calling the GM 7 times and left multiple voicemails of which have been unanswered.Bottom line- this dealership should not be advertising deals they dont plan on honoring. Its very disrespectful to ignore a customer who just wasted 2 hours going to/from their dealership for a deal that doesnt exist.
Our agent, Tom, was really nice, patient, and professional with us. He wonderfully showed us the features of the cars and we bought the 2021 Acura RDX. We totally recommend going to him!

After a couple of days of back and forth finally we finalized a deal with sales man “Rashad Jackson” and his sales manager “Ellson Yu” great people with great attitude. The finance manager “DJ” did a great job and gave good price on aftersales . And “Josh” The technology specialist did a great job explaining the car and in a very professional way, he found out how we want the setting to be set and by the time we see it the car, the car is customized to our likings. 5/5 all the way
Update:After I left negative reviews on Google, the attitude of the Sales Manager changed and wanted me to put down the review. He asked me to come in to talk with Reny, the General Manager of the dealership, to make things right.I went in at 2:30 PM (Time of appointment) to meet Reny, and was greeted by Rashad, who asked me what I was there for. I told him I’m here to see Elson and Reny, in addition to receiving my 2nd key that I had not received at the time of delivery.I saw Rashad walking over to tell Elson that I arrived, but Elson did not come out to greet me for another 15 minutes or so, when he came with Reny to say hi.Reny and I went in an office to talk about how Reny wanted me to take down the negative review, and asked me what he could do to make that happen.After some discussion, we decided to settle on renewing the registration. This was at around 3:05 PM, where Reny asked me to wait so he can do the paperwork. At around 3:20 PM, he came and said the renewal request didn’t go through and gave me a “We owe you” sheet to contact him in a couple weeks to try again.I said ok, and asked him for my 2nd key. I then found out that the 2nd key didn’t exist and they had to program the key then and there. For the first hour I was there, they had not taken any action to do this, and only when I asked for multiple times they looked for it, didn’t have it, and started programming the key, which took an hour as opposed to 30 minutes they initially quoted. I had asked to get a car wash, which they did, but did not dry it or clean it thoroughly, either (pics attached).Overall, I was at the dealership for 2 hours, of which 1 hr 35 minutes (at least) was me waiting to:1. Start the meeting2. Receive the 2nd key that I was told was ready a week ago.In return, I received compensation of ~$150 registration renewal fee.Would I have gone in had I known this was going to be the outcome? Definitely not.However, I am keeping my word and giving them another star for them trying to make up for my dissatisfaction.Original post:I signed a lease contract for 2020 RDX AWD Base with the help of Elson and Anthony. I was never shown the sticker of the car, and was thus unaware of the MSRP - I drove the car home only to find out that the MSRP that I negotiated the terms ($43K) on was the MSRP for a RDX AWD Tech package, not the Base ($40K). Elson was definitely aware that I was thinking the MSRP was $43K, but never bothered to correct me. On the paper that he used to show me the discounts, incentives, etc., he used $43K everywhere.When the sales associate Anthony showed me around the car, he never showed me the Monroney label.This is the second Acura that I leased from this dealership, so I had trust (1st mistake thinking that they will actually be honest with me) that they will negotiate terms on at least the correct MSRP, and not take advantage of the customers negligence. I hate to say that I am truly disappointed by this attitude. I tried to resolve this via text with Elson, the Sales Manager, but as expected, he didnt bother to do anything else other than keep telling me that the vehicle I leased is $40K - something I now know. I will never do more business with this dealership.For those that are thinking about doing business with this dealership, do A LOT of research beforehand so you wont be fooled like me.

I recently purchased a 2018 Acura RDX. Raffy was our salesman. He was very knowledgeable about the car, personable, and honest. I didn’t feel like he was trying to sell me on the car. Went to look for cars but not really sure what trim we wanted but from the door step met a staff Anthony, changed everything from there. His explanation, hospitality and willingness to go extra mile to get us the car we wanted was satisfying, we closed the deal and drove out with the car. If thinking about going to McGrath... ask for staff named Anthony . Highly recommended
My friend put me in contact with Daniel H. From the sales team, and he was kind enough to reach out to me and asked what I was looking for. I went down to the dealership 30 minutes after my initial conversation with him and he had 2 cars cleaned and ready for me to see and test drive. Daniel is very down to earth and was helping in getting me where and what I needed. Took a car home in less than two hours as well. Painless, simple, and straight to the point.
Salesman was knowable and helpful with all the questions I had. But unfortunately I could not buy the Black Beauty I was looking at. Hopefully someone might soon.
Although I love my (RDK) car and have been happy with service, I look forward to regular car washes. Frankly, compared to other dealers who offer this service, McGrath’s drive through wash is pretty meager: no interior cleaning, no exterior drying. Since COVID, the drive through wash is closed. Why? No one gets in my car. No one even talks to me. So much for the “benefit “ of a McGrath purchase!

We worked with Alex Tanasa and could not be happier with our dealership experience at McGrath Acura. Alex was very knowledgeable on the 2018 RDX that we purchased and he put zero sales pressure on us. During our test drive, we noticed that the steering wheel drifted to the right on its own and assumed that the car needed an alignment. We left to test drive other cars and called back later the same day. We agreed to the purchase, but wanted the alignment done. It was already in the shop being done, since Alex took it upon himself to make that happen. Very impressed. Alex, along with the managers we met, provided a level of customer service Ive never seen at a car dealership. Five stars!
