I would chose a different glass company. I had two guys come and replace the windshield on my car and when I came out to look at it I was so frustrated by the sloppy job I took it to the shop and had them fix what they could. There were major gaps in the molding, misaligned, missing screws and hardware, debris left on the dash and in the parking lot and a sloppy caulk job. When I asked the store manager about the gaps in the molding the answer I got was that because it wasnt an oem windshield it wouldnt match up like the original one. For $480 it should have looked better.
While the people in the office were nice. My vehicle was damaged during the installation. They never followed up with me and its impossible to connect with anyone in the office to get this situation rectified. Boo.
I was nervous to use this Safelite after reading some reviews. So much so, I tried to use Gerber, but they never got back to me for quotes and to contact me to start business. So I went back to Safelite and they came out to me to replace. There was a slight mishap where I scheduled from 8-12 but the glass didnt come in yet so they had to come from 2-4. I was a little annoyed initially. But the technician, Norberto, was nice and professional about it and sometimes this stuff happens. So I let it slide. Norberto came from 2-4 and he found my car right away. I was nervous about the location of my car but he made it work. He was all done in an hour, he transferred the items from my windshield that I wanted transferred. Everything looked great. Norberto was professional, quick, and I was happy with the work and attention to detail.
They tryed to install a non manufacturer windshield, they lied to me about my manufacturer windshield wasnt covered...( it was fully covered by insurance! ) Had to go back three times because they had broken clips during install, and had to re order the parts they broke, month later I noticed they had not reattached another part correctly and my windshield fluid wasnt spraying on glass. They fixed all the problems. But I would not recommend this location, try another first.
This location did a fantastic job replacing my cracked windshield with a brand new OEM windshield. I was nervous I was not going to get the same original jeep glass with the special fritting and hidden easter eggs but they got it! They also took the time to carefully peel off my old city sticker and permit stickers and reattach them to my windshield. They also gave me new strips of 3m clear velcro to reattach my ipass. Those little steps they took made my windshield replacement far less of a burden on me and show their attention to detail. Thank you Morton Grove Safelite team!

The service team is quick and very polite. I went in for a windshield replacement, but had to go back in for repair because my windshield moulding was coming off.They took me in the next day to repair it.But no issues since then.Good location keep it up
Zero Stars !!I would not recommend this place.I made appointment at 3PM Morton Grove location to repair windshield.Work name Paola ( I think I spelled her name correctky) left voicemail on my phone around 11:45 am day of appointment and she told me I had to bring in my car at 1 PM or I have to cancel my appointment.I called back Paola was telling me in very very rude saying replacement will take at least 5 hours i had to bring in earlier. I understand all that my complain was why are you guys calling me 90 minutes before ?This worker was so so rude !! She basically telling me I should of know this work would take 5 hours, and I am the one made mistake by making appointment at that time, also she was yelling and do not wanna help.I asked her if I can talk to the manager and she hang up the phone. I called back she says manager is in the bathroom cant take the call.This was my first time with this location. I had to cancel my appointment.I would not recommend this location. I never had someone telling me this was my mistake making appointment at 3 pm.Bad Bad Customer service. I read past bad reviews and seems like this location is use to bad customer service.
My experience with Steven from Safelite was excellent. He was professional and he did the job fast. Whenever I need a windshield fixed or replaced this will be who I call. This was my first time trying them. I so glad I did. βΊ

I had a rock chip on the drivers side which was not very big. I made a claim with my insurance and brought it in to the Glenview Safelite location.When I got my car back, the area was worse than it was in the first place! The total repair area is extremely cloudy and the exterior finish is not very smooth. I feel this was terrible workmanship and when I spoke to a manager he told me I could pay to have the windshield replaced!DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!
Wish I could rate them with 0 stars. Worst repair weβve ever had done. My partner paid the additional fee to have them come to our house and replace the front windshield a week prior to our road trip.Its been 5 days and we are now 2 states out - the molding has lifted and is flapping around. This has caused the car paint to become chipped and the sunroof glass to have scrapes.Update: the entire molding has come out. Been trying to call yet COVID is their excuse to not answer their phones.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! All the ads in the world cant make up for poor service, rude staff and management and incompetent installers. This company broke the rear hatch of our car, did NOT clean out the broken glass, did not clean the window did not replace the wiper blades we purchased. They were 4 hours late and could not do the job on site. We are still waiting for them to get the parts to fix what they broke! Go to GERBER!!!!
Pretty sure the guy who helped mes name was Hugo...whoever it was he works the super earlies and made it really easy for me to drop off my car. Believe me if youre in Chicago for more than a few weeks you will be needing a new windshield because people drive super aggressively and theres broken bits of highway and pebbles flying off pickup trucks constantly
I showed up to pick up my car and it was dead in the parking lot. When I questioned them about it they insisted they left the battery pack on during the assisted driver calibration. They then were nice enough to try and jump my car, but the battery pack they brought out was dead. probably the same one they left on my car. They insisted they test drove my car after calibrating it. However, if my car was driven for at least 5-10 minutes the battery should have been charged enough for me to start it. The guy at the counter was nice about it, and very sincere and apologized. He notified the manager and the manager didnt really seem to care. they used a van to jump my car.Also now my rearview mirror shakes the entire time I drive. Seems to be a common issue with safelite windshield replacements.
Aside from the call center intercepting every single call, service was great from beginning to end. Professionalism from management to every single tech. They understand customer service and I was greeted with exceptional service by every single employee that I encountered.
Very happy! They helped us realize our insurance would cover more than we thought. Saved us over $400 on replacing our new windshield with the recalibrated sensors. Took just under two hours for the replacement and recalibration. Have a waiting area with soft chairs, snacks and coffee. Very helpful and courteous employees. Not trying to upscale you on every little thing.

I got there and the gentleman in the front desk, Brad, was very friendly and extremely helpful. I was given a time to come back, and when I got there he took the time to show me the work done by David. It was very good work, fast, and overall a great job. There was a part missing before I even bought the car which they didnt have. Completely understandable being they do glass. But they did offer to fix it for free if I got the part. Amazing. And best part, the price I was quoted is what I was told Id be charged. No hidden fees. Definitely recommend this place!

Made an appointment for side window motor for my car. They billed me and then I waited a week for the appointment They called me a day before I was supposed to bring it in and told me they canβt find the part. They said they didnβt have it and they couldnβt get it from the dealer. They further suggested I go to a junkyard but they wouldnβt be able to install it at that point. Then they canceled my appointment. It was most frustrating because they didnβt credit me for the money I paid a week prior until I went in and complained. That shouldβve been automatic when they canceled my appointment. To make it more worse I took it to the Ford dealer and they had the part and replaced it for less than Safelite charged me the same day. The guy I spoke with at Safelite in Morton Grove said they really donβt do this kind of work anyway. I suggested they should stop advertising that they do. They should probably focus on most on windshield replacement. This was very frustrating.

Exceptional, fast and friendly service. I had an appointment for windshield replacement. I was told it will take 1.5 hours. They finished it in less than an hour. Plenty of parking spaces available. I booked my appointment online and was able to use a 20 dollar off coupon. Look for coupons for this place to save money. If you prefer to wait during your service there are plenty of seats available. I didnt wait and they called me when service was done. Very friendly staff. They go above and beyond by making sure my city sticker, ipass and everything is removed and added to the New glass. Love their service and would definitely recommend this place
First time experience with them, and it was great. I scheduled the appointment online, which was very quick and user friendly. Once I brought my car in for my scheduled appointment, I was warmly greeted and assisted right away. I let them work on my car as I did errands for about two hours or so and came back to well finished workmanship. The payment process was easy. The installation looks great. The pricing was great. Very professional and clean environment. I got a great price due to finding a coupon code online and using it while booking my appointment online. The price estimator is very useful on the website. I recommend this location for anyone trying to fix their damaged windows.
I paid for the mobile service fee and had the tech come out to the house. I paid the $17 extra to be the first stop of the day, because we had plans in the afternoon, which is a bit of a rip-off. I docked one star because there is no way of knowing whether you are the only person of the day anyway or already first in the queue, and they dont offer that info up so you could be paying $17 for no reason. The tech that came out was very nice, fast and courteous. He answered all of our questions we had right away. However, after he had finished and left, I opened the doors and noticed he had pinched the door seals under the glass and I had to quickly pull them out and reset them, so I took another star for the tech not double checking the work. Overall I was pleased with the results.
I had my windshield replaced for my mini cooper. The wait time is long about 2-3 hours but the service is great, the employees are very nice and helpful and helped me with all the questions I had, they explained what I needed to do afterwards as well for care.

My insurance company scheduled an appointment on 4-15-2018 for the following day, today 4-16-2018. I received a phone call at 8am telling me that if I didnt have a garage, or couldnt to drive to their location, due to the weather they would have to reschedule. So, you offer mobile service, in a city that the majority of people have outside parking, and are not prepared to handle snow flurries? Seriously? Sorry, but that is a weak ass excuse. If you offer mobile service, you should have the necessary items needed to work in the elements. It was FLURRIES. Thanks for the inconvenience, keep up the great work. They did offer to reschedule for the next day, but I instead chose another company. You dont deserve the money. To make things even more clear, I posted a picture of the massive amount of snow that we received. Note...its not even snowing. The snow stopped at 9am.
Pathetic place, i have order a glass replacement over the phone on 11/15/19 and had an appointment scheduled on 11/21/19 for the installation .Took that long because they had to order the glass out.Got a phone call in the morning of the installation for the manager Henry that he needs my vin number to verify if the glass is correct.Called back later to let me know that they just place the order for the right glass and will take another 2 days to receive..., they will never get my business ever ...avoid, avoid, avoid.
I contacted my insurance company about a crack in my windshield and they sent safelite out to my work to fix it. Turns out it wasnt what I thought it was and I knew this because Brad was very knowledgeable and thorough with his explanation! He was awesome to work with and made me feel better about the situation. I will definitely use safelite services again and recommend them to others!

They are lazy and donβt want to work if itβs cold. Expected me to give them a five hour window and wouldnβt fix a chip in cold weather. Had my insurance switch the repair to another company that knows how to repair glass properly in cold weather and is willing to do the extra prep work.
Made appointment for on site repair while I was working between 12 and 2pm. At 1, I checked in and was told no one was coming and if I wanted it fixed I had to come to the shop. Henry the manager was unapologetic about the error and the lack of communication and stated Id have to wait 2 + hours if I wanted it completed. I ended up leaving work early due to the emergency nature of the problem. The installer, was apologetic and worked quickly and had me in and out as quickly as he could, however vehicle was not cleaned from installation and tools were left in my vehicle that I had to return to the shop.

My back windshield broke out of nowhere a half an hour before the shop closed. There was no way I was going to be able to make it before they closed, but they were willing to stay open until I could get there in order to put on a safety wrap for the night until I could get my car into their shop the next morning. Blown away by their willingness to help!

Great professional service. Email updates with confirmations and who to expect when they get out here. They did a repair for a windshield crack and it was near perfect. You cant make glass look like new after its been shattered but they got close enough so I wouldnt notice on first glance. Not the cheapest auto glass service Ive used, but the little extra you pay for you get in customer service.

My insurance company set up a reference call for me thru safelight at this location but after reading the bad reviews I will call the insurance back and ask them to set me up with a different place. Yikes, you are only as good as your reviews and this place reviews do not cut the mustard for me to give them my business. I spoke with Henry yesterday so I know he is still there. Iβm so glad I read the reviews before I proceeded forward!Also, I called Honda for the price of the windshield and safelite was going to charge me $229 more than Honda for the same windshield with no explanation as to why.

I do not recommend the Morton Grove location - no customer service. All the bad reviews are correct. Henry asked if 3pm on Tuesday would be ok. I asked if it could be earlier since I was leaving town that afternoon, so he said ok, noon. However, the day of the service, I received an email saying someone would text between noon and 5pm. I called to ask about my noon appointment and they would not assist. I left work early to meet them at noon and they never showed at all that afternoon. They never texted or called to try to come fix my car as scheduled. After they blew off that appointment, they blamed me and put me at the end of their list again and did nothing to help quickly reschedule the appointment, not even knowing that rain was coming in the window and molding my car and more rain was expected. They did not respond to any communications via their website or phone. When the next scheduled day finally arrived, their tech left voicemail (at my work - I never gave them my work phone number to call me!) asking if he could come two hours earlier. I left vm saying ok, but heβd have to come to my work, which is just 5 miles away from my home. After the two hours, I called to ask where he was and he said he texted (who did he text??? I didnβt get text) and he told Henry at the Safelite office to reschedule because my office was out of range for their shop. Wait, what?! I agreed to to let him come early to my office because he asked - and instead he canceled my scheduled appointment time at the approved and scheduled location at my home? After much urging, he finally agreed to still come out to my long-scheduled appointment. I pointed out glass sitting in plain sight on a pillow and his response was βI already vacuumed it at the shop.β I cut my hand trying to clean up all the glass that he left in my car. Will not use this company again.

I was very upset with their organization and communication when resolving an issue. I will say they did a great job for my husband for a new windshield but as for me for a patch up a week later it rained a little harder (no hail but almost) and a crack came back! They never told me it may happen and then they told me I was guaranteed lifetime for a new windshield but never said I was CREDITED a new windshield...basically costing me way too much money! So when I tried to bring this up to SOMEBODY it literally took me 4 days! And when I called the manager still had no idea about my situation! Ridiculous...changing companies never going again. If you need a windshield I swear they are great but dont get a patch up...they suck all around....
Iβve worked in customer service all my life and Iβve never seen service as bad as this. First i scheduled to have my windshield fixed at work. The morning of my appointment i got a call saying i had to bring it in to the Morton grove or Mundelin location as they were the only two that replace and calibrate windows on weekend. No big deal i didnβt realize my windshield had a camera in it. Iβll bring it in to Morton grove. They only had a 2pm available but told me the appointment takes 3-4 hours because of the calibration and they close at 4 so if i can bring it in early that would be great. I told them no problem.Saturday morning 10am i get a call reminding me of how long the appointment takes to bring it in early (starting to seem like they want to get out on time) i totally get it. Sucks working weekends i was on my way. I get my car there at 11. 1257 i get a call my cars done but 1259 i get an alert my pre collision malfunction light on my car is on.Hey itβs probably from the windshield coming off theyβre professionals no need to call them. I get my car at 3pm turn it on aaaand the lights on they never calibrated it thatβs why it was done so fast but i canβt stay now i have a family party so i leave. We call and they mention having to pay to have it βre-calibratedβ since they already did it! Nooo way! It was never done the first time. We talk to corporate they say call Monday to schedule a time to bring it back in theyβll take care of it.We call Monday they say bring it in at 315 it will take 30-45 minutes to calibrate! What? I thought it takes 1-2 hours just to calibrate? Whatever i want my car fixed. I bring it the guy at the front gives me attitude like the light happened to come on after i was driving for a while! Nooo it came on the minute i pushed start. Iβm there an hour and 15 minutes which made me feel better like okay itβs actually getting done. Nicer gentleman comes in tells me a part was missing and they took it from my old windshield put it on, theyβre finish up the tests Iβll be good to go.At this point Iβm happy itβs fixed. Exhausted Iβve wasted all this time. I leave in a hurry after sitting there all this time wake up next morning and the screen on my new car that Iβve had just about a year is cracked. Now Iβm fuming. We call to get it settled told by the store manager his team is honest (clearly theyβre not since they βcalibratedβ my window the first time) and they didnβt do it. Also told plastic shatters so clearly there wasnβt any impact to a tool or anything hitting it on there end. Also why did I call Tuesday and not Monday i should have noticed it right away. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Not even my worse enemy. Not only am i wasting more money on having to fix my own dashboard i wasted so much time driving back and forth from Schaumburg to Morton Grove just for my car to get damaged.
The manager should be fired here. I have waited two months for a quarter window replacement for a 2004 XC90 Volvo, and had to do HIS job in order to figure out what the delay was. After doing his job, I was informed by local volvo dealerships that, though the part was back ordered, I could have the part expodited! This wouldve reduced my wait time from two months to two weeks, MAX. This has been a complete waste of time. I do NOT recommend having any type of glass replacement done at this shop. Go through a local dealership and insurance.

Prices and quality are hard to beat
When I had called I was surprised how easy it was to set up an appointment with the lady on the phone. More so, the fact that they had the glass for my 1987 toyota mr2 was such a nice treat. (Parts are hard to find for these cars). But the day they were scheduled to come to my car and repair my glass they had called me and said they were not able to replace the glass because the car is to old and they did not have the staffing capabilities to put the glass in the car. After this I had asked the man on the phone to recommend a shop that would have the knowhow to do this and he responded with an apology and stated him and his manager did not know of any places to replace my windshield. Then, I had asked if he could give me a price. He responded with I can not give you a price, you will have to call the parts department and I do not have the number for them. I am in the survive industry and public relations and customer service is a large part of what I do and I am very certain that if you tell a client the day of the scheduled service that you can not do the work for them, you better have a solution. I.E. you suggest a shop with the capability to replace the window and you find the phone number for the department that can get you a price on the glass. Thats a good method for keeping a client and building a good reputation with them even if you can not preform the service; you can still help them in that moment and have a positive impact.
Got the tech out, tried to repair my windshield, ended up cracking it even more, and the company refuses to replace my windshield when it was their tech to damage my brand new vehicle. They do not even deserve one star!! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE AND NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DAMAGE!!!!!!
