You’d think that the one auto parts store in Morro Bay, a fishing town with a ton of boats, would carry marine lubricants, but such is not the case. Went there on Saturday evening to get some 90 weight outdrive oil as my reservoir was down to the add line and they didn’t have it. I did see that there is a new O’Reilly Auto Parts going in just up the way from Auto Zone. I’m glad as I’ve always been able to get any marine grade lubricant, be it grease or oil, from O’Reillys.

The service is good. But, you need patience... it seems they should hire more customer service individuals.

Employees very polite, they help me to find what I was looking for, in my 3 day vacation my light in my truck when off they help me thank you auto zone

Despite the fact that this fellow was working intensely on stocking the shelves, he instantly stopped what he was doing and looked up the part I needed. He then got me the part and made sure it was the correct one for my auto. Later, I needed his help again and once again he immediately got down off the ladder he was working on and went to work on my problem. He even went out to my truck and retrieved a tricky placed part in order to ensure I got the correct $4.99 part! He was most courteous and seemed completely happy that he could help me.Man, this his is customer service at its finest! I only wish I knew the name of the fellow that helped me.Sterling

This autozone store hires employee that dont know anything about car parts n what they look like or what they do nthe only help they offer is to tell u to look it up on internet then go back to tell them the lot # to where the item ur looking for is located at in there store duh

I waited a couple days to write a review for this establishment in hopes I would have something kind to say, unfortunately the experience was far below unsatisfactory and was quite unpleasant, especially considering myself and the company I was in spent over $200 here on Wednesday July 29th, 2020What should have been a 30 minutes interaction took well over two hours because the salesman chose to attempt to oversell products instead of exchanging a battery that would not work. I simply wanted to exchange the faulty battery I purchased for one that worked. The employee attempted to tell me I needed a new starter or a new alternator, even after the tester battery was able to start my car.Being on vacation, the last desire I had was to spend a couple hours having my intelligence questioned and my requests dismissed. A lack of effective listening, substandard knowledge, mediocre tact, and an undesirable attitude from the employee who completed my transaction are responsible for the 1 star rating.

Autozone is horrible the only time i go there is when there are no alternatives my go to is napa first then oreillys and then somewhere way at the back of that list is autozone seriously though where do they find these employees at its as if they have never even layed eyes on an automobile get with the program or shut it down your an embarrassment to mankind one thing i felt i should add is the manager was pretty knowledgeable but the rest of the staff was clueless but at least he stepped in and made sure that i left the store with the parts i needed for my repair even if it was nearly an hour but i understand that he had to help his customers and clear the long line out as well

The staff here is always pleasant and very helpful. No way I would get this kind of attention in Los Angeles! Theyve installed headlight bulbs for me and other parts just for the sake of being helpful. I basically wait to be in Morro Bay to do anything car related now.

This is the place to go for the do it yourself mechanic or a home repair type. They have the parts and costumer service for your needs. It is hard to see from the road. Its in the fitness works shopping center. Its a good all around shopping for your car and comforts you may need.

Twice in a row I purchased parts for my truck. Different parts each time. The parts were faulty both times! So I had to pay the guy fixing my truck more since he had to pull the part and replace it, again. I ended up buying the parts from another auto parts store. The parts I bought from the other store were both good and the same price!

I needed a gas cap and they were able to sell me what I needed.

I buy most of my auto parts at AutoZone. They will help you install parts like lights, wiper blades, battaries, air filters. They have a free tool borrowing program.

People are very helpful. They will go the extra steps to get you the help your looking for.Example; If you get new wipers for your car they will come out and put them on for you! :-)

AutoZone was really my hero a couple of weeks ago. Was on a road trip with my son celebrating his 18th birthday and my car battery ended up dying and I called AAA who came and started it and then told me I needed a new battery but they didnt have one on their truck so I asked if they had any suggestions and the tow truck driver said oh maybe Walmart in Arroyo Grande could help you but they probably wont put it in. Since weve already been driving a really long time my mind was tired and I wasnt thinking clearly and we made it to our Motel in Morro Bay while I was panicking if we were going to make it alright because the tow truck driver made it sound ominous and that maybe Id make it 45 minutes. Did a little research found out that AutoZone in Morro Bay had a battery for me and not only that if I bought the battery they would install it. Shame on the tow truck driver I had for not being more helpful when its a time you really need help especially if youre not from the area. A very nice young man who worked at the store helped me with my transaction from beginning to end and we were good to go to enjoy the rest of our trip. The store seems nice and clean, the employee was certainly terrific and the whole process took 30 minutes or less

This autozone usually has any part your looking for and that staff is usually pretty helpful. This is an autozone hub/warehouse were they store a lot more parts then the other stores. The only thing that I dont like is that when you arrive at 8:57pm and need windshield wipers really bad and they have already locked the doors. I understand its friday and you want to go home but the store says 9:00pm is when your closed. As a consumer I expect those doors to be open to me till the strike of 9pm

Its a 50/50 chance with the employees had a very helpful younger guy helping me when he needed a managers code he asked the manager an older gentleman who ignored him then after a few minutes said well you didnt tell me why you needed the code.Dont use my time for your pissing contest

If the option of zero stars were available, I would give them a zero.I made a purchase in the Autozone store in Morro Bay and unfortunately the liquid item cap apparently was not on tight. The liquid spilled all over the carpeting on the floorboard of my vehicle and ruined many items. I did not notice the spill until I went to put something else down beside the Autozone item. I immediately TRIED calling Autozone, but after many rings someone just picked up the receiver of the phone and put it back down. They hung up on me without saying a word. I called back and the gentleman that answered the phone was rude when I told him what happened. I told him I was bringing the item back to get another one and he said I could bring it back and he would SELL me another one. He told me it was my fault. He then told me he was going to put me on hold as the store was busy. REALLY?What kind of customer service is this?? NONE!My husband took the item back and was given another one and was told that the store manager would call me. The store manager did not have the courtesy to do that either.Very unhappy with the customer service not only by the employee, but also the manger.
