We worked with J&S through Lowe’s, they came to replace some carpet for us on the stairs, and it was SO fast and looks awesome. They took away the old (tan) carpet and the new (grey) one looks amazing and feels very nice on our feet! The workers were super quick and did a great job, also wore masks the whole time without us having to ask.

From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience with J&S Flooring. Sherri our sales associate has an impeccable eye and helped us select the perfect runner for our NYC apartment. Even before meeting in person, she sent us several samples and met with us in the showroom two times, showing us EVERY SINGLE OPTION, never rushing us or pressuring us into higher price points. Stephanie at J&S was great to work with on our stair runner. She came out to my house with samples based on inspiration photos I shared and one of the very first carpets she selected was the one I ended up with. She was very thorough, detail oriented, easy to work with and responsive. The installation team was fantastic. They suggested several creative ideas on site that added some beautiful detailed touches to our runner. I would highly recommend J&S and will definitely return the next time we need a carpet or rug!

I have been working with J&S Designer Flooring for the past 1 1/2 years. They have helped me update our newly renovated home. Their show room has an amazing selection of samples. The installers take extra care when moving furniture, removing old rugs and replacing new! Sima and her team are true professionals and have been nothing but wonderful!

Had these guys come down today at 10:30 to put down carpet in my basement and I left shortly after they got there to go to a quick employer drug test screening. Made an appointment with Sima to pick out a rug for my new apartment. Even though the pictures of my space didnt really show the colors all that well, Sima was able to pick out a number of beautiful choices. She helped me figure out what size rug to buy for my space and how to organize my furniture on it, and made great recommendations for accent pieces like pillows. She has a great design sense and the rug I went with really pulled the space together perfectly. Never going anywhere else!

We were lucky enough to get the work done just days after making the purchase. Kevin did the installation. We had a carpet runner put on 2 sets of stairs. He was a true artist and absolutely immaculate in his work. All of the patterns matched up perfectly on each step. I cannot say enough about how great my experiences have been with J&S. Helping us pick out the perfect carpet, installing brass rods on our staircase, cleaning rugs, installation, great customer service and most importantly they are the nicest people! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!I spoke to a lovely woman at the front desk (I didnt catch her name but wish I had) and Javid Hakakian. Im a local preschool teacher, and due to COVID restrictions we arent allowed to have a shared rug for circle time in our classroom. I walked into J&S this afternoon and explained my situation. I asked if they had ten 1 x 1 squares they were throwing away. Ten -- one for each student to sit on because they arent allowed to share (germs).The woman at the front desk went into the back office, and when she returned she told me they were going to help me out. She then offered me coffee and asked me to take a seat. Not even five minutes later, Javid came out of the back office with not ten but TWELVE 2 x 1 rectangle rugs. Bigger and more of them?! One of her co-workers even carried them to my car.I am beyond grateful for the generosity the J&S team showed me this afternoon. Great experience. Went in looking for advice - when I showed pictures of my space - they picked the perfect piece. Something I never would have considered yet it was the exact fit - their vision was right on. I get compliments all the time. J&S designer flooring assisted in the selection and installation of wool carpet runners for 35 steps, which included multiple landings on 2 floors. Steven spent a lot of time with the color and selection and his installers were on time, professional, precise, and extremely clean. I would recommend them highly on any job. 5 stars is not enough of a rating. I would say more like 10 stars.

I had an estimate done on my carpet installation by J and S who is subcontracted by Loews for the job. From the initial drawing of the rooms, walk through and explanation of what I wanted, the estimator said it was understood. After that, there was complete confusion from his write up, drawings and objective to accomplish that we confirmed in my house. As a teacher, I asked and confirmed the 3 bedrooms that would be carpeted and what would not be. Loews asked me to clarify because they didnt u understand the write up and drawing layout from J and S and asked if I wanted the living room carpeted. I said no, I specifically told him, no at my house.. After that, I expressed I needed it done before my house inspection. When the date came, they show up saying they only have the 2 bedrooms to do and show me an entirely different drawing. The man mislabeled a bedroom as a FAMILY room which was never discussed and I dont have one and put the one bedroom and its walk in as 2 bedrooms. How do you confuse this?? So now, I am stuck with what I dont want, feel misled, overcharged and left with a room not carpeted with no resolution from J and S. I spoke with Peter on the phone from J and S and he said he would call Loews and no one has gotten back to me yet. I will follow up to get some answers. About, 1,500 dollars later, If I knew it was for 2 bedrooms I would have went with another contractor that charged me much less for the 3 bedrooms I asked to be carpeted.

Went into J&S on Sat not knowing what to expect. My friend, a designer sent me there and I was awed by the magnificent carpets however... maybe I wasnt dressed right or perhaps when I said what I was hoping to spend I was treated shabbily and felt dismissed. What a shame because I would have considered buying the area rug from there but not now.

Recently we purchased a remanent here for our bedroom floor. This was a beautiful soft wool rug with a silk stitch pattern. However, we have a dog and the stitching started to unravel here and there within days. I took a photo and showed the people at J&S. They sent my sales man to take a look and they said it was the wrong rug for our home. They invited us back to pick out something else and we did at no charge. We loved our old rug but our new wool rug is beautiful, too. I wanted to write this review as a thank you for their professionalism.

Because my purchase was going to be a long term investment as well as a piece of art, I did quite a bit of research and comparison.The more I learned and saw, the more I was sure that J & S was the company with which I would deal. Our handmade wool rug was delivered within days by Orlando and Chris. It was laid carefully with respect for my home and furniture. Even when I thought it was fine, they continued to position and smooth my carpet until it was perfect. After replacing my table and chairs the room had a beautiful new focal point.
