I saw this vehicle on the website and called to get some information, agreed to buy the car over the phone and put a small deposit down. I drove from Birmingham to pick it up. When I arrived the car was washed and waiting for me to test drive, really liked the car and really liked the price. The car drove great on the way home but the next day I noticed a couple of small issues. I called and talked with Brett, the owner, he told me to let him know what was going on after I took it to my mechanic. The mechanic told about 2 things that needed attention and how much it would cost to fix them. I called Brett back and told him what was going on and he offered to pay for all the repairs. This place stands behind there products and as a result they take care of there customers. I can’t thank Brett and his staff enough for there professionalism and doing the right thing.

I’ve had my truck a few weeks now… I’d recommend Lakeway. Clean vehicles, good selection, amazing salesperson (JD), had a couple of small bumps in the road just after sale but went in and spoke with Anthony the GM and he not only listened, but also did his best to make it right. I was happy. I wasn’t sure if made a good decision regarding the warranty but… this morning I woke up and started the truck and went in to grab a few things only to return and see water gushing out- my water pump had gone out. Got a ride to work, called the service department at 9, had my truck towed… it really was a ZERO dollar deductible, I was offered a loaner car, and my truck was ready before the end of the day. No red tape, no questions, no hassle. It was precisely what they told me it would be. What began as slightly rocky has become the best dealership relationship I’ve had in my short 48 years. You really do get what you pay for sometimes still.

Definitely would recommend! Very good experience. Everyone is super nice especially our sales guy JD Davis! They gave me a great deal for my trade when I was low balled at other places. If I ever buy another vehicle I will always choose lakeway auto! A big thank you to JD Davis for all his help!

We purchased our first car from here two years ago and that experience went so well, we went back for my husband’s truck. They worked with us and made everything go as smoothly as possible. First of all up most do not think bc they say God Bless to you that they are honest and caring. Because our opinion they are niether. We were told that LA Lakeway would give us a trade in and include payoff. Got trade in which wasnt close to car max offer. We got charged for payoff at the end of invoice. So in reality we paid the payoff of our truck. Big hurry for us to sign papers. Beware read everything carefully. It cost us big. truck was not detailed nor was it certified as they claim they do. If I could Id gave them -5 . Read every line do not trust what they say are on papers. To top it off took to Ford dealership about 5000 to fix trucks mechanical.

I wouldnt recommend Lakeway auto at all. The suv we just bought from them was missing the navi SD card, neither dvd player worked and the driver side inside door panel is busted (which isnt noticeable until I grabbed it to get inside and it gave in). It goes back to where its supposed to but the plastic behind the cover is broken. So weve had to pay for the SD card. We had to have the DVD players fixed and now we have to get a new door panel. All of this would have been easily fixed if the dealership did proper inspection on the vehicle. We should have checked the DVD players so fine whatever but I didnt realize that I needed to check for an SD card that is supposed to come with the car or that the door isnt busted. Not to mention the issues that I personally found when we bought the car that they apparently didnt know until I pointed them out. So that leads me to believe their inspection process is very poor. The staff was nice which is why Im giving two stars. I liked that Corey answered my questions quickly. I expected a good car with regular maintenance issues and so far the 3 issues weve encountered are not regular maintenance issues. Again, this isnt to mention the issues I knew the vehicle already had that I found just by looking at it that they were not aware of.

Yesterday was my first dealings with a dealership to get a car. I’ve heard amazing things about Lakeway Auto and saw my dream car on their website. Discouraged because I’ve never owned anything newer I just wanted to test drive it. Helen met me getting out of the car and was so very sweet and made me feel welcomed. I test drove the car and was ready to leave and ended up going inside just to see if I could get it eventually. She worked some magic and I left with my very first new car and my dream car at that. Stay away from this dealer!!! Extremely Unethical!!!Jeremiah and Wade is who I worked with. Jeremiah was my sales rep and Wade the manager were both talking to me on the deal as I live 3 hours away. Price was agreed on, gave them my VIN and trade in info. They gave me a sales sheet with the prices and we all agreed. Told Wade I didnt want my credit pulled unless we had a deal as I am protective over my credit. They pulled my credit about 3pm on Friday. Told them I would be there about 1-2pm Saturday and to call me could put a deposit down. Many texts thru this process. Get a call at 6:30pm from Jeremiah and he said they sold the truck!! I called Wade and he said there was nothing he could do. I told him he knew the last thing I wanted was my credit pulled unless we had a deal. They admitted the couple that bought it was in the parking lot for a couple hours arguing if they could afford the truck or not. Which means they had the deal worked out with me first and then worked a deal with this other couple. They never mentioned anything about them to me. They also admitted they sold it for a higher price to the other couple.My opinion is if they have given me a formal sales form with sales price, trade in amount, and pulled my credit then they shouldnt go into the sales process with someone else. At the very least give me the first option.I ended up going to another dealer and they gave me $2300 more on my trade in so other than my credit getting dinged, it worked out for me.However, I wanted others to know about this dealerships unethical business practices.

Johnny was our salesman, and we couldnt have asked for a better one! He found the best option for our family, and even cut us a deal! We drove off with a Dodge Journey for less than the original price! They even threw in a better warranty than the original! Its almost as if they cut us a check, instead of taking our 💰!
