I recently purchased a new BMW 4 Series convertible. I can honestly say that it was the single best car purchase experience I have ever had in my life. I’m 56 years old, so do the math on how many cars I’ve owned. When done right, car ‘shopping’ can be fun, but as we all know, not always. Car ‘buying’ is always much more challenging. And sometimes downright awful. Hard to find the model you want, rude or inattentive salespeople. And when I know more about the car than they do – which is way too often, can be super frustrating. And then the time it takes to actually complete the transaction can be perplexing, lengthy and otherwise maddening.I share all this because my experience at BMW of Morristown (an Open Road dealership) was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of all that. It was just terrific! My salesmen (Brian Derosiers) and the sales manager (Mohammad Soheb) were incredibly friendly, helpful, and understanding of my situation and HIGHLY engaged. In terms of turnaround time, my circumstances were odd to say the least. As a snap decision (literally the day before), I decided to buy my wife a convertible. She’ll be 60 next year and I just beat cancer. So, it’s been a rough year on her and my family, but now that I’m cancer free, we’ll begin our next journey with this beautiful new car. That said, my lease to my current BMW was up in 2 days and I couldn’t locate a convertible with the exact features I wanted. I was crestfallen.Now the best part: I know this might not happen every time, but it was incredible how fast Mohammad and Brian located the exact car I wanted, white with red interior and 20-inch two-tone rims. And they found the car in one day. The car was at another dealer, and they located, retrieved, and prepped the car in 36 hours. It gets better. It only took about 90 minutes to complete the paperwork, shift my insurance. It could have probably been even quicker, but I’m kind of chatty. Then Brian walked me through the car and I was on my way. But after he and Mohammad heard my story about my wife and my health, they handed me an enormous red bow for the hood of the car for my surprise, early birthday gift for my wife.When my kids and I surprised my wife in the driveway (I had originally told her that the dealership gave me the car as a loaner), she was brought to tears – the good kind. I cannot say enough about Brian and Mohammad and the BMW of Morristown dealership.

Went for the appointment only to be told that they cannot give me a loaner because I didn’t buy the car there. They should update their site to make things clear and not waste people’s time!
I had one of the worst experiences with the used car department of this dealer. They dont value customer time and try to squeeze money out of you in any opportunity instead of coming to a deal beneficial for both sides. For example, they charge for some kind of car protection you did not ask for and which more than likely does not cost those money.

This is not my first time buying a car but for sure the best experience I ever had. Surprisingly the process was easy and fast and I left on my new X5 in one hour ))Rick is your guy !!!! Of course like any salesman he is trying to sell you a car but you can see he is always taking care of his costumers. I bought the car without test driving it and checking if everything works (it was on the floor and battery disconnected). Thats called TRUST !

There was an “Flat Tires” issue with the car and they corrected it when I communicated with them. Price is little high but no doubt about honesty. I had a little anxiety about buying a new car. I was afraid of getting screwed and paying more than I had to. But as soon as I met AMZAD MALIQUE at BMW MORRISTOWN, that all changed. Amzad was warm and calm and really put me at ease. He was transparent and straight forward and honest about what he could do and what he couldn’t do. He gave me a fair price and even tweaked it as much as he could. I feel that he got me the best possible deal on the price. Then there was an issue with my trade in and he stood up to management for me to make the deal work. I really felt that he was in my corner. He’s also a really nice guy. He helped me move the things out of my old car and he put my wheel locks on himself when a technician couldn’t come fast enough. I’ve had a few questions since and he’s answered right away - even on his day off. This guy is a keeper. ASK FOR AMZAD! You’ll be happy you did.

I was appalled by the lack of attention to detail, as well as the customer service I received here. The car looked as if it wasn’t taken care of well. There were scratches on all four sides of the car, as well as the front right tire. A clear lack of communication between the garage and the office as well. I was told I was going to have a cope of the coverage stapled to my bill when I left, and they said I wouldn’t be able to have a copy of the coverage on it. When the mechanic I talked to, told me I will, so I know what I paid for on the car. I saw people not caring about the they have taken on, or care about other peoples property. Absolutely disrespectful
Ive never written a review before but these people, especially Sean Nastelon at BMW of Morristown deserve praise. The customer service I experienced went well beyond expectations. Sean went so beyond to help me secure the SUV of my dreams. I have been looking for a certain used Range Rover that checked all the boxes I was looking for. I missed the opportunity because they were already in the process of selling it. The sale did not go through to my luck. I live in Pittsburgh. Sean called me late Friday informing me that the SUV was still available. I know the used car market is crazy and that the SUV would sell soon. Sean literally called me at night well after working hours to help me get the paperwork in order so I could hop on a flight the next morning to pick it up. The process of buying a vehicle is usually stressful. Ive done it many times. Sean made the process a breeze. On top of that, the dealership was slammed with business. Sean knew I flew in and had to drive back. He made sure I had a phone charger and that I was well taken care of while he was juggling all his work. On top of that, Sean sent me a text later on in the night to make sure I made it back to Pittsburgh. You just dont see customer service like that anymore. Ive always had a mindset to loath dealerships and have certain trust issues with the industry and mechanics. I always saw it as the cost of doing business. Since I was so far away, without even asking, Sean sent me some pictures of areas of the SUV that he wanted to make sure I knew about. It was your normal wear and tear but Im just floored by the level of transparency he showed me. I dont care where Im at in the future. I could be living in Alaska and I will still buy from them in the future. Im a relationship type of guy. The culture at that place speaks volumes when you deal with people like Sean. Absolutely fantastic.

My wife and I have been researching BMWs and went to two other dealerships (and did a lot of online searching) prior to arriving at the Morristown BMW location.It was their online inventory that initially attracted us to them.I scheduled an appointment to inspect a specific model. There was great communication from their representatives to my email and telephone prior to arriving.Once we arrived we met one of their management team members: Wendy Nam. My wife and I went for a test ride in the vehicle, and returned to speak with Wendy. We have been to multiple dealerships throughout the last few decades and have never met anybody as honest and trustworthy as Wendy. There was no pressures to sell, Wendy treated us with respect and made us feel completely comfortable.As you can guess we purchased the vehicle!We have never met a sales person like Wendy, she is incredible.We were also very impressed with Mark and Carl, they were also extremely professional and made us very comfortable with our decision.We will definitely recommend Morristown BMW to our friends and family, go see Wendy!

Kaitlyn did her magic and had me out in less than 40 min. I highly recommend both of them.

I had an unfortunate experience when attempting to reach a deal today. Outside of the asking price, I was told there are additional charges for “etching” and “reconditioning”. Both costly figures. I’ve purchased CPO vehicles previously and have never paid fees like this. Reconditioning should be absorbed by the dealership in getting the car ready to sell and certify it. Not pass that expense off to the buyer. Or just include it in the asking price.I was prepared to pay asking, all cash and make it a quick transaction. I felt it was necessary to post my experience and warn others if considering a purchase at BMW of Morristown.
Buying a car is often a stressful experience. Dealers like this one only add to the stereotypes. Lets start with over $2000 in fees youll pay to purchase the vehicle. To be fair, all dealers have a document fee. Theirs is just double the typical at $800. VIN etching? This is just another cash grab by the dealership as placing your vin number on all the windows will not guarantee your car would be returned if stolen.Lets move on to actually seeing the vehicle. I spoke with their Assistant Sales Manager, Marc before driving over an hour and a half. He assured me the vehicle was in great shape, ready for purchase. The website even states the vehicle is in excellent condition. This was a used car so youd expect some normal wear. When I arrived I found significant damage. The corner panel had a nice size dent above the wheel well, the passenger mirror was cracked, and last but not least a tire had a chunk out of it. I was offered $50 to get the dent removed and they would consider replacing the tire. I would not be writing this review if I did not call in advance to inquire about the condition of the vehicle. This dealership allowed me to drive all that way in hopes that they could convince me to make the purchase once I was in the dealership. Because...Im already there, right? My suggestion when looking for a car is to stay local as you wont be as disappointed when you realize the dealership wasnt truthful.

I was in the market looking for a car as mine was involved in an accident and deemed a total loss therefore I needed a new vehicle immediately. I liked this 2018 5 series I saw on the site with great miles…clean car fax…and in great condition. I contacted the dealer and spoke with Jayden a sales rep and explained that I was from out of state and needed a car ASAP and he walked me through the online application. Jayden was very helpful and professional throughout the process. They got back to me quickly after completing the online application informing me they got me a deal and to come in that day. Jayden and Ray the finance manger took it upon themselves to call the bank and negotiated the best interest rate for the deal and I was able to drive off the lot with me car that day. I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend if you in the market for a BMW to give them a call and ask for Jayden or Ray.

Their employee judged me and told me “it wasn’t worth his time to run the numbers.” I’ve never felt so disrespected. I just had bought a 2017 BMW M3 from them 6 months prior. They defended the employee and never once received an apology. I wouldn’t buy a BMW from this dealership if it was the last one in NJ. Find a BMW dealer that don’t judge a book by its cover and feel welcomed. The only thing this dealership cares about is making a buck. I hope you think before you purchase from this place. Once the car is sold and gone, so are you!
