My favorite place in Morris!! Peanut butter cookies are so soft they are amazing! Glazed donuts are so good! They have yummy cinnamon rolls and frosted cookies too!

Excellent baked goods! Frequently come here with a group of cyclists as a mid ride stop and love getting a donut or cinnamon roll before heading back for the last half of the ride.

I’ve ordered my children’s birthday cakes from here for a couple years now... I just ordered a 1/2 sheet the other day and I will never again go back. They charged me $65 ahead of time for only a 1/2 sheet then we went to cut into it and it started falling apart. We found icing holding some of the cake together. One side was higher then the other (not level at all) and half of the chocolate side there was the same amount of icing as there was cake. It was suppose to be buttercream and it definitely didn’t taste like it. It had a gritty whipped taste. Absolutely disgusting! My grandmother who use to make cakes and goes to try every bakery she can said it was the worst cake she’s ever had. We had 40 people and after some people (half kids) stopped eating it because it tasted bad nobody else wanted any so we have more then half of a half sheet left. Which will be going in the trash sadly. Normally, the half sheets we order for my kids birthday party are always gone. I’m not sure what’s going on with this business but it’s sad they’ve went up in price (or I got over charged for this cake), the looks, quality and taste have went completely down hill. I also took a lot of pictures of the cake disaster.

Everything they make here is delicious. It tastes like your mother or grandma made it with love. My favorite place for sweet treats ❤️

Went here on a Sunday afternoon, before a paint & sip event down the street, the pastries were amazing, I wish they had donuts but I’m just happy they had some tasty treats left! I will hopefully be back for more! Nice & friendly staff

The bakery opens early so people heading out can stop by and grab what they want from the amazing, and unique selections. Everything is made fresh daily, and the enticing smells can be gotten from a block away. To top it off their coffee selections are simple, but taste amazing. The people who run this place goes to great lengths to make your experience here unforgettable. I highly recommend stopping by.

Of course they have great donuts and cinnamon rolls that are fresh baked from scratch every day. But take home a coffee cake or rolls if you want a real treat. Great coffee. You will notice how friendly everyone is and how many customers they great by name. Since 1974, this has been a Morris tradition. Worth the drive. Right in the heart of downtown.

The baked goods are spectacular. I dropped in because I was in town and cant pass up a bakery. I enjoyed some blueberry fritters and later some brownies. Ill definitely stop back in if Im back in the area!

Unfortunately, staff was not wearing masks. I wont go back if they are this careless with my health. I asked about it and staff told me the owner doesnt make them wear masks. No social distancing among customers, half who also werent wearing masks.

Always a pleasure going into the Morris Bakery. The fresh smells the small-town ambience and great attitude by those that work there. The bakery goods are phenomenal! Even at work when we have out-of-state visitors we always insist on bringing in Morris Bakery Goods and they never fail to impress! No hesitation at all giving Morris Bakery 5 Stars across the board! Decent seating especially in the two little Cubbies upfront looking out on Liberty Street. A true small town gem!

I called ahead, asked for a specific items, arrived and was told they dont make them till October. Then the same lady, who told me over the phone they had the dessert, acted like someone answered the phone. Very dishonest business!

The best bakery. Unfortunately, they really have nothing set out until around 6:30. So it’s very deceiving that they open at 5 am. Don’t even bother going before 6:30 unless you made an order the day before. But after 6:30 one of the best bakeries for miles around.

I called to order a cake for about three weeks from now. I figured Id better order early because Ive heard they stay busy. When a woman answered the phone, I barely got Id like to order a cake out of my mouth, when the woman cut me off and said the owner wasnt taking any more orders, because she was too backed up. She didnt even know when I wanted the cake, nor was she interested. Ill be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

The donuts here are amazing but I have been here 3 times and each of the times they didnt have all of the donuts/patries out when they opened. If you open your store why would you only have 1/2 of the inventory to choose from? Disappointing.
