Ive been a customer of the Stock+Field of Morris since it 1st opened in 1964 as the Big R store. Over the years, as their customer, Ive used them as my main supplier to purchase live stock feed, and pretty much every thing else. The employees and management have been my reason for this choice. They do an excellent job making a customer feel good about shopping in their store. I am glad they are still here in Morris.

Slightly adjusted product line as the old big R store, but way down on inventory. Not much selection on clothing lines. It will take a while to build inventory while deliveries are restricted.

This was one of my favorite stores when it was Big R and the new owners are working hard to bring it back up to the way it once was. Im impressed that they are accomplishing it so quickly.

Nice place to get a little bit of everything. Their working on their grand opening and bringing in new things everyday. Really nice store

The cashiers are extremely rude, a few admitted to being under trained for the job. Everything I can buy here, I can get elsewhere and without the disgusting attitudes of the cashiers. This store should have closed for good and turned into a grocery store. A store we actually need in this town.

Every since Stock & Field took over the store, there has been a steady decline of product on the shelves. You cant even spend money cuz theres nothing to buy... 🤷🏻‍♂️Unless you want to buy animal feed, a gun, or an orange shirt skip this place

Very little stocked. A lot of signs saying stock items were on the way. Clerks were very pleasant.

Their website has not improved. I have only been in the store once since it reopened, but it didnt have what I was looking for. It appears they are trying to cater to the farming community.

How do you hire people to do a job and expect them to walk in and just know how to do everything with no training AT ALL. This place better look for an actual person to call Manager Just because your a bossy POS doesn’t mean you’re capable to run someone else’s business unless they were just planning running it into the ground

Getting better. Slowly filling the shelves with stock. I actually bought something here for the first time in two years.Since R. P. took over, it is getting better. Hopefully in another slow year or so well have our Big R quality back.

Any farm and rural supply that supports the second amendment without apology gets my highest rating. Hard to believe that our governor hasnt tried to drive this Illinois based company out of Illinois! Give him time and your vote...and he will. Remember this and the lock down next election! Heck, maybe ill run against him and hold all my rallies at Stock & Field and Rural King!

Nice selection considering theyre unfortunately closing for good. May God help all of them find employment.

Shelves are basically barely stocked.

The service here is amazing. I come here for most of the things I need. I get my horse feed, and scoopers, and buckets, and wormers from here and have never gone anywhere else after. All great prices and excellent choices.

Loved the store as big R was fine when changing the name but the person that bought it only wanted to close them up it seems. What a shame it is terrible for our community ! So no stars to the new guy !

Still has a shortage on stock but they are still working on getting new inventory in, but yes you can walk in and get basic stuff like kitchen accessories, feed and garden (nothing outside though like flowers and tree)

If youre a bird nerd like me, dig into awesome savings with quality seed with the bulk barrels and save money and weeds without the junk seed that birds dont eat. I paid about half of bagged seed prices (although every brand doesnt fill it with brown millet). Winter is coming and load up with it unless you like to do alot of weed eating 🤪. There is white millet, safflower, black sunflower, shelled peanuts, quality mix and more!

Its sad to see this place go out of business. Ive only encountered friendly staff, and enjoyed finding something new every time we went.

Had a Just Pets appointment for my Mitzi & shopped some great deals! 1st time ever and we will be back! Great place and friendly faces every department!

This seems to be a store in transition. They bought out Big R, and now they appear to be selling off the remaining stock. The prices say reduced and clearance but, they arent all that good. Went inn with a scanning ap and checked prices against other stores selling the same items, no sales on any merchandise of value. Hoping to see some big changes there soon.

Since this place changed from Big R to Stock and Field, it has really went down hill. Empty shelves and they dont have all the stuff Big R had. Wont be going back again. RIP BIG R

Very disappointed. I went in to purchase some Wolverine boots for work and all I was greeted with was empty shelves. They had nothing, I mean nothing! I saw ONE pair of Wolverine boots. Not likely to go back.

When it was big R was great now, as Stock and Field just as good. I shop there often . Just picked up 2 items that no one else had in stock. And was given a better price than most. Top quality place and great service.

Poorly stocked. Its a shame they used to have an excellent selection of winter coats.There is hardly anything now.Really sad.

Stock and Field has a little bit of everything. It is a great general purpose store for those who arent glued to their computers.

The place was much better when it was Big R not Stock & Field. Not much stocked anymore that I frequently bought there in the past and they moved everything around.Have some items we need on the farm, but seriously lacking in that area.Perfect store for city folk who want to think they are farmers

Clean store. . easy to shop. . friendly staff but only a few working on the floor. They had toilet paper when everyone else is sold out. I found a cotton candy maker for my granddaughters birthday next month. This is a very desirable store to shop.

Had to edit my old review.New owners. Selection is much better now. They actually have alot of stuff youd expect a farm supply store to have. Still a little empty, but there is more stuff added everytime Ive gone since the reopening.

Stock and Field has been a joke since they took over. They blame Covid for the closing, but they sucked well before that. It’s no surprise they’re closing. Big R, you will always be missed.

Everything is out of stock there.. Big R always had a great selection of shoes, boots, clothes, pet supplies, etc. Since these guys have taken over, they dont have much of anything. Waste of a trip

We drove all the way to Morris to check out their Going out of business sale. I saw no sale. I could have just went to Blaines here near home where the regular price is the same as Farm & fleets sale price

Overall well spread and placed displays, clearly marked isles, and appropriate items displayed in all locations. I liked how they had some gifts at the checkout which were genuinely good gift ideas for christmas. Hadnt been in since the rename but I think its better than before for sure.

My husband always gets his jeans for work there. Lately theyve been out of his size for a while. We went over last weekend and he found 1 pair he would have been able to use, however no one can use the fitting rooms. We were told to take them home and bring them back if they didnt fit. I will NOT go back! Ill order what he needs online. Bad customer service, some rude workers.

Awesome store. First time I see decent amount of airguns (and they were low in stock) in a store. I had never gone in but it might just be my new favorite store.

They have dropped the Carhartt line, along with several other brands that I would go there for when it was Big R. Prices have gone up, and selection has gone down. Its unfortunate.

Editing review:The new name Stock and Field has brought changes I do not like. Gone are many of our favoeite snack foods and a lot of the selection that there used to be is also gone. Very disappointing, I had hoped it was due to Covid, but nothing has improved.Also, stop having people stalk us when we get flat carts. It is creepy as hell, especially when they dont offer to help 🤣🤣Previous review was a 5 star: Employees are always nice and they have all the chicken things! 💜

They have a great variety of general household goods plus seasonal items. I often find things that I havent seen anywhere else around here. The pet food/supply prices are good for local retail. Clothing prices arent the best but their sales are good. They also carry a good assortment of scrubs and mens outdoor work wear.

Work boot selection is poor at best. No longer have the socks I like. Big R was a much better store a couple years ago.

Its going out of business.They dont have much and what they do have is only a 10% discounted.

Love this place, has a lot of different things and good quality stuff. This used to be a Big R store, so if you are familiar with that store you know exactly what I am talking about. Happy shopping
