Its held up pretty well over the years. Manages to be cleaner and better stocked than much of the mall. Prices are rather inflated though, especially on simple things like mens t-shirts, but thats to be expected I guess.

I’ve never made a review before but I wanted to come on here and say how kind the cashier, Fran is. She was so incredibly nice and helpful when I had a million questions. I just started a new internship and needed professional clothes and was completely tired after a long day, and she was nothing but sweet as she checked me out which boosted my mood x10. Would 10/10 go back again just to have a chat with her.

My mother and I love JCPennys. I really wish we had one in Elkins, West Virginia. Such an amazing store to get all that we need. They have such pretty clothes.

Great store. Its one of the few places left to purchase clothes off the shelf in our town. I think they have a great selection and prices are good too. Things are usually on sale here as well. They have a nice selection from dress clothes to casual wear to spots wear. I really enjoy shopping here.

I didnt buy anything this trip. Only saw one employee the entire visit. This store just seems a little too crowded with displays. Its clean and organized, just way too much stuff for my taste. I prefer a little more elbow room while browsing.

As a man getting your eye brows done you want them done manly. So I went into the salon and the girl who waited on me was named Erica. Very nice helpful lovely young lady. She was the one to do my brows. As this being my first time having this done. She made my first experience non painful! As I was extremely apprehensive of having hairs ripped out above my eye. She took her time with me and made the experience easy. She did an absolutely wonderful job. I will be coming back, also suggesting to some of my other buddies who needs this service done as well to go see her. Thank You JCP salon for employing caring and helpful people.

Older store with one entry to the mall closed off for some reason. Looked at mens clothing but 32 dollars for a pair of non brand sweat pants is out of touch. I would assume the sephora is the only thing keeping this store in business. It is a shame because they used to have good deal on shoes and clothing.

My husband and I went to buy casual shoes. There were lots of options with a terrific sale. Hubby purchased Nikes, I purchased Skechers and the total with tax was only $84!Store was clean and sales person was very friendly.

Purchased suit and shirt for wedding Im in. The shirt was out of stock and had to be an exact order to match the wedding party, so staff ordered it. When it came in, the online store had shipped the wrong model, and unfortunately the online store was sold out of it by the time the wrong one came. The staff tracked it down at another store in the region, waived the shipping fee as it was not my mistake, and expedited order to my house so I would have it Staff were very friendly and understanding and handled the situation well.

A reasonable supply of clothing. However for the women who prefer high rise jeans, straight leg or bootcut, youll have to go to Amazon to find those. Apparently these things simply arent carried by normal retailers.

Friendly service. Love the clearance section! Some great jewelry pieces in a vast price range so theres something for Everyone. Organized and I love that I can pay my bill in-store at the register! I also love checking out the Sephora store thats inside JCPENNY. They have some great products,too. But ladies I warn you a lot of their new seasonal fragrances are floral. (Not my taste, but still quality products)

Slow no one at the registers

GREAT DEALS at JCP today!! The store was fairly tidy and organized (considering the massive clearance stock in just about every section of the store. My one complaint would be that my friend and I made the exact same purchase, only at different registers, she paid $3 less than I did. They had the same tag price and came from the same shelf.

I visited the salon today for a haircut. Jo did my hair. She was very good and I highly recommend her.

The store is very well stocked and well staffed, lots to choose from and the Sephora is a nice bonus.

Went in just to browse, had no intention of buying anything, I got lucky and found a pair of pants and a top both of which were on sale so I was a lucky duck today.

Neat shopping options but customer service is average

I picked the wedding ring for my wife here. The sales person was very knowledgeable and found a lot of the designs wanted to see because she saw what my taste was; saved me enormous amount of time looking at jewelry I wouldnt have liked anyway.

Great for Mens clothing...and about the only one with a varied selection in Morgantown.

JcPenney is a retail store that offers clothing for everyone in your family, a good selection of footwear, towels, curtains, bedding, kitchen electronics, luggage and theyve recently added appliances and Sephora make-up to their lineup. You can shop online or if your like me and want to try things on before you purchase them, you can shop in the store. This is one of the last staple stores in our local North central West Virginia malls so shop, shop, shop!!

The return desk was confused and it took three people to complete the operation. Generally helpful staff and good merchandise selection. Nice having a real department store left in the mall.

I normally dont shop at JCPenny until recently and I have fallen in love with alot of items from there. But I will no longer shop there due to being harassed by multiple employees. 3 to be exact. They discouraged me and my sister for trying to use coupons on back to school shopping and called other employees telling them to not let us use our coupons. It is a coupon that had multiple uses, could be used in store or online 2 times. But we were only allowed to use the coupon 1 time. We ended up leaving most of our clothing there due to the disrespect of the employees. I am very highly disappointed and honestly feel disrespected and targeted. Might call corporate.

They have clothes for tall, fat guys. Two thumbs up.

I was looking for a plus size formal gown, I saw quite a few of them on their website. When I went to JCPenney they only had 1 plus size gown. This is very disappointing.

JCPenney is a store which always offers us with good deals whenever we shop. They frequently offer in store as well as online deals. This Morgantown store is located in the mall which I think is a main attraction to go to the dying Morgantown mall. This Mall is not extending, rather dying. Sears left, Belk left. A lot of empty store locations waiting to be rented by some saviors; I guess. JcPenney is still doing business here and I want this store to continue as long as possible. Store employees are courteous. Plenty of space inside the store with multiple dressing rooms. I would recommend this place.

Bad service....not organized. Couldnt find our past sales receipt on our JCPenny Mastetcard. Went to Ross Park JCPenny as instructed from store Manager, then no one could come up with a copy, we were then accused of stealing by one of the Store Supervisors becase the Sale came up non-returnable.

Its Lowes. You go there and you get Lowes stuff, and it doesnt disappoint. You want tools.. Supplies.. Whatever... You go here, and they have it or get it. Forget service or anything whiney.. If you dont know what you want when you go in, you dont belong in the presence of its magnificence.

Went in, got what I needed at an excellent price, checked out by smiling and most helpful clerk, who had to go check a price for a tagless item, left with a smile on my face after staying way below budget.

The associates working were really nice and helped me find the things I was looking for.

Department stores in Morgantown are dropping like flies. Penneys has a pretty good selection and decent pricing. Hope they can hold on.

I liked everything in the store and very organized BUT I thought the customer was always right? Well I went to buy a frozen doll that said $9.99 on the sign. The cashier said that it is 15.99 because the computer was always right. Okay so we walk back to the dolls again to show her the sign, she takes down the sign and says it’s 15.99. We were wrong... the sign was right there! Rude staff! Or at least the lady we were dealing with. Will not go back.

They have added a Sephora in store. It (store layout) is a bit crowded, but it is nice to have more offerings and one-stop convience.
