I was honestly intimidated to go into Kassar -- Im a bald white dude from Indiana . . . I have no Mediterranean ethnic experience. But a recipe I was trying required Paneer, & the only place the carries it in Morgantown WV, is Kassar.I took some time to look around the shop; lots of spices, general middle eastern items and apparel, and coolers for perishable items. The proprietor was super nice and helped me find the Paneer I needed. Prices seemed reasonable. I noticed that there is some enticing Baklava and other sweets at checkout that I will need to try next time.

I’ve been going here since I was little. The owners of this business are awesome! So friendly :) they have a pretty big selection of groceries and other things as well. I’m sad that they don’t prepare food anymore but I still enjoy getting their baklava and kanafa.I highly recommend shopping here.

Mom and Pop business. INCREDIBLE selection of supplies (only place in all Morgantown where citric acid was easy to find in large quantities for cheese making). Everything was very fresh. I ordered food from their case to eat in, and oh my goodness. I normally dont like hummus, but this was by far the best hummus Ive ever had. I thought I had had a falafel before, but their falafels were absolutely the best thing I had. Fresh, truly crispy breading, with the BEST flavor. Im bringing my family here soon. One of the best kept secrets of Morgantown!

I have been shopping for years and I stop frequently, even for one item. I like browsing through the shelves and talk to the owners. They are nice and always in a good mood. They sell a nice variety of indian frozen meals and african spices. Love it!!!

Love this place! Very friendly family owned place with Mediterranean and indo/pak spices and foods. Has a frozen section, some fresh produce, and fresh meats to order (usually on Wednesdays). They have made to order dishes that are amazing! My kids love going there and look forward to the neighborly hello and candy the owner gives :)

Great place to shop. A little cramped/packed. Great selection of foods. I usually pickup a couple of yogurt drinks and canned Mediterranean foods. Great selection of meats but a little far from home for me.

Its amazing how they can have so many products of such variety in a fairly small space. Lots of Turkish and Indian specialties, and many other Middle Eastern, Asian, European, and even some African products. Extremely kind staff.

I go to this store to buy mostly staple ethnic food. From Indian to Middle Eastern and Island staples. Not much Asians. I love this place they sell delucious Shawarma and indian snacks. They sell fish and lamb and corn beef plus cassava. Delicious Dates from Middle east. Check them out. I Recommend.

Kassar is the only grocery store in the area that stocks halal items. The owners are very nice and they have a nice range of Mediterranean, Pakistani and indian grocery items in store.

This place is small comparing the amount and variety of things they keep. A good place for the local Muslims for grocery shopping.

Groceries are super expensive to the peaks since that is the only Grocery store in Morgantown WV. Never expect to have good/types of veggies there, cause they never have those much varieties and even few they had were damaged.If you would like to buy Halal Meat probably you can get those from here but that’s not fresh that is frozen, they only cut the meat on Tuesdays I think.

Overpriced items as they are the only store to sell halal grocery in the town. Nevertheless, if you depend on halal foods, they are the only option to get halal meat.
