I would have loved to eat here this morning. Stood in line waiting to order for 10 minutes looking at a Saturday only menu and that was the only menu available on the counter. She couldnt find an actual menu for what would actually be available today. So I left. Having menus available with what we can actually order would be helpful if you want business... waitress lost her tip and you guys losts some business.

Coffee didnt have much flavor and burritos were good but small.. $26.00 for 2 lattes and 2 burritos.. I try to use local businesses but Ill be checking out another place..

Cute space, very convenient location downtown. We got two iced lattes with oat milk, extra shots in both. The oat milk they use was good but the espresso tasted a little over extracted, or maybe the roast is a little too dark.

Met family in Morganton and needed a place to grab a quick bite before traveling on to our destination. We stopped in at the The Grind Cafe and we were not disappointed. The special for lunch was chicken or steak quesadillas with home made pico. They were awesome and everyone was so friendly. This place is an awesome place to stop in for a quick bite and dont forget their great coffee!

Arrived for lunch and only had four sandwich items available due to lack of staffing. I know the staff was doing all they could but cannot say we enjoyed our dining experience.

Dont come here for food. They have a whole lunch menu but only serve whats left in their display case, which was a soggy sandwich. the avocado was completely brown I couldnt finish it because it was entirely mush.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were very impressed. Everything here was delicious from the coffee (I think my dad got a white chocolate latte) to the smoothie to the burrito and ham and cheese bagel. Very cute little place.

Delicious food, great atmosphere but the portions are small. We had the breakfast burrito and the veg omelet. They were small plate size.

My wife and I took a little mini vacation to Morganton to get away and this Coffee Shop was the perfect breakfast spot! These Loaded Biscuits and Gravy were SO good, and the coffee was good too! Would definitely recommend you check it out!

Mind blowing homemade food, daily specials with local, seasonal, ingredients and locally roasted coffee. Add to this an upstairs music venue, and a great wine and beer selection, and youve got one of my favorite local spots. Whats not to love?

Came to this establishment looking for a good cup of coffee and was completely disgusted by the lack of regulations that are mandated STATE WIDE due to the ongoing pandemic. Wearing masks is the LEAST we can do during this time, yet this place seems to have zero concern for the well-being of their employees and their customers. Will not be returning here.

First time visiting. Got the pastrami sandwich. Really good and steaming hot with an ice coffee. Great customer service as well!

I love the atmosphere and quality of food and drinks here, but when I went yesterday they were not enforcing the mask mandate for customers or employees. I personally think employees at least should have been wearing masks. As much as I love this place, I will be waiting until COVID is over before returning. I personally think its too small a place for no masks and that just makes me uncomfortable. Cant wait to go back when everything calms down! 😁

The Grind easily has the best mocha frappe around! One sip and POW with flavor. If you like the taste of ground ice, try Starbucks.

I’ve been going to the grind consistently ever since online learning became the new “norm”. They have always been more than hospital to myself and fellow students. Not to mention the top of the line quality in all of there foods and drinks. I will continue to visit in when I’m home! Thank you for all y’all do!

Love this coffee shop. The atmosphere is so warm and earthy, and the employees are friendly. The espresso drinks and desserts are delicious. This is one of the best things about Morganton, NC.

I wont be returning!! The coffee is good but the food is mediocre, overpriced, and the blonde manager is so rude I left in shock. They are not enforcing the masking mandate which is illegal statewide, and we nicely asked the girl working the register to put a mask on (its the law!! And a simple request!). She shook her head and didnt say anything, but the manager turned around and said if we have a problem with her choice we should leave. So we left and wont be going back- whether or not you care about wearing masks the manager was so so rude and I dont think Ive ever had a worse experience at a restaurant.

Their service is Excellent and their Espresso is really good as well .

So sad to see none of the employees wearing masks. I chose to get my coffee somewhere else. An employee asked me if I wanted her to put on a mask. By that time she had already breathed on me. The person preparing the food did not have a mask. This is a cute eatery. Sad, it appears to not be following recommend guidelines and safe practice where Covid is concerned.

My favorite coffee shop. Ive been to alot of places, and to a lot of coffee shops, but the grind is easily my favorite. The atmosphere is great, the staff is even better, and the coffee is the best in town. Im a regular and have spent more money than I probably should there; and will continue to do so. They also have great live music and delicious food. Dont hesitate to stop by!

NOT ONE OF THE WORKERS WORE MASKS! When asked not only did the manager refuse to make her employees wear masks, but also became incredibly rude. I have never seen a manger treat a customer with such disrespect. Her employee was equally mortified by her repulsive behavior apologizing profusely to us. If she is that disrespectful to customer, I can only imagine the evil her embarrassed workers suffer. Please do not condone this abuse with your money.

I always like their food but not a good customer service experience today. Young lady tells me they were out of bags and then tells me to strap my food in with a seatbelt. Places food on counter and proceeds to walk off while I continue to finish my purchase and take my own receipt from printer. Not good at all. 👎🏾

Not a bad place for a good coffee and love that theyre in Morganton. I didnt eat anything while there, so I cannot fairly comment on the food. However when I left, my clothes and I reeked of a food odor. Wish they could cook with something different or ventilate the room better.

Very friendly service and the best coffee drinks in town. Breakfast is fast, good and original. Try their nutrition blend or a cafe mocha for an afternoon pick-me-up. Plenty of healthy options at Lunch.

All the workers are extremely helpful and nice. Ive always been able to get a delicious coffee. Theyre buffalo Chicken sandwich is to die for. It takes a little while to receive it, but In my opinion its worth the wait! 10/10 for service and the help! This will be my new frequent coffee place.

Stopped by swinging through town and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Had the Pig in the Grass and the ratio of meat to bread was perfect. None of that 90% bread and 10% meat. Also serving great coffee!

Grind Cafe is an above average coffee shop in that the grab and go snacks, and the food menu is great, the staff is wonderful and welcoming, and The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. The coffee drinks are plentiful, though my only concern is the espresso drinks are not as consistent as Id like, and are often way above temperature. Milk occasionally burnt. But they are still good and I highly recommend. Infinitely better than Starbucks, and probably the best in Morganton.

Eagerly waiting to go here bc I live a couple of counties away. Finally made it couple months later and the blonde cashier working at 3:41pm on June 5, 2020 sucked the life right out of the experience. It wasnt even a big deal that lunch stopped serving at 3pm. She never offered anything else the establishment had to offer and rolled her eyes. If she didnt want to serve us, she made it clear. Friendly tip, be careful who is the on the front face of your establishment, businesses need customers with positive experiences to survive. I left empty handed with a negative impression. I will NEVER plan with family over a couple months to drive a few counties over to visit this establishment again.

Perfection is what the grind has accomplished. Warm trendy cafe with above standard quality lunch options. The coffee is top notch and the vibe of this historical building welcomes you to pause and enjoy the moment. Looking forward to attending a live music event.

This is one of the most lovely coffee houses I have ever been to. The food is fantastic, the people are friendly and the the shop is peaceful. I love going there on rainy days and relaxing with a cup of coffee. The live music there is also always amazing. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

This little corner coffee and sandwich shop is a little more upscale than you would find else where in Morganton. Not to say that it is fancier, but it is a little higher quality. The coffee is good as well as the food and service, the atmosphere is comfortable to me. It only lacks a little cushioned chair in the corner. I will be visiting more when I get the chance.
