Though they did not have exactly what I was looking for, overall it was a good informative visit.

The store is nicely stocked. They had everything we were looking for. The sales associates were helpful, kind and very polite. My issue was as the cash register the associate named Shay, was so dry and not very nice. She seemed so miserable to be at work. She didn’t know how to honor our coupon, which was given to us by our baseball league. Good thing another associate helped out and honored our coupon. If you are so unhappy where you work... get another job. Thank you to all the OTHER associates at this location for making it a pleasant store.

I buy my work shoes here and they always have what I want at the price I want. I almost bought their on sale 299.99 12 Guage. I might get it Saturday, its increasingly hard to resist a great deal. 😁

I waited last minute to get soccer supplies. When I arrived at the store, parking was a breeze. When we walked in, we were greeted by an employee, the store was clean and well organized. We were able to get what we wanted at a reasonable price and quickly checked out. I definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for sporting goods.

My boyfriend and I were in because we’re preparing for a huge road trip so we went in to get a few things. Never in my life have I owned hiking shoes and two employees were so nice bringing multiple shoes out; ESPECIALLY SKYLER 👏🏽 She really went out of her way to bring me more colors out! I know how working retail works and how annoying it could be somedays, but her and the other girl, whose name I didnt catch, were extremely kind :)

Went to Big 5 on Sunnymeade on Friday evening. I was looking for some Columbia Hiking Boots. I have severe issues with my feet and have to wear custom made orthodics in my footware. Unfortunately, their inventory of my preferred Columbia brand was very limited. Two womens styles and one mens. I tried on all they had but they didnt have my size in any of them. I tried on several pairs of Hi-Tech boots as well. It was closing time and I left without my orthodics! The evening manager was slightly rude when I came back to see if I could look for them. I asked if I could leave my number so they could call if they found them. He told me to come back the next day. I came back Saturday morning and the young man, Patrick, and the manager then on duty, Justin, were most kind and patient with me. We found my orthodics and I stayed to find and purchase a pair of tennis shoes. Ive had a couple of less than pleasant experiences at this particular Big 5 and, were it not for Patrick and Justin, this would have been a two star review! These two young men should be given a raise!

Even though I didnt end up buying anything from this store, because I couldnt find the shoes that really fit my feet well, I give 5 stars for the customer service. At other stores, I dont get help getting shoes. At this store, the associate that assisted me was very patient, polite, and helpful. He was willing to go back multiple times to bring shoes from the storage room for both me and another customer. He also checked the prices when in doubt. The store is also tidy and well organized. It was easy to find products.

Well I was in the market for some hiking boots but apparently this Big 5 only has one chair in the whole store some one can sit in to tey on shoes.After I was rushed in my selection to let someone else use the chair it killed my whole shopping vibe.I waited as patiently to try on other pairs but apparently the other customer was more important and so afford to stay in the chair to tey on as many pairs as he wanted to....Big 5, just not the place for customer service or consideration.One chair in the whole store??!! Seriously???!!!

Every place I had gone to look for water guns did not have any and said they were done for the season. The ones I ordered online were expensive but cheaply made. And I was having difficulty finding E-Z up canopies. I had bought a Walmart brand which ripped the first time it. Found both of these at big 5 and other summer and water toys that I could not find any place else.

I love this place because they had weights and lifting benches when I got there during this covid times.

Great store that is still standing for any of your last minute outdoorsy needs! Grab and go. As opposed to ordering and waiting.

The ads they send you show more good deals then what they actually have in the store. Or theyre out of it but they dont have that type or they didnt get it sent to them so even if the ad is good the Big 5 you visit may not have the item you want sometimes I think they do that because they want you to buy something else at a higher price. Lets face it most of us dont want to have to go from store to store regardless

I like that I can count on Big 5 no matter where I am (Recently, I was competing in San Francisco & Big 5 had what I needed) They are a small store with a lot of options for many sports, but they are consistent in their inventory. Their prices are reasonable & their sales are generally unbeatable.

They only sell extra wide and double wide never any medium widths available. Its like store that sells shoes that other places cant sell.
