If you are interested in buying a pair of tall boots, I highly recommend Dressage Extensions. The representative I worked with was very knowledgeable and engaged.I had trouble finding a pair of tall boots in mens sizes online and so, on the recommendation of my trainer, I contacted Dressage Extensions about custom boots from Petrie. Gillian Sieker with the Retail Team assisted me through the process of taking the leg and foot measurements and selecting the materials. I liked Petries Sportive model since it zips from the back and Gillian endorsed that preference. She recommended that I go to the nearest Dover Saddlery shop for extra measurements which I did. After Gillian received the measurements she offered extremely valuable input on tweaking the measurements to ensure that the fit of the boots was right. Gillian sharing her personal experience in selecting and breaking in a pair of tall boots was reassuring.As the photo shows, I bought a great looking pair of boots. I ordered a cavesson from DE, it arrived and the product was completely defective. I alerted customer service that I wanted the $25 postage refunded as this wasnt an issue of fit, it was an issue of them sending me a defective product. So far no response. Ive been shopping here for ten years, but wont be back.

Got my first set of dressage show clothes at Dressage Extensions. Brought me about 30 pairs of white breeches to try, white pants aren’t easy for women! So helpful, knowledgeable & patient, the service was amazing. I went back to get a browband for my bridle. As I shopped, they put on the browband and cleaned my bridle. I have loved all my purchases & I absolutely love the shopping experience at this lovely store.

Andreena was amazing! She demonstrated knowledge about fit, stock and show needs for my daughter. She took the time to find exactly what she needed and fit well. The customer service from both Andreena and her colleague was exemplary. Great place to shop!

Quality dressage gear

I fell in love with this place the moment I walked in the door. Every beautiful thing I could ever need in one place and the employees were absolutely welcoming. So happy I found this gem of a store.

Customer service could be better. A lot of lip service without follow up if there is a problem with an order or return. Have been dealing with them for about a year. Multiple calls are made before anything actually happens if at all (for my last experience). I have also found that they are not willing to check stock and follow up to see if they actually have what you are looking for after they gather all the information. However, there are at least one or maybe two people who actuatlly are helpful. Good selection but you can usually find it for a better price somewhere else.

PURCHASED A GIFT FOR MY DRESSAGE FRIEND IN THE NETHERLANDS. CALLLED THE STORE AND ASKED IF THEY SHIPPED INTL AND WAS TOLL ABSOLUTELY. I ORDERED 2 ITEMS, A STOCK TIE AND A SILK SCARF. THEN, THE NIGHTMARE BEGAN! I WAS CHARGED FOR FEDEX INTL EXPRESS SHIPPING BUT THEY SENT IT REGULAR USPS, WHICH TOOK NEARLY A MONTH TO GET THERE; WHEN IT GOT THERE MY FRIEND WAS REQUIRED TO PAY $60 TO PICK UP THE ITEM; TO TOP IT ALL OFF THE STORE DIDNT PUT THE SILK SCARF IN THE PKG., DIDNT MARK IT AS A GIFT AND DIDNT SEND ME THE INVOICE FOR THE PURCHASE. BUT, THEY CERTAINLY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR THE PURCHASE. I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH PPL SO EMPTY-HEADED IN MY LIFE; I CALLED THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE IN MAINE AND NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. THEIR SALES PERSONNEL REFUSE TO TALK TO ME AS WELL AS THE REGIONAL MGR. I SPOKE TO THE FORMER OWNER OF THE STORE AND HE TOLD ME ABOUT THE INVESTMENT COMPANY THAT HAD PURCHASED DRESSAGE EXTENTIONS; DOVER SADDLERY. THEY HAVE NOT HEARD THE LAST OF THIS YET.

Found a great double bridle on sale! Let me borrow two bits to see how our horse accepted them... for two weeks! So happy, every time I visit them they never fail to have what I need. Yay.

Been shopping here and on line for over 5 years. Conclusion is that theres a 90% chance there will be a disaster somewhere in the shipping, order, or totally subjective return policy. (The manager herself decides if shes will accept any return or not). Customers who are never wrong are former Olympians and trainers with big followings are always right). People that Jill Waterman, manager, doesnt like always get screwed. Try this company if you want to waste your time, money and honesty.

Attempted to place an order online. Had issues with applying a gift card, and after 2 phone calls to the company ended up placing an order, but the order came up with twice the number of items that we wanted.I called a third time and told them I wanted to place the order over the phone. The retail operations person I dealt with was rude and seemed put out that I even had questions!Products are good, customer service is awful.

Awesome place to get anything needed for dressage/equestrian sports. Folks there are tremendously helpful, and the quality of their merchandise is excellent.
