Like their sign says: eat real, not fake! Lol great taste, service, space! Ate well, will definitely go again!
Good New York style pizzas. Very large in size. Friendly staff who are accommodating and can provide baby seats if required. Plenty of topping options and pizzas with sauces provided if you want to add something a little extra. Ability to have two different flavours on the pizza. The pizzas are fairly large and one is enough for a couple. We liked the basic pepperoni pizza the best out of what we ordered.
Nice pizza served by friendly staffs. Food is definitely fresh and tasty, but I wouldnt wait in queue to dine here. The fact that there was no draft beer option was so disappointing. The restaurant was packed with people and super loud that I couldnt even hear my mate sitting next to me. It closes early at around 22:30.
This place is a hidden gem. Found it just by walking around exploring. The BEST pizza Ive had in a long time anywhere. Id love if they had one stateside so I wouldnt be missing out. So good and great staff. They are all very pleasant and courteous and fast. I went alone and I was treated so nicely by the waitress and she even gave me a sweet nickname. Then later I brought a friend just because. Definitely a place to eat time and time again.
This place is is one of my all time go-tos. Highly recommend. Owner trained in new york and hires foreign staff so it is extremely english friendly. If youre looking for legit US style pizza definitely try it out. Have eaten pretty much the whole menu and theres not a bad pie across it. Never had any of the pastas however. They usually look pretty good though. It can be a little pricey but if youre looking for a great meal or to impress your friends with your cool restaurant sense give it a try. Also there can be a huge wait so show up early.
Great, truly NY style pizza. Love it so much. Building is not wheelchair accessible.
Really chewy, crunchy crust 😋
The pizza here is even more authentic than the States in my opinion. And you would have to pay so much more to enjoy the same pizza in new york. The regular size might be small for 3 male eaters if they want to plentifully enjoy the pizza. You can also mix half and half. There are foriegn waitors so there wouldnt be any problem ordering. Any pizza is delicious here if you enjoy salty and crusty American pizza. It might be too salty or cheesy for an average Korean.
The pizza topping was too soggy! Bazil pesto pasta was not fresh and tasted like some wet paper.
Good customer service, great pizza, even greater garlic fries. Seriously try the garlic fries
Great place if you are looking for a break from traditional Korean food and you want a taste from home. Polite and friendly staff.I definitely recommend the classic Margarita or New York cheese. As satisfying as devouring a pizza with loaded toppings is, I feel you end up hiding quality/taste. If you can make a simple/classic slice well, then you dont need any extra frills. The quality stands out for itself. Overall, right balance of sauce to cheese ratio. The crust was thin and crunchy. The slices werent greasy at all, it tasted wonderful, and it passed the fold test.
Crispy, thin crust. Reminded me of Rays in NYC
Expensive but good. The owner was really sweet. We wanted marinara for our pizza but the servers didnt understand why we didnt want ranch 😆 so he hooked us up with a side of sauce to dip our crust. Sauce is some of the best Ive had in Seoul
We was there at peak time, staff was very friendly! Noticed our name and inform us to wait 10-15 min. Gave us the menu for preselection and Just 5 min later we had a nice table on the window! Pizza came fast even the restaurant was totally packed! Can recommend The Godfather & Peperoni Pizza! Excellent taste, crispy, yummy! Thanks
Excellent authentic pizza
This place is great all around pizza. Its flavourful, they make a wide variety of pizzas to cater to Korean and Western tastes, and they really value the customers (and have both Korean and westerners working there so you can order in weither language). If theres a waiting line, the host will give you a menu and take your order so the pizza will be fresh out the oven shortly after youre seated. They also serve sangria, which is pretty uncommon in Korea, and its delicious! Ive been back 3 times, and each time I think, dang, this place is awesome! Highly recommend.
Could be a little hard to flag down staff. Pizza was good. I would go back to try some other types. I liked the crust. Though I dont get swept away with feeling like I am back in NYC having pizza. The pizza we ordered had a ton of jalapenos and garlic. Probably relates to the culinary sensibilities of most Koreans, though not your average New York slice.
The staff was pretty nice. Ive got a hair on my pizza slice and they were willing to rebake the whole pizza again, if we didnt mind waiting. If you dont like thick crispy crusts than this is not a place for you. Although there were many people in line waiting to get their tables. It was very busy in the evening.
Good NYC pizza to try to here in Seoul. The prices are not that high just good enough for anyone. Also the staffs are very friendly.
Pizza I had is rather italian style with thin crust, the taste is great!
If you want real pizza in Seoul, check this place out. They have foreign staff and English menus, so you dont have to speak Korean! You can order any pizza as half and half, so you get to try more flavors in one! Looking for a taste of home? Found it.
Delicious pizza. Not cheap, but worth it. Hard to find pizza like this in Korea.
I went to this place almost as soon as it opened and I was so happy I could have such American pizza in Korea--the salty greasy one!You can order half and half to try different flavors. I also recommend their french fries with garlic! Every single friend I took there just loved this place. Go to this place if youre craving for some non-Korean (sweet....with corn and stuff) pizza.
The pizza was absolutely amazing! Felt like I was eating actual New York pizza
The staff is friendly, the place is nice and much choice. Now is my opinion but the pizza is not my style, it was writed that the chef got many Italian certificate, but the pizza in Italy is completely different (and way better in my opinion.) This pizza is really American style, so it wasnt what I expected.
Good pizzas, probably the best Ive had in Seoul, but unfortunately we could still feel a lack of salt. Although salt was provided so we were able to fix that. Prices were decent for a restaurant in that area. Staff is friendly and speaks perfect English.
I can’t count the number of times we’ve visited this spot. Good pizza is hard to come by in Seoul, and this has become our go to.Among the different variations, I recommend the pesto chicken for a pesto pop in your meal. My friends swear by the sides (like the fries!).Usually not too long of a wait on weekend nights.
Used to be one of my favorite pizza place in Seoul. Usually very crowded. Generous toppings and good quality cheese. For me the dough’s too hard to bite. Garlic romano fries is a must have menu.
My family has been going to this restaurant for many years now and a must-place for my daughter whenever we visit Korea. If you crave for original, delicious fresh baked pizzas, then you must try theirs. One large pizza is enough for two diners, and you can actually order half/half. The price is a bit high but totally worth it. Expect to wait in line on weekends since it is tucked in Gangnam district.
Im from Chicago where we know pizza. And Ive had enough New York pizza both in New York and outside of it to know a good slice when I taste it. So imagine my surprise when this little Gangnam shop served the best New York pizza Ive had outside the States! Perfect crust and olive oil drizzle. We inhaled our slices. My friend ordered margherita with added pepperoni. I had a slice with grilled chicken! Staff spoke enough English for us to get exactly what we ordered, but it was no-frills: you gotta know how to order water and soda, etc. We happened to be next door to a BTS pop up shop too, so people watching was a lot of fun. 10/10 would return.
Really enjoyable pizza! Great topping options and no issues with our lack of Korean. Worth checking out for a Western food fix.
Great place, cool bilingual staff, good pizza, though a bit pricey as all pizza is in Korea. Ginos in Itaewon has nicer crust in my opinion, but the pizza here is definitely NY-certified legit! Been there twice, will go again soon Im sure
Great pizza. BIG pizza. Excellent service. Tables a bit small and a not enough space between tables.
Loud. Sticky tables. Close proximity with next table. Thin crust, crunchy pizza. Very good pizza. Nice variety of toppings. Reasonable prices for Gangnam area. Not good selection of beer.
Hands down, this is the best, most authentic American style pizzeria that Ive experienced in Korea. The service is friendly, the views out the floor to ceiling windows encourage people-watching, and the food is absolutely delicious. The price is a bit higher than you might expect, but all of the ingredients are imported from the USA. I dont regret paying a bit of a premium for a premium experience.
We tried this place after multiple recommendations. Wouldnt you know it, but they were right. Not only is it reasonably priced for great pizza, but the servers are nice, and the selection is incredible. On top of the tasty pizza, they have a small, but good, selection of beer, including Dead Guy Ale (although the beer is a bit expensive; Dead Guy was 10,000).
Used to be one of the best pizzeria in Seoul. I had revisited after many years, it still has decent pizza but not impressive as I had this earlier in my life. Sad that I have to leave this review but hope Brick Oven comes back with new recipe! 3.5 but rounded up to 4 stars.
Great pizza. Actually tastes like a proper American pizza. If you want a taste of home this is where to find it.
Delicious authentic style New York crust pizza with the korean toppings twist. I ordered the cheeseburger and potato pizzas and loved both. Was tempted to get plain pepperoni.
The best to have American pizza in korea
Excellent pizza. Nice crust and great flavours.
Quite possibly the worst service Ive ever recieved in Korea. I asked for 2 sprites to the lady worker who wasnt Korean and when we recieved soda waters I asked them to be swapped. I understand there could have been a miscommunication but she decides to go back to her work colleagues and rant about me thinking that I wouldnt be able to understand. The ranting didnt stop until we decided to leave. I was recommended this place by friends but what a disaster. Would not recommend.
Really great flavor, price is a little high, but in Seoul this is very common for foreign food.
Lived in Buffalo, NY which is known for best pizza and wings for awhile and the taste does not disappoint. If you miss the buffalo wings back in the states, by all means try the wings. Great vive and packed with people.
The best pizzeria, I have ever been to so far. I think, you will definitely find the taste of original New York pizza at this place.
Good pizza and decent brew selection. Hawaiian pizza is legit (though its ham instead of Canadian bacon), as is the Trio (meat lovers)... but the veggie pizza was a bit bland.
Bad service waited no1 came to place my order, behind me a Korean couple entered was offered water and order was place immediately. Pretty packed place 1/4 full. 10 mins latter I left for not being served. Even looked at the guy for service. Very bad!
Good pizza
Great pizza and very kind service.
Best pizza in Seoul!
Nice pizzas and wings. Fantastic lemonade
Great food and atmosphere, definitely recommend if you want a more authentic taste of New York pizza
Delicious pizza. Truly Western pizza. Youll love it, go!
Amazing pizza
The best pizza in Korea. Orgasm for your taste buds! And the staff are super friendly.
I’m from New Jersey. I would say this pizza is average at best. I was kind of disappointed that you can only order a medium or large. I was eating alone and would love to just have a slice or a small individual sized pizza.
Music was so lauded. Pizza was great♡
One of my favorite pizza places in Seoul, really great and tasty pizza. Would recommend.
Thin, crispy pizzas baked on wooden pan. The atmosphere can gets too noisy on a crowded day though.
Nice pizza spot in a little food alley in Gangam, not the most authentic in style, but fresh toppings, nice sauce and think crust make for a nice pizza outing!
Pizza in korea sucks in general. Hard to say if you could call this ny style pizza but better than other korean franchise pizza places. They need to be more generous with the cheese tho.
Awesome pizza. One of the best Ive had in Seoul. Great location and friendly staff.
Pretty good stuff. Wont disappoint.
Very nice and cosy place; younger audience; half-half pizza for 2 persons can be recommended
Worst, most overrated pizza in seoul. Spent 30k won for a 2 person size pizza, crust was over cooked, couldnt even bite it, so hard. Taste was so average, dont waste your money
The pizza is outstanding and the service is amazing. Probably the best pizza I have had in Korea.
Pizzas here are good and I also like the side dishes.
Delicious pizza but the staff could be more attentive and friendly.
Delicious food, friendly service and reasonable price.I recommend it only if you are hungry :-)
Good pizza, takeout available, English spoken well, fast service. Four stars only because of the price.
The best pizza in Seoul (of the places I have visited). They keep it simple and do it well
Really light and tasty pizza! I enjoyed it.
The food: The pizza was pretty good however as a person that lives in NYC, I think it is not exactly New York style pizza. Also I had their lemondae which was quite sweet and I had to add some water to it.The staff was very friendly and is international. This is a really pupular restaurant in Gangnam frequented by both Koreans and foreigners.
Stick with the New Yorker!I love this place, but as the old saying goes, if it aint broke, dont fix it. We tried the ranch chicken pizza and what a disappointment that was!
This really is the best American tasting pizza in Korea. A bit salty for my korean wife but PERFECT for me the korean american. This place is really good. I give you my word that this place is real and its not a fake review like so many ive seen and made me waste my money. I ate two kinds and one with a slightly thicker (NOT THICK CRUST) crusty meaty pizza was much better than the slightly thinner crust meaty pizza. both were still good.
Best pizza i had in Korea, a bit pricey, but definitely worth it
Try the pesto chicken pizza! Pepperoni was okay
