Couldnt get help from anyone. There were plenty of employees, just none that knew where anything was. Couldnt even tell me general direction without looking it up. They had to check a price because something wasnt labeled. Instead of simply walking to look at the product, they stood there looking on a store device. Ended up not buying it because I was tired of waiting. 1st time at a Menards & I wont go back. Walmart has happier & politer employees 🤦‍♀️.

My advice to anyone wanting to shop here....go to Lowes! You can use your % off in store without waiting for a rebate check in the mail!! Employees not willing to help you, and RUDE Managers! At least at Lowes or Home Depot they hired trained employees for their dept.

Found this price and took a picture to go order. Rang up at $399, now not a big issue but basically they spent 20 mins trying not to give me the price, checking it twice and telling me thats not the price they found on the item. Like Im gonna lie and edit a picture for $20 acted like I was stealing the store. Horrendous customer service. Finally with them standing under the item with the price shown they seemed resigned to give me $20 back. No apology, no smile just ring it up and a sarcastic have a nice day...

When you spend winters in AZ, you will miss Menards. No other home improvement store comes close to having the selection of goods you will find at Menards.

I was harrassed for not wearing a mask. They did not even care if I had a medical condition. The cashier ran my items though and told me next time should would not check me out. Now I understand why I shop Lowes and Home Depot.

The staff is usually helpful when needed but if you can help it dont let them load your materials with the forklift.not the most talented and they claim no responsibility for damages. Other wise pretty good about returns as well.

Be very very carful, the pricing on the web site and the price in the store are different. I saw med sized moving boxes on line for $1.28 and when i got to the store they were $2.48. And this was not the only item that off. i could make a list but i dont have all day, im in the middle of moving.

Why is it every time I come in to menards I cant get into the garden shop door. I was there a 10:30am today. Im handicap and I have to get back into my car and drive down to another door.

To get someone to help find an item was impossible. I looked for my product and could not find. Asked employee in a group of 3 employees where they were and i was just at that location and asked for him to bring me there and he would not. Very very rude.Update one week later building and outdoor shed. Since Menards gives no mind to my shopping needs i am going to Home Depot where someone is going to be with me the entire time. Thanks for driving me elsewhere.

We called from Menards in Moorhead to Menards in Fargo to see if they had the screen door that we were looking at in Moorhead. They said that they did. So we paid for in Moorhead. Then went to the Menards in Fargo. When we got there they had two but sold them. Even though I had paid for it in Moorhead. The salesman in Moorhead said that will pull it and all we would have to do is show them the receipt and we would be able to get it. Well we drove all the way over to Fargo to pick up the screen door. Well guess what when we got there they said that they had two and sold them to someone else. So now we have to wait till the 25th of April to get the one that I paid for today, April 17th. So I am not happy with your service.

Menards is a great store. They literally have everything and anything you would want or need. I like that they keep the lumber stored outside. They have come along way with their online ordering and pickup. It really is very easy and if you know what you need its all ready for you when you get to the store.

Friendly and helpful staff, and its one store that always has what I need when I go there.

I called to see if they had a filter for my SHOP VAC and the employee I spoke with on the phone searched the system for the model number I had given him and couldn’t find anything. He then asked another employee and they asked what brand it was and I told them SHOP VAC. He and the other employee left me on the phone while they went to check the isle and must’ve forgotten to put the phone on mute, as they made fun of me amongst themselves for telling them the brand was SHOP VAC.First of all, whoever it was I spoke with, if you’re going to work at a home improvement store, you should probably have a bit more knowledge of what you sell, and more knowledge of brand names, at the very least.Second of all, if you’re going to talk smack about a potential customer, try a little bit better to hide it.I am totally disgusted. Hope your life gets less miserable and you can treat the next customer who calls for help with the same respect I treated you.

Menards always seems to have what I need and has multiple brands to choose from. They have been a great source of all things, from hardware, appliances, lumber and tools. Tonight it was an electric weed trimmer, and we picked up a few candies and a extra shower curtain. Always friendly people.. today we spent our rebate money on more treasures for our condo. How wonderful.

Bought a stove from Menards, will NEVER buy another appliance from them. Its a Whirlpool and is apparently missing factory stickers including the one which is supposed to have the serial number on it. Glass in the door blew while cooking Thanksgiving dinner, oven is only a few weeks old. Menards wont do anything, pins the blame on the manufacturer which I can understand, problem is manufacturer also wont do anything without the serial number that is missing. Now I have a broken stove in my kitchen with no warranty.

I love Menards, go there quite a bit. However, this time the cashier had the next person behind me all rung up before I could get all my items in the bag, and the customer was grabbing for her receipt before I had mine...I wasnt slow just had a lot of items to bag. Would appreciate being able to get thru without being so close to the next person behind me. Especially during Covid. Thanks!

If youre having the typical experience at this location and there is no one available to help you out with something or point you in the right direction, theyve come out with a new feature. All you have to do is take off your mask! Almost immediately employees show up out of nowhere to assist you! (;

So I went in tonight needed a couple of large items. Forgot my mask...made it all the way to the back of the store before I asked a younger associate where I could find what I was looking for. His response was rather snide and judgmental, he did not answer my question he only said do you have a mask? When I responded I did not he said you have to leave the store or you can purchase one at the front counter. I said I would go get one from the front counter. As I walked to the front counter I was approached by another female associate moving with a very aggressive speed in my direction using a slightly louder tone saying sir sir you need to have a mask or youll have to leave the store. I informed her I was on my way to customer service to get one and instead of walking with me helping to facilitate me getting a mask she walked away. When I got to customer service I was waiting to pay for the mask at the register when the gentleman at the customer service counter made it a point to come tell me that I need in a mask which was waiting to pay for before I put on. Yeah I made a mistake I forgot a mask. By the time I had paid for the mask I was so mad that I almost said the h*** with it and walked out. If I had not needed the one item for my weekend project I would have walked out. At that point time my experience was going to be bad no matter how nice anybody was from that moment on. I may never step foot into your store again just because the way I was treated over simple mask. Yes I was wrong for not having a mask with me. But the disrespectful way in which your staff spoke to me I will never give another dime to your store. Treat people with respect. its just a mask.

I like this Menards store mostly for its location near my sons home, when Im working on his projects. I found the staff to be helpful when I had questions. Even on a busy Saturday, checkout was quick and efficient.

Didn’t have a mask on me. A cashier asked me to grab the individual ones that were being sold. I very nicely complied. At that moment a manager (I’m assuming) walked up and chewed me out. Even after I clearly explained that the cashier had already taken care of it, and that I had a mask in my hand for purchase already, she persisted to “rant” and chew me out aggressively like she had a personal vendetta. I don’t appreciate the behavior at this store. The employee was somewhat loud, and several people stopped to watch. Embarrassing for me, and even more embarrassing for the employee, and the store.

My local Menards always has exactly what I need. I shop there frequently for bird food and various other needs.

I love menards. I grew up going to Menard everytime we had to do a project. They almost have everything a person could want. Almost all stores are set up the same. So no mater witch store i go to. I know were everything is .

I was passing through a few weeks ago from Canada and bought a product. When I got home I realized that an important component was missing for me to use the product. When I called and presented the issue, the staff went above and beyond to put me in touch with the manufacturer to get a replacement piece shipped to me.The staff in store the day I bought the product was helpful and polite. The management team that assisted me afterwards was beyond compare. I cant even begin to express my gratitude or describe the level of service.Thank you!

I had bought some self-stick floor tiles and the team member that sold me the tiles had suggested a way how to install them because of the way that the old tiles were, they hadnt been replaced for quite some time. It is nice knowing that the staff at Menards are always willing to help and suggest ways to get the job done.

Everything went as expected but a fellow customer barked at us for being 5.5 ft away instead of the 6ft rule in place for the covid crisis... however it wasnt Menards fault for his rudeness. Great store!

Always has everything I need

Needed to special order parts to replace missing caps on lawn furniture, employee had looked this up for us. Went to the service desk to order the parts and without even looking it up the guy told us it couldnt be done. Makes me wonder which was the case, couldnt or wouldnt, especially since it had been looked up and we were referred to the service desk. We have always shopped solely at Menards but now we need to maybe try the competitors. Very disappointing.

Menards, my favorite place to go when looking for one item, shop for an hour and a half, spend 200 dollars, and forget to get the one said item.

I will not be going back! As a person with a health condition I was told to leave because I am unable to mask. Both the employee and the manager were very rude . I was discriminated against because of my condition and will no longer be spending my money there.

Nice place, clean, organized, friendly people that try their best to help even if they don’t know much about the topic. I’m not sure what everyone is crying about. They don’t hire someone with 30 years flooring experience to work in the flooring department. They can’t afford to hire a master electrician for the electrical department. Sometimes you actually have to know what you want before you go looking for it. Learn to use YouTube and google and get over yourself.

Bought what was supposed to be a 10x12 Backyard Creations steel roof gazebo. Ended up being 8x10 and the netting so loose that it’s useless to keep bugs out.Worked with the manufacturer to get new netting because we could live with smaller size as long as it keep bugs out. After two week wait we got it and same issue.Went back to Menards to see about refund or return and they refused to do anything since it’s out of the box. This was not a cheap gazebo at $1200 and product did not fit description.The manager told me if you are buying a larger item from them that needs to be taken out of box and assembled you can’t return it there even if it’s wrong product or broken. Advice to you anyone reading this is get your backyard/patio items elsewhere because Menards does not stand behind what they sell.

Menards is a nice store that has almost everything. The employees that I had contact with were very polite and helpful.

In all honesty The only positive thing that we find with this Menards is that it is closer to where we are compared to other stores. But on that note, we actually take the time to drive to the other stores. Why? For one, every single time we are at this Menards it is almost like the employees are non-existent on the floor. We spend most of our time looking around for an employee and its beyond frustrating. Second is the pricing. We find things expensive when compared to other businesses. Also I cant speak for corporate level or even local level management but it appears they dont support the military. I know there are other stores such as Lowes that do offer military discount from my knowledge this Menards does not. So I would highly recommend Lowes to all those servicemen and women out there in the area. To be honest I would say the main reason is the lack thereof Personnel on the floor for assistance.

Great pricing and selection but the lack of available staff and help is frustrating. Took me almost 20 minutes to get someone to help take down a cabinet I wanted to buy that was on the second level shelves. When I did finally track someone down they had attitude about it. Id rather go to the competitor and pay more and receive better service.
