Not one to complain but 27 Oct 2021 breakfast was horrible. Eggs were cold, hash brown was brunt all the way thru same for the sausage, gravy was cold... The bacon cheeseburger was over cooked, bread just fell apart... We ate what we could, paid and tipped them... I believe Ill take my business to Grandys... Positive side, the ice water was cold.
Burgers, fries and strawberry shakes were good. The diner is decorated super cool and takes you back in time. Our server was friendly and helpful.
This used to be a great place to eat at but has gone downhill. I stopped in for my lunch break. Drink order taken, 10 minutes later, I had watched two other parties walk in after me and have their food orders taken. I left because I didnt want to be late from my lunch break. It will be a long time before I go back, if ever.
I ordered the big breakfast with sausage and bacon, hash browns, Bisquick and gravy two eggs over easy. The eggs wasnt on the plate and the gravy and biscuit was cold when they brought it to the booth. I waited for the eggs and finally got up and knocked on the kitchen door and the waitress can to the booth and I asked if she could see what was missing from my plate and she said she would go get the eggs and 15 minutes later she said they would be out shortly so I got up and left.
I love the Boomarang Diner in Bethany. I wish the Moore Diner was a lot more like them. Walk in today for lunch, wasnt busy, but all the available tables were dirty. Sat down and when served had to ask them to wipe the table. Ordered, served, had to ask for silverware, order not complete. Overall terrible service. I think I will stick to the Bethany diner.
As their slogan promises, good food fast. Better than mere fast food, this chain offers a variety of diner-type dishes. Friendly service too!
It was really good food. Though, they were doing some sort of car show event, so the wait was a tad long. Other than that, though, it was awesome and I will be going back.
Ordered a meal through door dash! Didn’t have mash potatoes so they chose fried okra for my 11 month olds. Didn’t get a $17 chicken fried steak and my only option was to drive up there and get it. Why did I spend close to $100 for something I could have drove to and pick it up. Whole point of delivering is me not wanting to go get the food and willing to pay for it!!
Came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning, my wife and I. We ordered the Pancake Special (2 pancakes) and the Western Omelette with biscuit and gravy. We only received one pancake, and no biscuit; the waitress promised to get them quickly BUT she never did. And we never got a refill on our coffees, either. Normally Boomerang is better than this, at other locations, but this one totally blew it.We wont be back.
We came in for dinner and had a disappointing experience to say the least. They were pretty busy which we understood initially - but the communication from our server was awful. We had to wait just a bit to get greeted and to get our drinks which was okay (maybe 10 minutes or so), - but then two tables that sat after us both ordered and received their food before we even ordered. We waited for 30 minutes to get our order taken, and then had to wait another 30-40 minutes to receive our food. When the food finally did come, the burgers werent hot enough to melt the cheese and the tots were cold. We understand wait times from the kitchen are not the servers fault, but she didnt communicate with us and when she apologized for the wait, she said yeah we didnt know the wait would be that long until after I put your order in - she never told us directly about the wait time, we overheard another server say it. When we mentioned that the food was cold and that this made it hard to understand the wait time, all she said was We saw that they didnt have food under the warmers and that they would give us a discount next time. Will never come back.

Neat little restaurant that has a somewhat nostalgic classic Americana feel to it. The food is classic American diner cuisine. Service was prompt. Overall, a nice change from your average fast food joint.
This is a tough one for me..the service is usually really good, and the food is awesome...but the portions are inconsistent. Sometimes I get 7 nice size pieces of fish, sometimes 5 tiny pieces. Sometimes when we sub fries for hush puppies we get 6, sometimes 2...and how can a place with all you can eat fish on Fridays run out of lemons? Like I said, food is sooo good (Boomerang is the sole reason this northern girl now eats catfish), but you never really know what youre going to get. Tonight I was given the equivalent of half a small fry from a fast food restaurant.
I’ went thru the drive thru ordered biscuit and gravy and bacon egg and cheese biscuit and we’ve been waiting at least 25 mins and we are stilll waiting urrg
The last few times I’ve been here has absolutely been a horrible experience. There has been maybe 1 or 2 tables that where cleaned off and about 6 that needed cleaning. It took forever (10 mins) to get my meal on order and another 10-15 for it to show up. I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs with a water with lemon and the steak and hashbrowns where burnt to a crisp. The steak had a odd taste to it and was black. The breading was dark brown..I didn’t eat hardly any breading.. there was oil setting on the outside of the gravy from the steak. I didn’t get my silverware for another 5 mins after I got my food. I had to ask twice for my silverware and the lemons I ordered with my water. I will definitely not be going back any time soon. At least until I find it’s under new management. It used to be great but it’s not managed properly right now. I didn’t ask them to remake it cause I was starving and had to get back to work and didn’t wanna wait another 15 mins for a new meal they would probably forget about.
We usually buy burgers during their Monday (1/2) Price nights and sometimes the thin beef patties are burnt on occasion. This time I decided to try something different along with the burgers and chose to add a Frito Chilli Pie w/ onions to our order. When I got home with it and opened the container, I was less than pleased. For the price I paid for the Frito Pie I couldnt believe what I was seeing. It only fit in half of the container and thin layers against the bottom of the container with Frito Chips, Chilli and a pinch of chopped onions on top. I paid an extra $0.79 for that pinch of onions. The picture will show full context of what Im trying to say. Hope they do much better so I can update this post with a much better one in the near future.
This place used to be great. On a Sunday, we waited more than an hour for our food. They brought out two plates, out of five. Half of us ended up leaving. Definitely will not be going back to this location
Restaurant was completely full. Service was good. Food excellent -- Ive never had bad food at Boomerang. Its all great.
Our waitress was very nice and attentive, food was great and so was the coffee. Even being short staffed the service was quick.
Unable to run cards had to type in the number. Food subpar. Staff was ok. Take out they forgot an item and made me wait to verify I ordered it before they would give it to me.Do not recommend

It was very busy on an early Sunday morning (8:30am) w/only one waitress. Never did get a refill of coffee. Food wasnt anything to rave about. Eventually another waitress showed up but we were on our way out. Probably wont come back. They need more help.
I would say the burgers are about average. Fries are okay. Not a place I would be dying to go back to, but better than most fast food burgers
So came for 1/2 price burgers and asked if their were any exclusions and was told no….however, they update the add one by almost double and when I told him what I wanted he did not inform me. Not to mention the dbl. is a 1/2 burger that is normally on the menu as being $7.49 I believe and my dbl. was totaled at half price of $3.94. On top of that the bacon is normally sold as a $.99 add on was charged to me on “half price” burger day of $1.79. So I wanted to just make a post dictation showing that it’s not actually half price based off of their normal menu, so that’s false advertisement along with the fact that they up charge you almost twice the amount for “add ons”. I like boomerang but to be honest this really makes me not want to come back just on the position that it is not what they say it is. This is why small or family businesses are getting singled out and why people choose to buy and companies like McDonald’s etc. and get what they thought they came for.
Food is good, but seems like they cant manage to get all my food in the bag on my to-go orders. So far its happened twice and not always the same item.

I had the KV burger and fries, my boss had a breakfast. Both were excellent, both orders were prepared exactly as ordered. The service was also very good. I will have to find more excuses to go into Moore so i can eat here more often.

Old fashion diner experience. Desperately needs milk shakes added to complete menu. Burger, fries, milk shake, girlfriend and 1950s music...must be heaven.
Do not go to this location. I placed an order for Togo and show up at the said time and I’m told it would be another 15 minute wait, I see they are busy so I said ok. After all this waiting I receive my food cold and my hamburger patty was burnt to a black crisp with the wrong toppings I didn’t even order. Thanks for wasting 35 minutes of my time and making my food not even editable.
Called in an order to pick up. Came inside to pick it up and was treated nasty by what looked to be the head of staff who was also training new members. I used to love coming to this location but after I was treated so rudely and had to wait 35 minutes for a eggwich sandwich that I never even ended up getting I will never be back. I truly hope y’all get back on track because y’all used to be the bomb!! You’ll end up waiting for a half hour on a drink if you order it here.

Lousy service. Has to go find a waitress everytime we wanted something. They never considered asking us if we needed anything. Someone needs to train these 2 ladies when we ate there at 6pm on 7/17/21. .help help please train your employees to wait on your customers. Please. Ron south
My family and I came in today and wow! We won’t be back. Every table was dirty. We cleaned our own table to sit down and waitress brought over a rag and soaked the table and our menus so we had to wipe up again. She took our drink order and we ordered fried mushrooms and cheese fries..30 minutes later and still no food and our cups were empty. She was bringing everyone else’s food out that got there after us. I guess I was looking quite irritated at this point cause another waitress, Rachel, asked us if someone had taken our order yet and we said nope and she said i am so sorry I’ll get that. We ordered and she brought out the fried mushrooms and fries. Offered plenty of ranch and once again apologized. Another 30 minutes later and no burgers and after a hour still no refills. We had enough and got up to leave and rachel said oh I’ll go get your ticket out of the back. The “other” waitress tried to charge almost $40 for food we didn’t get. I said excuse me we didn’t get our food and looked at our table and scuffed like she was irritated with us. Rachel said oh you didn’t get your food! It’s back there I’ll go box it for you to take. Okay. So I paid, gave the tip to Rachel since she did all the work that our original waitress did not. Then the worse part!! Lmfao! Got home and Lordy my burger is half size! Suppose to be bacon ranch burger with all the fixings. 😜 but it won’t let me post picture! Don’t waste your time guys.
We did Door dash and they shorted us a 12 dollar salad and would not answer their phone.

I ordered an omelette that was $10 but they were out of sausage so I requested to have double bacon and they charged me an extra $3. it cost $30 for two of us to eat breakfast there all we had was an omelette biscuit and gravy and coffee and they only come around one time to see if we needed more coffee and that was at the end of our meal the food tasted good service was not good at all
It has been better, they should really train their staff, before putting on floor. This girl tonight was nowhere near ready. I dont blame her, thats poor management.
Service was slow... walked in and there were 3 tables occupied the rest had dirty dishes and trash piled up on them. There were 2 young ladies behind the front counter who were more interested in the young man sitting at the front counter than any one else. After about 5-7 minutes one of them broke off their conversation with him long enough to go take orders from the other tables and after another 3 minutes the other one came over and wiped our table.. so 10-15 minutes passed before we were asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered breakfast. Food was decent but nothing to write home about. Liked the decor...

Boomarang is good, just not this one. Used to be a decent place to eat, but has quickly gone down hill. Seems like the waitresses are always new and its the cooks first cooking gig. Would go elsewhere if I were you.
Delicious as usual! But I will say when I request both hamburger buns to be covered in mayonnaise its disappointing every time to come home with barely anything on just one. Always have to add to it and heat in the microwave.Seldom hot n ready to eat. Delicious once I add to it!Im not the only one that feels this way! Apparently a common problem....

Went in to place a time go order. 15 minutes later they advised they lost my order. Well rush your order, they said. 15 minutes after that here comes my order. No complimentary drink or anything. Usually have good service here but not today.
I love the classic diner feel and the classic diner food. Catfish Fridays are always a treat as well. The service is always friendly, and the food portions are a great value. The menu diversity is broad enough to find an option for most dietary needs while keeping in mind that it is still a diner. All the staff are observing proper protection and social fistancing etiquette and all utensils are individually packaged to prevent cross contamination. Try the Oreo Shake while youre there!

Absolutley love this place, been going for years. Half-price hamburger Monday is my favorite day to grab Boomerang Diner for dinner. Super nice and courtesy, the portion on the Tator Tots is kinda small, but they are very tasty.
