An AMAZING coffee shop experience. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and they even laughed at my insanity. The espresso is expertly pulled and delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and fun. An awesome stop through on our way to Vegas - hope to visit again soon!

The second of 2 coffee stops I made this week, The Boxcar is a coffee shop with a bike shop. Or maybe its a bike shop with a coffee shop. Either way, if youre into cycling youll really dig the vibe. I had a mocha and a grilled cheese to fuely ride back home, and they both hit. I also picked up some replacement CO² canisters, which came in handy when I caught a flat on the turnaround. I tend to avoid Moore like the plague, but Ill definitely hazard another trip to visit these guys.

Maps says they’re open 7am-3pm everyday and so does their door. Was excited to try them out today and came by at 11am on Sunday 10/3. Unfortunately the door was locked and nobody was here.UPDATE: stopped by today 10/25 and everyone was very friendly. My Cortado was delicious and it looked like a nice spot to hangout.

Over the last few months the service here has exponentially gotten faster! The coffee is great and the chicken sausage sandwich is worth the trip alone. Great atmosphere to catch up with friends or get some work done. Highly recommend stopping by if youre in the area!

This was a cute little coffee shop and a nice change of pace from the big chain. I am usually not able to go here due to the fact that they close at 3 PM but finally made it in! I ordered a 12 oz. latte with vanilla and hazelnut syrup with soy. My friend got a cappuccino. She liked hers but said it wasnt phenomenal. I thought mine was really good! I like that they have many alternative milks for vegans (soy and oat are what I remember but there was more). The barista was even so kind to check and see if the syrups I wanted were vegan. The parking is very easy and plentiful as this is in a nice strip mall in Moore. Also noteworthy to those interested in bicycling...it has a bicycle shop inside, as well. It looks clean, cute, and quaint. It was really quiet when we were there just before closing. There is no drive through so you will have to go in to get your caffeine fix! Overall, this is a cute coffee shop with kind people and definitely worth a try. Especially, to support a local shop and not the big chains, which I definitely can get behind!!

Latte’s are the Best in Moore, maybe OKC. Service is friendly & quick, makes you feel so comfortable with the relaxed atmosphere. I take my bike in there to get serviced, built & maintained. Evan is Excellent. The owner Chad really has himself quite the Awesome place going. Would recommend them over any Bike service in town. The food they serve is delicious, I’ve had a breakfast burrito and the cinnamon roll.

My first visit here was absolutely awesome. The coffee (specifically a Carmel Vanilla Latte) was spot on. I lost my coffee shop due to COVID-19 and this little hidden gem may be my new go to! When I am off my bread hiatus, the Avocado toast will definitely be on my order. Looking forward to going back.

An honest review by a former regular: As of late, the Boxcar Coffee in Moore has failed to impress. It was formally known for high caliber baristas/staff and some of the finest bicycles on the market. However now, youre warmly greeted at the front door by pallets of coffee storage, like a pseudo-warehouse, and served espresso drinks made from a push-button automatic machine. If youre a true coffee advocate, dont waste the stop!By Boxcars own admission, its been difficult for them to find quality help, this tends to happen when the skilled coffee professionals in the area know the character of the acting management and the highly aggressive way theyve conducted themselves lately. Baristas know better than to trust their reputation with this leadership. Boxcars exclusive offering of @kllrcoffee (same owner) has continued to lose market-share, as many of the other local shops know better than to support these establishments.Its clear that Boxcar has lost its way, this is a byproduct of ego and mismanagement, its just unfortunate it had to impact our community like this. I hope Moore gets back a proper coffee shop but the current boxcar isnt it!Recommendation, sharing private details associated with your now failing businesses on social media, only further reinforces leadership incompetence and broadcasts it into the public space. It would be wise to refrain from this behavior moving forward, it seems negative for business and likely repulsive to potential new customers.

Excellent coffee, great atmosphere! The bike side of this shop is awesome. Evan and Chad are really helpful, especially people just getting into cycling. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Cute place. Is a bicycle shop/ coffee shop. Had the turkey and bacon sandwich and was so good. Many younger adults there on laptops and has an area where 4 ladies were sitting and talking. The cookies and cinnamon rolls was amazing. Will definitely recommend and be back.

This isnt corporate coffee. How awesome it is to find a place to relax, have conversation, and have the owner working the counter. Not to mention that they a bit shop as well. Customer service was great, coffee was awesome, and pricing was on point. I will be making regular trips from the NW side of OKC from now on.

This place has a pretty cool pricing setup. The drinks are all to even dollars or to quarter amounts. Which makes for easy math and even easier change. The place is pretty trendy inside with a rustic feel. Coffee was good but I got less than I paid for. Really weird to have only received half a cup. Was pretty disappointed with a $4 cappuccino.

Fun place to gather with friends or to enjoy a cup of coffee on your own. Spaces to site outside and enjoy the weather or bar areas to catch up on work items. From the cold brew to the cappuccino the brews are perfect.

Stopped by this little coffee shop for the first time. Had to wait 15 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. They didnt make it right leaving off the egg. I replaced it with a cin roll and they didnt even offer me the difference. This was my last $5 cin roll here. No plate? Had to use a napkin. Bad first impression.

Only there for a few minutes with a great Americano but the wonderful atmosphere means Ill be back.

Just ordered on Door dash the bacon tacos and the bacon burrito - HOLYYYY SH—-!!!! Also, their cold brew is perfectly smooth and the caramel wasn’t too sweet. Never going back to Starbucks what the heck.

I just had their drip coffee. Its KLLR coffee, so yeah...its good👍 Neat setup inside. I should have had them make me a latte just so I could see them use their cool machine. Next time maybe.

The coffee was amazing! Service was great, as the server was friendly and accommodating, and made sure to ask the right questions about how I wanted my coffee served. In addition, the bicycle vibe is very neat, especially being able to see the differences between old and modern bicycles.

Nice warm atmosphere, with good relaxing music. Free Wi-Fi. Clean bathrooms, spacious, good environment. Jacob, who attended me, was very presentable, approachable, professional, attentive, and had great recommendations for me after only a minute of friendly conversation.I bought a serving of their Cortado with Soy milk. Their Oklahoma City Expresso was different, but good. They were nice enough to include a serving of sparkling to clense my pallet and allow me to taste their Expresso Beer!I tried a sample of their espresso beer, an espresso shot with ginger beer. You have to be very careful as you mix it, bubbles rose rather quickly! A decent glass avoided that from being a problem. At first I picked a complex smell, I was a little concerned since I have never tried this type of beer before. I realize, it was the ginger in the beer that created that differet smell, as soon as I tasted it, it was refreshing and delicious! The ginger began to feel a little strong in my pallet and my esophagus...adding the orange that comes with the drink is essential in eliminating that sensation. Lastly, they put just the right amount of ice to make this beer a really enjoyable one!The one thing I did not enjoy is the echo the locale’s open floor produces. I can’t imagine coming here for a quick meeting during busy time... check the Google busy times and plan accordingly.

Happened upon this place by sheer luck. I was a few doors down seeing an insurance agent and on a whim and with an empty stomach I decided to stop in and see what they had. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection and the quality of the options on their menu. I ordered a sandwich and loved it. I will come back again and bring others too.

My favorite coffee house, and Ive been to many all over the globe. But this one! This one right here is by far my favorite and I live nowhere close to it. But its worth the 35 minute drive. The coffee is rich. Expertly roasted and you can taste that even when they add milk or a milk substitute. So when SHTF and the apocalypse happens, youll find me killing zombies with a gun in one hand and drinking a latte in the other.

They dont know how to make a decent London Fog. Half water half milk makes a diluted flavorless tea. The barista said he was too busy to make it right. I was disappointed as I told them how to make it.

I cannot express with words how amazing my experience was. I walked in and was immediately smitten with the aesthetic. Staff was incredibly kind and relaxed, and though our food took a second, my boyfriend and I both understand why: They dont make food here, they make ART. He got the grilled cheese and I got the sausage burrito. The presentation was beautiful, it smelled and looked amazing, and when I took my first bite I knew we had to come back again. I have no clue who made my burrito, but it was definitely the best burrito Ive ever had. 10/10! Wish I could have tipped more but I only had a 10 on me

Excellent food and tea, great staff, comfy atmosphere. A must for all.We have been here close to a dozen times, tonight (Valentines day) we had dinner here, my wifes sandwich (the better half) was very skimpy on the meat, 2 slices,,probably only 2-2.5oz. Every other time it has 4 or more, same thickness, (3.75-4oz) the bread neededa little,more heat and time.,it was barely warm. The owner,or daytime manager may need to pop in or give a refresher. We love the boxcat, please dont let it slip.

Today is my first time trying boxcar. I got the avocado toast and the strawberry banana smoothie. The smoothie is outstanding!!! Like really good. The avocado toast isn’t bad, I mean I ate the whole thing. But it was $5 for one peice of toast with hardly anything on it. Just thought it was a little pricy for what I got. But overall I enjoyed everything. I look forward to trying more in the future. 🙂

Me and my wife recently went to Boxcar for the first time in over a year. We noticed that its also a bike shop now, and the place is slightly different inside than the last time we were in. The staff was very friendly. The place has a very relaxing comfortable vibe, but most importantly the coffee and food were excellent. Its so good that we have been back twice in the last week. Definitely nice to see a place like this in Moore!

Spacious with plenty of conversation areas. Great place to take a group of friends to hangout and drink coffee, iced or hot, and teas. Two great guys were working there when we visited. Very knowledgeable about their drinks, friendly and helpful. Iced vanilla lattes were refreshing and yummy. Their menu showing the foods they serve had a nice selection. We definitely want to return for lunch someday soon.

This is my favorite coffee hang-out in the metro. The drip coffee is excellent, as is the espresso. You can tell that they really took their time dialing in their equipment for the perfect brew. The service is always friendly. Wi-Fi here is fast and free, so its a great place to work. If youre a cyclist, they also sell a great selection of gear and they have a mechanic on staff who can take care of all of your maintenance needs.

This place definitely earns a 5 star rating. Their coffee and food hit the spot every time I go in. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. I took my grandparents there for breakfast and they loved it. Even with several families in there, it was easy to hear and the music was kept at a respectable level. This will most likely become my new study spot. Super psyched to have this local business in Moore!

Great atmosphere. And witty barista banter. The boys tried to sell all the muffins.The food was 10/10. Husband had the most fluffy and delicious bacon Gouda quiche. I ordered the cream cheese stuffed French toast which was really good but almost too sweet. Lattes were spot on, and it all arrived quickly. Thanks for a great first visit. We will be back!

I love going to this place. The new menu is awesome and Stephan makes the best Turkey and Bacon Sandwich. Of course everything is great but that sandwich is to die for. Leigh, one of the barista is always great. She greets you with a smile and is very friendly. The owner, Chad does his best to make sure everyone is taken well care of and works as a barista also.

Visited on a Saturday I think it was? Barista answered my coffee question and gave an idea of what to try. Didnt care for much for the change of order but appreciated the help nonetheless and Ill definitely be back to try something new.Excited to hear they have a cycling community of their own and hope to drop in on a ride some day. Thought it was really neat they have mechanical area and was told they have plans to expand that portion of the shop.Presence on social media is nice as well! The extra step definitely catches my attention. Hope to visit again soon.

My husband and I loved the Boxcar. We stopped by on our drive from California to Missouri to visit with some family. We immediately wished there was a coffee shop like this in our area of California. Great drinks, relaxed setting, even some books and games to borrow while visiting. Next time in the area, we will be back!

Just checked out this place and loved it! I got a good cup of a coffee and a really good sandwich (The Usual is way better than my usual breakfast sandwich). They had a really cool list of specialty toast that I am looking forward to trying on my next stop. Lots of local Moore folks hanging out talking; good vibes.

Good neighborhood coffee shop with the potential to be really good if they could somehow get a liquor license. The coffee is way more to my liking than Starbucks. I had the Owner sandwich, which was pretty solid. Im definitely happy to have this place along my route to work every day.

I have only been here once. Place is pretty chill. I did not eat. I did however have a coffee. It was great and he put a little design in the froth. I believe if your looking for a place to away for a minute. And you dont want to hang out at an overcrowded Starbucks, this would be a most excellent place!

I love the boxcar. Their food and coffee are excellent. I dropped one star off of the rating because they are getting slower and slower on their service. It shouldnt take 20 minutes to get 2 small lattes when no one else is there.

Absolutely amazing addition to the Moore landscape. I had The Owner sandwich and a caramel latte. Both were awesome. Ill definitely be back to try the other sandwiches and drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the owner was wandering about making sure everyone pleased with their experience. Its a nice touch I hope doesnt go away with time. The layout has everything from a bar, to comfy chairs, to cafeteria style tables. Its not a very big place, which I think actually makes it feel more warm. In short, skip 19th street and head on over to The Boxcar. You wont regret it.

I really enjoyed my first experience here. I liked the atmosphere of the place, it had a lot of people there but it wasnt super loud like a place like starbucks would be, the coffee and food was really good, the staff wemt above and beyond for me in my first experience there, etc. It seems just a little bit more on the expensive side and the person who took my order was a little slow but those are small little knocks on a great place that im interested in returning to and hoping to be one of my new hangouts

Ordered 2 16 oz coffees and was sold 2 8 oz coffees, took a while since it was a french press so didnt really go super quick. Didnt want to deal with having it remade. Ill be sure to order ahead next time. Good coffee, good atmosphere. Going to give them another shot.

Heard about this place through a friend, so I thought Id check it out. Very limited sandwich selection. I ordered The owner and while it was tasty, not very big and doesnt include a side item. Paid nearly $10 bucks for a sandwich no bigger than a pb&j and potato salad. Im not into coffee so drink choice was limited, also extra charge. Would rate higher if they offered a combo package.

Fun niche little place. The sandwiches we got were absolutely delicious! They have a solid menu made up of 6-10 items and offer memosas and beer. The environment is fun and laid back with couches and coffee tables.

Ive only in the past couple months started frequenting Boxcar and have watched as their menu has continued to grow and improve. The atmosphere is very open and inviting and the staff are always friendly.

This is one of the best coffee shops Ive been too! Me and my fiance both got coffees under $10. The staff actually remembered us which impressed me. I was a Starbucks customer but Ive dropped that habit and will be going here from now on.

I was happy that Siri led me here when I asked for a coffee shop in Moore, which is off of my normal route. I’ll be sure to add The Boxcar to my list of good coffee stops. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the metro, and thats saying something. They use Topeca as their roaster, and their baristas do a great job. The customer service is top notch. Grab a breakfast sandwich or a lunch sandwich while youre there. You wont be disappointed.

Go nearly every day. The staff are some of the friendliest people Ive met, and the wait for the food and drinks are understandable as everything is made from scratch, which pays off in the long run #Hamlet. Best coffee place every.

I have been going to this place for about a year, and I get cold brew for $3 for 12 ounces as the sign says. This last time I was in a female helped me with my order and I told her no ice please, she told me that would be a $1 extra for getting no ice. Thats when I had a issue, I clearly showed her that no where on the menu does it talk about a $1 extra for no ice lol.Most of the time they will try to fill the cup full of ice so I you only get about 4-5 ounces, and they dont say nothing then, lol.I told the girl I am not paying the $1 extra she wanted, and told her thats wrong that she try to even get another $1. I know all you facetious people will laugh and ignore the principle of the entire situation and say its only a dollar. Needless to say she tired out quickly battling for that dollar, I stood my ground because I knew she didnt have a leg to stand on so to speak.

This place is great! The atmosphere is welcoming, the coffee is superb, and I have not been disappointed in a single thing I have eaten. They have board games available do you can hang out and play and wifi if you have work to do.

If youre looking for a fun, delicious, and hip coffee shop in which to hang out, eat good food, and drink delectable coffee, the Boxcar is where you need to be! I can go here to work on work or to hang out with my rambunctious kiddos. You can rent board games or host a book club. The options are endless.

This place is amazing. Forget Starbucks. I had the pineapple coconut iced tea, which was amazing. For my sandwich I had the figgy and the pita with hummus for a side. The service is awesome.

Great place to hold meetings. Even when busy it is not as loud as Starbucks and it is more open, inviting, and friendlier than other coffee shops.

Our favorite thing about this place is that they have board games to play while you visit. The music varies, even occasionally being live. Their food is DELICIOUS. There are so many coffee places with pre-made food, but not this place- it is fresh and not the same-ol-same youd find elsewhere. So refreshing.It CAN be a bit loud sometimes, especially on live music or Trivia night.

What a great addition to the area! Great food selection, coffee, and Urban Teahouse tea. The environment is great for conversation, studying, or small group meetings.
