Horrible at personalizing their cakes. Wrong colors and extremely crooked. Upsetting.

Always out of ice cream or closed.I dont know who the owner is but it is essential to be open when stated on your website. This location needs a new manager or an owner that gives a $#it.

The little gal at the window was so incredibly rude I couldnt believe it. Then I asked for a blizzard and she gave me a shake. When I said something about it she yelled at me telling me it was the blizzard I ordered. When I told her it was liquid and didnt have a single one in it, she told me she would make me a new one. However all she did was add a few ones crumbs on top and gave it back to me. With so many other places in town that serve ice cream similar to blizards, I would recommend any of them over this Dairy Queen. They all offer better service and better ice cream.

The young boy making my sons blizzard was waving the spoon around talking adamantly to his coworkers, talking into his headset with the spoon dangerously close to his mouth. When asked to remake my sons blizzard due to him putting the spoon into said blizzard, the young boy was very rude saying we arent required to wear masks when all I said was you arent wearing a mask and I didnt like my sons spoon for his blizzard so close to your his mouth. He roughly remade the blizzard, only to put on a show of grabbing a new spoon and keeping blizzard at arms length. His coworkers were all laughing at whatever the young boy was saying, Im sure, about me. Such a disgrace going to Montrose Dairy Queen.

Last Tuesday I bought a medium pecan cluster aka turtle pecan blizzard. When I got to Cedaredge I discovered there was no caramel in it. It just had ice cream, pecans and chocolate. I called and got only voicemail. I said I had just been there, asked for a call and left my number. The voicemail message said theyd call right back. It is now 4 days later and theres been no response or call from DQ. Dont bother with them. Apparently theres no way to get their attention for a correct order unless you travel all the way back to their store (out of the question in my case). Lousy, non existent customer service!

I don’t normally leave a review but the customer service here is horrible, most definitely not my first bad experience but always come back for a second chance but i doubt i’ll be back. the employees seem to care more about chitchatting rather than actually working. always seem to mess up my order.

This was an extremely terrible visit with the employees embarrassing me every second. I tried to order a coffee/caramel blizzard and the young man responded with you want coffee and caramel in a blizzard? He also said it in a very rude and demeaning way. As if by showing up inconvenienced them. Dairy Queen managers, teach those young kids better and if theyre adults they need a class in understanding and patience.

The lobby was closed but the treats are always good.

They definitely need to clean the bathrooms.. No toilet paper no toilet seat and the lights didnt work.

Seriously, how hard is it to blend a milkshake? Every time I go here, about 8pm, it seems like Ive offended the staff by showing up and interrupting them. I now see why everyone tells me to go elsewhere. Just go to sonic or Culvers, service is exceptional.

Went a few minutes before closing. The kid taking orders took his time to get to the window only to let us know they were already closed. Open sign still on even as we drove off. The young kid laughing in the window at us. Guess they dont want our business again. Would have left no stars if that would have been an option.

We are consistently disappointed in our Montrose Dairy Queen. Today we ordered two blizzards: a turtle pecan and a strawberry cheesecake. The turtle pecan was not blended well, was very salty, had hardly any pecans and had a bunch of vanilla at the bottom. When we were handed the strawberry cheesecake blizzard most of the strawberries were sitting on top, I had to try to blend my blizzard with my plastic spoon. The cheesecake was mostly at the bottom along with vanilla ice cream. Needless to say, we were not happy with our blizzards and this is not the first time.

If I’m going to pay for a premium ice cream at $5.69 for a large, I expect it to be right. When I was handed my ice cream I was told it was Butterfinger. I ordered a chocolate extreme brownie and a cotton candy blizzard. The cotton candy blizzard was almost completely melted and had very few pieces of cotton candy in it. I basically ate an extra large cup of melted McDonald’s vanilla ice cream with a small sprinkle of cotton candy flakes. It looks like it was an order that was messed up and instead of trashing it they just decided to give it to me. Why was there cotton candy dipped cone substance around the inside of the cup? Would not even eat it because I don’t trust it. I spent almost $13. I got the chocolate brownie extreme and the vanilla ice cream was also white. The girl at the window said on the larges they do not mix enough stuff for the color to show. That just does not sound right. So basically I have to order a smaller size if I want it toTaste like the correct recipe? The reason I buy larges is because my daughter and I will share the ice cream and put it in our freezer for a few days. It makes no sense to buy a small at four dollars and some change when you can get a large for $.75 more. That being said this is why I buy larges.To add to the disappointment, I have waited and waited and waited for the cotton candy blizzard to come back and when it does this is what I get. I should have my entire order replaced.

So this is the first time Ive written a review about anything and almost didnt write this one but I believe something must be said. I went through the drive through of the Montrose DQ and ordered two hot dogs, chili dog, two sodas, and a small and medium shake. I recieved my drinks then my food but I asked where my small shake was for my boys. They kind of had attitude about it but made me my shake. No big deal I shrugged it off. The boys and I drove down to blocks to a little park with benches to eat. Pulled out my boys hot dogs and noticed they were ice cold along with my chili dog. That was enough to make it that Im never going back to that place ever again. Oh also the soda was flat.

I will never return, you shouldnt have to be treated this way...but that donut shop next door wow amazing customer service. I do not recommend dairy queen in Montrose at all dont waste your time

Did not eat here, but the place next door wow. Montrose doughnut and deli you have to stop here I would give this place 6 stars best doughnuts, sandwiches, coffee and hospitality you will ever find.

The manager DeeDee did a fantastic job addressing the concerns I did have with my last visit there. Having met her and seeing how well she dealt with the problem, my family and I will be returning. Thank you DeeDee.

Had to wait in line ten minutes at the drive thats for starters. I will say their service is speedy, but thats not always a good thing. During the ten minute trip back to my house, the blizzards had melted and spilled onto my seats. All the employees were high schoolers that were more interested in talking to each other than they were about doing their jobs. Service has really tanked.

Great Place to get/buy a Orange Julius and whatever ice cream you like .

The costumer service was low. I believe the name was Allan- he was very disrespectful. He continued to complain when asked for water and using foul language in the process. Another employee ended up doing it for him. I’ve always been displeased with the service here, it just took this evening to leave a review expressing otherwise.

I love this place one of my favorite places to get some ice cream.

DQ ice cream is great, and this place is real popular... however I feel they could be a lot cleaner. Weve found dirty diaper mess in the dining area and the food prep areas are always a disaster.

The ice cream was great but l was charged for a mix-in on a Blizzard. And they were unable to give me directions to a freeway that was 2 miles away or less.

Their customer service is awful. Their store us very hot, no air conditioning and their ice cream melts faster than you can eat it.

Went there craving a steak finger basket to find out they dont serve anything that has to be grilled or deep fried (no French fries). Makes no sense.

Whats with being closed for half the year?!?!? I bet cold stone sure enjoys your winter hiatus, but I sure dont! Ill turn the heater up in my car and eat ice cream all year long!

Ordered a sandwich and It was made wrong and they said oh we are out of some of the ingredients. They could have said that before they took my money and made a half a sandwich wrong. Bad Show.....

Kind of slow service. It was ok. I wanted a banana split but they were out of bananas and I was going to order my husband the BBQ sandwich, but they were out of that too. I had to settle for the bacon ranch chicken. Not really impressed that they were out of product.

Poor kiddos had no ac it was hotter than heck in there then admist a busy drive through they managed to keep it very well handled including a disgruntled elder man demanding more change than what was owed back. Deandre was the young man up front he handled himself well!

For a Dairy Queen the menu was tiny as well as the building. They didnt have a full kitchen. You paid $7-8 for a sandwich and a bag of chips. Fries arent available at this location.
