This is a great idea for recycling, which is why I was excited to consign as well as purchase from them. Unfortunately, the current owner does not hold good to his word. A few of my consigned items have sold months ago, and I have yet to receive any compensation. When I inquired, the young woman at the desk stated the owner was working on getting the bugs wired out. I purchased an item from them (prior to not being paid for my consigned items), which turned out to be faulty. I returned the item with no receipt (stating that it would be nearly impossible to find it as I was remodeling two houses and had piles of receipts o would have to go through). The item was clearly marked as belonging to the Consignment Depot and was a one of a kind item. I was told the owner would investigate the matter and get back to me. I went in several times to inquire. Finally, the same young woman told me that the owner was new to the consignment business and that there were many things he was working on, including a purchase agreement outlining returns. She said that he is “not good at follow through getting back to people”. She made it clear that there was nothing that would be done regarding my faulty purchase, even though I offered to accept store credit in exchange. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and honesty, including the disgraceful non-existent customer service. These people are not operating honestly in any way, shape, or form.
