Brian and Hunter were both knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful during the final set up of the generac generator.They worked well with the electricians that did the wiring. The crew that installed it was thorough, considerate, and efficient during the initial installation. Thank you all for making this an enjoyable experience.

Timely deliveries without having to call...

The Hinds Energy crew replaced our forced air fuel oil furnace with a new propane fired unit along with installing central AC. The replacement was well planned and the crew was very courteous and helpful.Kevin Price

I keep reading these reviews that say, Bad customer service or Dont do emergency deliveries. However, the girls in the Montrose office have always been very sweet and helpful to my In-laws (who are long time customers) and my husband and me.When we run out of fuel, Wich we often do, they always deliver within a day or two.

Called hinds talked to Bryan.they came out to give an estimate they were on time and full of information they were the lowest and bestat explaning all option .a crew of 3 guys came out and installed it.. there head tech ryan went above and beyond to keep us happy Im glad I chose them I wouldnt call any other company I dont what they pay the installers but they need more thanks

Hinds oil is quite possibly the worst excuse for a business I have ever encountered. If you can find any alternative for your heating needs, I suggest you do so. Horrible customer service, long delays in delivery of fuel oil, rude and incompetent office employees plague their business from top to bottom. If you ever want to feel completely irrelevant as a customer, the by all means choose hinds oil.

Customer service is absolutely horrible. After being a customer for years, who prepaid mind you, we were treated with such arrogance when calling about a billing question it was mind blowing. Dont waste your time. There are other local companies that actually run a decent business AND have better rates. Its amazing this place even stays in business.

After a rough start when I called about a down furnace with a two plus week wait with no answer I had given up when situation was noticed by josh from hinds and I received a phone call followed by a house visit furnace checked needed replacing was quickly given a fair open options and prices .We selected a replacement which will be installed quickly.The service tech and josh were professional and informative.Thanks for the help

I was extremely pleased with our installation and price of our tankless water heater. The service guys were very punctual and professional. Answered all my questions and also cleaned up after the installation. Would recommend this company to anyone who would ask.

The people in call center have issues! they told me Thursday that i would have my fuel delivered Friday witch is today and yet nothing thanks!!! Smdh at this wonderful idea of customer service bs

My senior citizen parents ordered fuel on line and never received a delivery date. When my dad called the Montrose office he was told they are not on the schedule and to go to the gas station and buy fuel because they do not do emergency deliveries. My parents are in their 70s and my dad is on oxygen 24/7. Really?????? Oh and by the way, still no delivery date. Will NEVER use this company again.

Easy to work with, timely & very professional

Been with Hind for 12 years, my father (78) never called in his fuel delivery before he left for vacation and when I realized it his tank was empty. The How Can we make you smile people at Hinds Oil said that all their trucks were slotted for and they dont offer Emergancy service that it would be maybe next day. Now I get the fact that we called on the empty side of the tank but for crying out loud my Father hss been a Valued customer for 12 years ALWAYS pays with credit card on file therefore NEVER late has waited up to 10 Days on many occasions for a fuel delivery only 5 miles all hard road from HINDS.

WROST COMPANY EVER! They were extremely rude, and treated my husband and I like we were trash. They overcharged my credit card for more then they said it was going to be. I have never ever felt with a company that treats their customers so poorly. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as well as switching propane companies. They ladies working in the Montrose office should be ashamed of themselves for treating people the way that they do. Its nice to know that they feel they can treat a veteran like they are scum.

Ripping the people of Susquehanna County off. $159 for furnace cleaning.Everyone else between $80 and $100Getting mine done for $80 plus parts.Their gas prices are 15 cents more here in Susquehanna than Carbondale.Bought fuel from them last winter and had to wait 12 days for delivery.Rude customer service from Montrose.

I have been a Hines customer for over 25 years and can say without hesitation they have a very knowledge, responsive service department, and the entire staff, sales-service-admin, could not be nicer or more accommodating. Thank you.

Best prices great people

So its Sunday and I ran out of propane overnight at some point. I called for an emergency delivery but was told that they dont see that Im a customer. Ive been getting heating oil at my old house from Hinds for a few years now and propane at my new house for the past year. Its 39 degrees outside (60 in the house right now) I was also supposed to have Thanksgiving dinner at my house today (Things came up on Thursday so we werent able to do it then). I guess instead of having a meal with my family, I get to sit at home, figure out how to keep my water pipes from freezing, and attempt to stay warm because Im not on their customer list. Dont waste your time with this company. They obviously couldnt care less about their customers!Also, I attempted to hook my gas grill propane tank to the line but they have the fitting screwed on so tight that even with a pipe wrench and a hammer it wont budge. So their suggestion of go get propane from a gas station and hook it up doesnt work either.

We changed over to Hinds a little over a year ago. They have been wonderful to deal with.

Rude, not helpful, expensive... has never made me smile... don’t ever say that you’re almost out of propane, they will purposefully make you wait 2 weeks for your delivery!
