Only craft store in montrose so it does a pretty good job on holding its own. Although I find myself time to time wishing I could find certain things there and I cant.

Everyone was very helpful! This place has a lot of craft items not just fabric. Thanks for the help navigating. I found everything I needed for my project.

Building is hot. Too uncomfortable to shop,but apparently great for wild life. There are 3 chipmunks in the store. Not sure how great that is for disease control.

Im so addicted to resin creations that I believe I buy them out of resin every week. Yall need to up your orders please 🙂

Kind staff. Today they were short on staff and they were still friendly. I love that.

I think the employee Mika who cut 2 fabrics for me is not happy working there. I came up to the cutting table and she kept me waiting for several minutes before she took care of me. There was only 1 other person in the store who wasnt near the cutting table. I asked her about a product l was looking for that is usually in the store and her reply was l dont think we have that. My opinion; dont work on a job that puts you working with customers unless youre able to enjoy helping. She didnt seem happy at all. The cashier was really warm and friendly!!!

Joann’s Fabrics in Montrose is really a wonderful store!! The people are so nice. The general manger is “Brandon” I believe. He has been so helpful to me. Given that I know very little about cloth fabric, I was probably more high maintenance than most customers. They treated me so nicely and made me feel comfortable. Pretty much everyone with whom I interacted was kind and friendly to me. My project has been completed but I still walk in from time to time. Who knows, maybe I’ll try something else. Thanks Joann’s

The yarn selection was poor. In the past there was a selection of Paton kroy sock yarn. There was no sock yarn at all. .the selection of Bernal dk yarn was also very poor i.e. no white at all

Its okay. Nobody there seems to know much of anything. They have a great selection of fabric at high prices.

Worst experience ever weekend manager rude. I had to walk the store 4 times before finding someone to help. I had my mask on she had hers on but she stood at opposite end of aisle trying to answer my question. Then told me if I wanted to know how to do something to google it. I live 11/2 hours from montrose I will from now on drive the same distance to grand jct before going back to that store. Their was several people around material table waiting for service as well. I worked retail for 20 yrs and you dont treat people this way. Cashier was very sweet and helpful.

Brandon & Alicia at this Joann store are amazing and went above and beyond to help me. After an online order that shipped from this store was lost in transit, Alicia and Brandon helped me find the fabric I needed from another store and then shipped it to me. The Hudson, Ohio Customer Service team at Joann is truly terrible - Ive emailed them multiple times for the lost package (for two weeks) and just to simply get a refund for the order that never arrived. It is a blessing to find team members at the store level that help customers when corporate is a complete fail. This team cares!

I always get great, friendly service here. I dont know all the sewing terms and fabric types, but they help me learn what I need to know to make what I need to make. I am disabled and never feel like I am treated differently here.

Much Craft Inventory; all locatable by Associates hand held computer‼️

No one spoke to us the entire time we were there including the “manager” who almost ran us over coming out of his office while we were shopping in the last aisle. When I went to return my cart the associate moving inventory near the front door (Makaria) was snotty & acted put out that I needed to get around her. All around rude & ZERO customer service! #alwaysadisappointment

Joann fabrics is one of my favorite go to place for fabrics . You wont find quality fabrics anywhere like those you will find at Joanns... The Sales are Fantastic..

Went in to browse & pick up a few jewelry repair items. There was an older man lurking in the store the entire time ~ obviously not buying anything & a little creepy following people around. When I asked an associate about him, the response was “he is the father of an employee, he always hangs out during her shifts”I find this unprofessional & uncomfortable - It’s a shame management won’t do anything about the creep making the customers feel awkward & uncomfortable. I will NEVER return to Montrose Joann’s!

Nice, helpful, knowledgeable staff! Lost two stars because of mandatory app download for coupons. Plenty of people dont have smartphones, extra room, or the desire to have a large digital footprint. I am not returning.

For the size of the store, its fairly well stocked. (Smallest Joanns Ive ever been in). It is always busy when Ive been there, and grossly understaffed, however that is not the fault of the employees on the floor (two employees at Christmas time was ridiculous), however a corporate scheduling decision. Despite the employees always working diligently to ring up the customers as expediently as possible, theyve always been friendly.

Ok, but not much to choose from as far as fall wreaths go.

Love the sales and coupons here. Great selection of fabrics and crafts and art items. The staff is so friendly and often are interested in your projects and sharing craft ideas.

Always has the craft supplies i need

It can be hard to locate an associate to help find items. However, once you find them, the majority are happy to help. For most sewing needs they are great. I have wanted a couple items that they didnt have though.

I do mixed media art and scrapbooking. Anything they have is very basic. For me most of the stuff is inexpensive idems that are not needed. The beads, and fabric departments look very good.

Decent craft store, selection is somewhat lacking.

This place is always disappointing when I go in. The people who work there act like they know nothing about crafts or whatever Im looking for. And they wont help you look for anything. They just say if we do have it it would be over there. Disappointed
