An oasis in Montrose for bagels. We were passing by, greeted by friendly folks, and good service, and some great lunch sandwiches. The have baked goods and good smoothies also.

This entire establishment is so chill and friendly, and the food tasted great. There were many vegetarian options, the coffee was great, and the smoothies even better. Would definitely return. There arent many great options in Montrose, but this place is an exception.

Stopped in here after a work trip, super cute atmosphere! I appreciate how the bagels are made fresh every morning and the smoothies are made from real fruit and juice as opposed to concentrates. Sarah helped me navigate their large menu and was super friendly...always a plus! I got the garlic Rosemary bagel and loved it! Service was quick too! The backstreet bagel company could earn another star from me if they would great their guests immediately upon entry and if they toasted their bagels more. I will becoming back for their more robust bagel sandwiches! Thanks guys!!!

Got breakfast with my family and lunch to go to bring while hiking, and we were all very satisfied with the trip. Lots of great options for bagels, good coffee, and tasty wraps and lunch options as well. I really liked the rosemary garlic bagel for a breakfast sandwich, but if you are thinking of something sweet the cinnamon crunch bagel was great as well. We had the turkey and swiss wrap and the chicken salad and those were both tasty and fresh as well. Overall, would definitely recommend.

We like this place so much we decided why not invite our family and friends to a breakfast graduation party and feed them all Backstreets fresh bagels, cream cheese and coffee. They came through with flying colors...help with knowing what and how much to order, everything ready on time for pickup, curbside service to pack it up, and well, deliciousness served up for the guests. Next time youre throwing a party, make sure to include Backstreet Bagel Company for your menu selection.

Excellent bakery coffee house. Cool art inside. Parking for big rigs behind block. There’s a Back entrance and patio from ally way.

Amazing breakfast choice! Bagels, cinnamon rolls, and lattes were very good. Even with the line out the door, our food and drinks were ready in less than 5 minutes! Highly recommend :)

The bagels are real. Not the nonsense you get at chains. And they are fresh and delicious. Tons of yummy choices in sandwiches.Coffee was good not great. But better than the chain stores. Absolutely recommend the place. Bagel and lox were outa sight!

Roasted poblano soup 👌🏼 Bagels were okay, good sized sandwiches. $3 for cream cheese spread is a little steep. Out of all the coffees we had in Montrose, they were the best. Ppl were nice.

I love this place. The service is good, the bagels are good, bad the nitro coffee is worth the trip on its own.Get a nitro coffee. Dont ask questions. Just try one.

Great homemade bagels and high quality meats for sandwiches without high prices.We had the itialian sandwich on a hatch green chili bagel. Everything was fresh. Only request was the bagel had more green chilis, but that is a personal preference.We also had a rosemary garlic bagel with hummus. This was great too. The humus is made in house, complimented the rosemary garlic bagel great.

I just snagged a smoothie in todays visit while waiting for my car to charge at the nearby EV charging station. It was delicious! A sign on the door proclaimed that masks are required. That basic pandemic mitigation step is not universally embraced in Montrose, and I appreciated it! The bathrooms were also nice and clean.

The sandwiches are incredible. They are very fresh! Scones are yummy too!

Phenominal customer service on a large order and it was completed in a very timely manner! Smells great and although havent tried it yet, I have no doubt the food will taste great!

This place is great! And I absolutely recommend it! But Mark time on your calendar because youll be there awhile. There are people behind the counter doing something but it takes a long time, like theres something wrong amount of time. Like, is the Bagel toaster is broken and they are forced to use a hairdryer? long. But the place is nice, the servers are nice, so kick back and enjoy it all while you wait.

They had 5 people working yet it took more than 20 min for 2 bagels with cream cheese. There were a few locals that came in (cops and nurses) so we expected the wait to be worth our while. Bagels lacked flavor and were very doughy. Coffee was also just so,so. It looked like they were training people which is why I gave them a 3 vs a 2.

Great little coffee and bagel shop. The usual things you would expect from a place like this, with the bagels being exceptional. The chai was average but more or less what I expected. I enjoyed the atmosphere here as well.

Food is really good and customer service is 10/10. BUT, they are EXPENSIVE!! $14.50 for 2 bagel sandwiches. I just really hope they pay their employees well because the average Joe and I can’t afford to chip in a tip after paying $14. If they make minimum wage, that means that they worked over an hour to equal the cost of one sandwich. Backstreet must be making BANK. They just upped the prices too and I guess people don’t mind paying it. Like I said, I just hope the employees get paid pretty decent.

These guys are great. The bagels are tasty. The service is top notch. Drip Coffee is fresh, self serving and endless. The owners are super friendly and deserve your business for that reason alone. Good food and drink is just icing on the cake

I love the breakfast bagels, and it comes with a cup of locally roasted coffee. Lunch is very good too. Its like fast food, but its real food. They have a great coffee bar too.

Love their green chile bagel.I work a remote job so am always looking for good workable locations. This would be a great place to sit down and work a few hours.Also great local art!

Good atmosphere, good eats, and excellent coffee.

The only reason this place has such a high rating, is lack of competition. I went in to see what the hype was about, I waited 20 minutes for a turkey egg and cheese bagel. While waiting I observed the cooks microwaving the eggs, using the same knife for multiple sandwiches (different meats and cream cheeses), they also tried to pass out a sandwich that had already gone out and came back.All this time for a sub par sandwich, would’ve been nice to have had a fresh egg.

Unexpected to find such good bagels. They were very busy the day I was there but the line moved quickly. Everything bagel was good plenty of seasoning.

Bagels were excellent!!! I got a green chilli and garlic w/herb, so tasty! The nitro coffee I had did the job. The line wasnt bad either going at 11 on a sat. The space inside was nice but got mine to go. Id make it a point to go back here next time I pass through.

Updating review - the owner responded quickly to our issue and that was greatly appreciated. We will be back.

Coffee was ok...but the wait is insane! It takes forever to get a toasted bagel! Management needs to look into the service issue. It was good once we received our order.

The coffee here is great. The service and the bagels were very......meh. The bagel I ordered was so blah I cant even remember what I ordered, it was comparable to what I could have gotten in my hotel room for free, but instead paid 6 or 7 bucks for. The gals at the counter were not unfriendly but lacked real personality and warmness. Overall just an OK experience here

I looooooove Backstreet. Their breakfast sandwiches are yummy and fast, and they have an extensive menu for the rest of the day including some veggie options. Good coffee, friendly staff, AND they do a ton of good in our community! My only complaint is that the lines at peak times can move kind of slow. I love that they always have 4 coffees to choose from but skip it if Im in a hurry.

Been here twice and its a nice local spot. Huge selection of sandwiches and drinks. Nice staff and environment, clean and cozy.Medium star rating is because the sandwiches are a bit pricey and, in my opinion, nothing special. Just............... sandwiches.But its a nice break from fast food or chain restaurants and Id encourage locals to support them. Ill go back again.

Food is good, but lets just say, the staff at McDonalds obviously like their job more than these people. It was 12:30 and they had the whole big seating section closed and there was no where to sit since all other tables where occupied. so we were pretty much forced to get it To-Go. Dont go here if u are expecting to get a quick bite.
