Whole foods has the best selection of health food in Montgomery. That said its location isnt central to Montgomery shoppers. The store is better for a lot of things than typical grocers and is similar in a lot of ways to its local competition (Fresh Market). It fills the need of healthy options like organic, gluten free, and Paleo. It is mostly clean and stocked well but in some areas it could use some serious merchandising. I went around 3pm most recently and the hot bar could have used some love also. All in All its still a very welcome shopping experience in Montgomery.

I love whole foods. It is always stocked. The prices are a little higher than some other stores but the employees are friendly and willing to help. The store is always clean. The produce and meat are always great and this cant be said about a lot of other stores.

Quick friendly service. Quality food. Sale prices are çlearly marked and ring up automatically at checkout.

Very disappointed in the poor produce quality and obviously less than stellar management. Yesterday was June 18, 2021; yet each micro green was severely expired, not just one container but all. This particular Whole Foods need to pay attention to quality.

Who doesnt love Whole Foods? Quality food, lots of options. Lots of good bakery stuff and hot food. You can go in and get a meal and sit down and eat. I think you can get your groceries delivered through amazon now. They have a good deli and produce section. Lots of bulk grains and spices to choose from. Whole foods is a little on the expensive side but the quality is on the higher side as well.

I love the store but the hot bar for lunch plates was disgusting. I didnt like it at all, but maybe those are just my taste buds. Im vegetarian and I had the eggplant lasagna w/green beans. Its not a good item to have on the bar. I dont want to bash them but those are my thoughts on that one particular meal. Other than that I love Whole Foods

The Hot Bar is back !!! We tried it today, the Pulled Pork, collard greens, and Bolognese pasta are all absolutely fantastic!!! We’ll be going back ! In the produce dept., I just wish they carried a larger selection of fresh vegetables like Broccoflower, Watermelon radishes, Purple Broccoli, and such. The checkout staff is very personable too. Thank you to all.

Very clean grocery store and super friendly staff. The store is a bit smaller than most Whole Foods, but well organized and not short on anything. Their food court area is very Covid Friendly and food is packaged per serving. Great selection of produce, deli, seafood, and of course imported cheeses.

I am from the Birmingham area and the Highway 280 location is what Im used to visiting. This Whole Foods here is poorly stocked (no Bison steaks and the potatoes/Japanese sweet potatoes are smaller than your palm). Wine selection was less than impressive and the same bottle you would purchase at Publix was 1 1/2 times more.

My first time and everyone was so very friendly & helpful. When I asked where was the jackfruit the young man could have just said its on the next aisle but he came down off his ladder to show me.

When I tell you, I had the SWEETEST cashier in all of Montgomery, I mean it. Sae was absolutely incredible and so friendly. I’m not even from Montgomery and I felt like I was a part of the community 🥺 my girlfriend and I felt so accepted. I really hope Sae gets a bonus or a raise or something because wow, definitely deserves the world. My kid loves this store so we go a lot. Any place that holds the interest of my teen and lets her try different kinds of foods and drinks that are good for her is great

Did an online pickup was simple and a great experience. Will do again I already use their delivery service which is outstanding but needed a couple of items so while I was out running errands I placed an order for pickup it was ready in less than 2 hours. They do an amazing job everyone should give them a try.

The food and service were marvelous! I had vegan sandwich that was the best.

Every single time I go here (2x a week) I have to stand at the deli for 10 minutes before one of the employees will even acknowledge me. They just sit around behind the counter talking to each other - acting like I don’t exist and I’m like ?? Why...

Terrible. Should be called whole BS. Fruits and vegetables are old. Too expensive even with Amazon prime. They make excuses when you try to order a pizza like we are out of dough and we just.turned the oven off. The only good sale would be for them to sale the building. The only good thing is the door greeters and the price of their alkaline water.

Loved popping into this location today on my way to Florida. Moses was the sweetest kindest man and got me checked out so quickly so I could get back on the road. He didn’t have to pop into a register for me, I could have waited in the line I was in, but he jumped up to help me get out a bit quicker and with such kind conversation all the while. It’s rare to find genuine care and kindness in customer service anymore, and I can understand, working with the public can be SO draining and frustrating. But Moses has a great heart and made my day. He’s good at his job!

Since we dont have a Whole Foods in my area I have to shop via the Amazon app and pickup curbside. No other stores pickup compares.

Prices are kinda high for the quality but they have a good amount of meatless options which seems to be their focus.

I enjoy the deli/bakery. The brick oven pizzas are large and tasty with lots of topping options and priced around $15 (chicken, spinach, roasted garlic and bell peppers is my go to). Large beer and wine selection even can get draft beer bottled to go. Pre-covid, I regularly enjoyed hot bar, make your own trail mix and soup bar... havent got it since and dont know if available at this time. Not a big drinker but know that in past wine/cheese night would bring in 5-10 adults to sample couple of wines and cheeses. Staff friendly and quick to assist. Prices are higher than other grocery store but so is quality.

High quality upscale shopping

Overpriced with poor customer service with exception to Alicia and Ashley. They are both helpful. Items are expired and the price is always different at the cashier. I purchased a wine which was on sale, and the price wouldn’t come up. The same thing applies to the supplements. Normally they will try to compensate if it’s their fault with price adjustment but not at Montgomery location. They kept me waiting for 10 minutes, just to check the price, not even trying to keep their regular customer happy. Hopefully Trader Joe will be available at some point.

Its whole foods. You should have an idea of what you are looking for. Its not really a surprise. The staff was friendly.

These companies who embrace disgraceful and unAmerican COVID politics this late in the game deserve to have no customers. Shop somewhere else.Let me reiterate. Employees literally yelled at me and chased me around the store with a box of masks. Didnt realize the grocery store workers were also law enforcement officers.

Pathetic salad bar 2.5 hours before close, employees standing around talking and complaining about work. Hair net left by window, toilette over flowing with toilette paper. Similar experiences 8 days ago. If youre passing through, skip it.

Great! I found the most luxurious bars of soap! Three bars for $6.00, different scents. I got coffee, lavender and peppermint. Made with shes butter and coconut oil. Good when you have to wash hands a lot! Great water refill machine too! Bring your gallon jugs and fill for $.39 each.

Expensive place but, staff is willing to help you out with suggestions. Also the Amazon Prime discount really isnt that much. I would say its like 1% off your total.

In Montgomery, AlI witnessed this today:Whole Foods-Rating F.The store manager insists that it is their policy to not allow customers in without a mask, yet when one is pointed out, they refuse to enforce their policy and instead catch an attitude with an old woman about it, telling her she should just be quiet.When Whole Foods labels their foods non GMO, we believe them and shop there because we trust that they will keep us safe. This is clearly not the case here in Montgomery. There should be someone at the door during business hours enforcing their mask policy. The disregard that woman was treated with by that manager when she voiced her concerns today was absolutely unbelievable.

Great place for fresh and organic produce. They also have a lot of gluten free options as well. The meat and seafood is an excellent choice. Their fresh soups and salads are wonderful. They have a lot of fresh lunch options if you need “fast meal”. I highly recommend this store if you are in east Montgomery.

Coolest whole foods Ive ever been to!

How can you not love this place they are health, organized, and serve all types of foods, sweets and veggies. There cupcakes are to die for. I love eating here with my family. The staff are so nice. And I trust the food and fruits sold here.

Omgggg....how could I not love this place!!! Its open...lit up sooooo very well. Clean eating at its best!!!

I went at opening (8am) to avoid the crowds. The produce section was terrible quality, which is not why you pay premium prices here. The fennel was slimy and brown, after mentioning this near the worker, he tried cutting it down. The rest of the shelf packers were leaving the old picked through fruits and vegetables to be bought before putting out the fresh boxes they had on their carts. Tomatoes were squished, onions looked rotten, bananas were over ripe, and I could go on. Maybe Sunday morning is not the best time to shop here for produce.I went to Publix down the road, which was about the same prices, but the produce was fresh and of high quality. AVOID this store if you are going for produce.
