Terrible experience buyer beware. I hadn’t the first clue what to wear for my daughters 4th of July, afternoon, outdoor 90° outside wedding. I only had one week left to find something and called around everywhere and they pointed me to Kotsovos. I walked in the store and the girls pointed me upstairs. When I got up there I explained my situation to the woman and she snarled when I told her the brides maids were wearing red and it was a two color event. Focused on my mission to find a beautiful dress she handed me 3 gowns only one fit. She was so pushy and made me feel like she’d sell it out of spite as she hung it up right in the front of the store and walked away. Being it was the only one that fit I made the decision to pay for it thinking I could change my mind and return it if I found something better. It had a pull so she had to get it sewed. I was sick to my stomach and nearly threw up when I left. I had to put half on my credit card and half on my debit card. I called my friend crying and she called to find out theres a no return policy, which that lady DID NOT MENTION!! I called and asked to speak to the manager and little did I know that that woman was the manager. I hadn’t taken the dress yet from the store and told her as I was crying my eyes out I didn’t think this was the gown that I should wear to an afternoon wedding outside. I went to Dillards the next day and thank God Jamie that works at Dillards explained to me that an outdoor event needs a shorter style dress and a gown was meant for after 6 PM. Thank God for a Department store worker who new this. Furthermore the manager when I asked to speak to her boss she said that is the owners and no they don’t have a phone number nor would she give me their email. I am so upset about this. It is a very beautiful dress but I will never wear this.

I had a great experience at Kotsovos. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Dresses are organized by size and color, so it’s not hard at all to quickly find what you’re looking for. There’s a wide selection and the dresses are very well-made. I was in and out in twenty minutes after trying on a prom dress!

Everyone here was so helpful and nice! There was a good variety of styles & colors to choose from. I was able to try on around 12 dresses in a little over an hour. I walked out with a gorgeous red dress & a matching pair of earrings. I’m super happy with my experience at Kotsovos, & even more excited to wear my dress to prom next month! :)

Wonderful attention to detail and focus on understanding your needs. Visited for a Mother of the Groom dress, and left with an additional dress for another event too. The furs are amazing. Worth the visit. I will be back!

I went to Kotsovos because of there reputation. The salesperson was pushy and aggressive. She tried to force and rush me into a sale. She even went so far as to say that I had to make up my mind now because she had another customer coming in. I politely said well ok, Im not rushing so if you have to take another customer and I cant have longer to decided then I can leave. She left me alone. I did ultimately buy the $900 dress because it was absolutely beautiful. It is for my daughters wedding and I was trying to get her on FaceTime so she can see the dress. Thats what I was doing while she was rushing me. I had the dress altered there as well. When I picked the dress up it was done all wrong. I cried, it was not what we spoke about and it had wings. I told the seamtress I wasnt happy with the alterations. I told her that I would talk with my daughter about the shape at the the bottom and wings and get back with her. She told me that she had to do it like that because it would be too high off the ground if she didnt. I told her that it was enough fabric to avoid that. You can see how much fabric was it the bottom of the dress in the pictures. I called to speak with her (she want available) so they made an appointment for me to come back. I insisted on my money and skipped the appt because I was afraid that they would ruin the dress farther. Especially since the same salesperson that sold me the dress was the manager. My dress is ruined and I am extremely unhappy. I am looking for a seamstress that can fix it now..

We went on a Sunday and the shop was extremely busy! We had an appointment and only had to wait maybe 5 minutes for a dressing room. Our consultant, Sheridan, was magnificent. She was swamped and was taking care of several teen girls and their mothers, including myself and my daughter. However, she was always available for questions or different size dresses, etc. She never sat still but still managed to be there when my daughter needed her. It was really something to watch. We had two other boutique appointments that day and a trip to the mall. The other boutique appointments were not good- especially when compared to how we were treated by Sheridan at Kotsovos. Kotsovos was our 2nd appointment and after going to the third boutique, came back to Kotsovos and bought THE perfect dress. The dress we bought was also at the third boutique. It was the same designer, same style, same everything but was $100 cheaper. When I closely examined the cheaper dress- it was clearly made cheaply, too, despite being the same designer. Not sure how/why that happened but I feel like Kotsovos wouldn’t have allowed such poor quality on their showroom floor. My daughter is a sophomore and we will continue to come to Kotsovos for all her formal needs from here on out. And again- a special shout-out to Sheridan. She made my daughter feel so special and made my daughter’s first prom experience one of a kind!

The selection was amazing and Victoria was so friendly and fabulous! She helped me find the perfect Mother of the Groom dress!! It was a great day!!

On top of my bad experience here, management absolutely lied and tried to say they offered me another dress and they absolutely did not. She said I had to get the dress I purchased and that was that. I didnt even take it out of the store because it had a pull in it and they had to fix. I went home crying and sick to my stomach. The gown she sold me was beautiful but defiantly not for an outdoor event which I was very clear to her this would be an out door 2pm event in the sun. A regular department store at the mall helped me more. Now I am stuck with a $400 dress I will never wear.

Mother of the bride dress shopping had not gone well...until I visited Kotsovos today. Had a wonderful shopping experience and came away with exactly what I needed...and more! Victoria was a dream to work with and made for a fun and productive dress shopping experience.

I have never been to this store, but it was way better than I thought. Its elegant and cozy at the same time. I received the best customer service by Victoria. The location has a private wedding gown room. Choosing a dress was easy, fun and I found exactly what I wanted.

We happened upon Kotsovos after a quick Google search when our prom dress shopping wasnt too successful in our hometown area of Columbus. We drove 1.5 hours the next day, and didnt regret it a bit! I think this is where well start every year from now on. The sales associates were perfect - not pushy at all and so patient with the process. The gown we wanted needed to be ordered and there was only one left in the U.S. They were sure to order it on the spot and it came in 4 days later. We needed alternations, and Sharon was simply an amazing seamstress! She paid attention to every detail and was so helpful and personable to us. Alteration appointments can get backed up, but they are very cordial in offering us snacks and drinks while we waited. We shopped many stores before going here and this was by far the best of them all in every aspect - selection, service, professionalism, and an overall great shopping experience. Give them a try!

Absolutely love this place!!! My mother purchased my Sr prom dress from here back in 2000 and we were able to get my daughter her dress from here 21 years later!! Cant wait to pick it up!!!

By far the best place to get any dress!! There’s a huge variety to pick from and any dress you could ever think of. Especially a lot of Sherri Hill. The whole staff was extremely helpful and patient as well! Would 100% recommend!!

I love Kotsovos!! I went for both of my proms and found beautiful dresses both times! I got lucky enough to be helped by Nikki today and she did amazing!! Couldn’t have asked for anyone better.

I showed up to this place 20 minutes before closing just wanting to look at a few of the black dresses (not try anything on) and be very quick considering the store isn’t very large. The women who answered the phone said they close at “7” so I replied back with okay well the door is locked. She than replies with “I’m sorry the guys leaving so you can’t look.” Don’t advise a closing time if you don’t follow through with that time. You lock the door at closing time not before. I also tried explaining that I was just wanting to look at the black dresses. Which I figure is not very large selection to pick from anyway, so why I couldn’t look for 10 minutes is ridiculous.

Tina was phenomenal at helping me find the perfect mother of the groom dress. Literally the first dress I tried on I instantly knew it was the dress for me. As soon as we walked in Olivia wss amazing, full of energy, she asked questions and she made us feel amazing. I went there for one dress but i bought a second dress. Purchased prom dress paid over $400.00 in 2020. Prom was canceled due to Covid. Would not refund our money. Poor customer service. Would not recommend purchasing here.

Unfortunately google, will not let me add a second review but only to add to the current one review Ive made. Despite the fact I had two seperate visits to the store weeks apart both- I rate both A Negative 1 star.... This most recent encounter happened yesterday and the world needs to know how they are treating women of color in their establishment! I no longer give these store owners a piece of my mind while there in the store I just come here and let you- other potential customers know whats going on behind closed doors. They will never see me upset but they will definitely have to speak to the general public as to why I was treated the way I was while there attempting to shop and spend money.To recap I made an apt early March for 2 dress fittings; separate days for the month of April. Earlier this month I took my mothers there to see what style dresses they liked. We were treated horribly but so that I dont reexplain it entirely read Visit 1 to see the details as well as the stores response LOL...its terrible. After reading their reply, I assume when I booked this date and told her it was a day of shopping with my moms they expected us to only shop a specific area of dresses which are the ones upstairs. She didnt explain we would try on a mother of the bride dresses from that selection and that selection only, nor while we was there did they state this. My mothers never would wear any of the dresses that were upstairs and wanted to look through the prom dress selection so we did. I see the company did not address any of my other complaints such as the male store owner coming to our fitting room to take away dresses while we were undressing and making a nasty comment - They are very unprofessional and disrespectful there.... FAST FORWARD. Despite my horrible experience weeks earlier I had already scheduled for the second fitting and had told my bridesmaids who had taken the day off work, I decided to simply go again. We were simply looking hoping to gather ideas and to perhaps purchase dresses here if we found things of interest since my actual dress was bought there in the store last year. I kept the apt and was hopeful that this experience would be better. When I arrived yesterday Victoria attempted to deny me an appt stating the didnt have me down for an appt. I showed her my confirmation. Once she saw it, she suddenly remembered that they had cancelled my apt because of my google review last week and my statement to not return. With one of my bridesmaids there with me, I denied that was my review so that we may be serviced. LOL. She began to assist us. Due to covid restrictions my bridal party had to rotate in- one after another. By the 3rd bridesmaid they assumed we werent purchasing dresses that day and all together stopped assisting us. At one point Tina came right on over and straight out asked, So what was your purpose for coming here today? and very rudely. My bridesmaids was disgusted and was not even interested in trying on dresses at some point. I can not tell you how many times Tina referred to us as gals, girls, kiddos. Despite my promise not not let these folks see me sweat, one more kiddo and she was going to get it! We all watched how helpful they were to others, I mean they were grabbing dresses, taking pictures all kinds of nice gestures to everyone in the store expect US. Our money is green and our cards are plastic. I am so over Kotsovos and if you my dear are reading this; SHOPPERS BEWARE! Especially if you are of color. This was my second experience in 2 weeks..even after my review and Victoria suspecting it was me they still were rude and disrespectful. They do not treat people of color with respect. As my friend mentioned to Tina, we have 3 wedding this year- We are spending money on dresses- they do not know whats on people cards but for some reason they assume black people dont purchase dresses- THEY MISSED OUT ON OURS!!!! THEY WILL NEVER GET OUR BUSINESS!!! If you hate bad customer service and perhaps is of color just DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

The store is extremely clean and organized and the customer service is definitely top-notch. They really want you to find your perfect dress. The only downfall, which is entirely situational towards me, is that for my sizing it felt like the availability of dresses was slim as compared to how many dresses you find on their website. But I’d bet that you can probably order what you need through them—I just didn’t even need to bother asking because I found my perfect dress in-store! I would definitely recommend shopping here, it’s very personal and you can even find many of your other accessories there too.

Kotsovos was the best place to buy my prom outfit! As soon as I walked in the door there was someone there to help me. Caitlin was one of the friendliest and most helpful workers! Planning a wedding for my daughter I needed to get a gown for the big day! I was looking for something a little different and not seen multiple times by other mother of the Brides. Well, they delivered and I absolutely LOVE it. Without the help of the qualified staff I would not of been as successful in finding the perfect gown.Thanks to them I am so looking forward to wearing it.

Nice place, lots of choices and I liked the way they helped my daughter out. I just wish they had better financing or payment options. Best they had was layaway. A couple of the other places had better payment options.

We bought Kate’s prom dress there and it’s beautiful but the real magic occurred when Sharon (their incredible seamstress) was able to redesign the dress to enhance its beauty for Kate 5’3” frame. I’m the Mother of the bride who recently traveled from Michigan to Cincinnati to look for a dress. I heard good things about Kotsovos from my niece and decided to give them a try. Great experience! Attendant was very kind and knowledgeable not only of inventory, but also of dress alterations and fits. Loved how dresses were organized by size and not be brand. All attendants were friendly and were willing to help button or zip when needed.

My experience with Olivia at Kotsovos was great! It was my first appointment ever trying on wedding dresses, and Olivia made me feel comfortable and at ease. She listened to my concerns and took my insecurities into consideration when pulling gowns. I appreciated that she did not try to coerce me to try on dresses out of my comfort zone. Although, it was only my first appointment, Olivia helped me narrow down three gowns I loved. I had scheduled other dress appointments elsewhere for the following days. Olivia encouraged me to go ahead and make another appointment at Kotsovos (knowing I could always cancel), in case I wanted to retry those three gowns again. I am glad I made the second appointment, because I wound up going back and buying my wedding dress! Olivia was very helpful in addressing my concerns I had about possible alterations and even was able to Facetime in the seamstress who Id be working with for reassurance. Olivia is professional, efficient, and someone who cares about her job and the brides shes working with. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with her and highly recommend future brides to make an appointment with her at Kotsovos.

My experience at Kotsovos was great! I came to find my senior prom dress and I left with one! The selection of dresses was great. Kotsovos had a huge variety of dresses in different shapes, styles, and colors. I had a hard time deciding between dresses because I loved them all. I received great, individualized attention from multiple consultants. Whether it was helping me zip up dresses, offer suggestions, or simply give me compliments, the consultants helped me tremendously. I’d recommend any high schooler looking for a prom dress to go to Kotsovos!

I’ve been to Kotsovos for every school dance I go to and they never disappoint! Kotsovos has an amazing array of dresses! The seamstress Sharon is so sweet and had my dress done in no time! Also, we were helped out by Emily Stevens while looking for a dress! She is such a huge help and really sweet! If you’re looking for a beautiful definitely go to Kotsovos! You won’t regret it!

We have been shopping here for several years and always find a perfect dress for our events. After finding the perfect dress, we take our dress down stairs to Sharon for alterations. She always goes above and beyond. We highly recommend coming here for both customer service and a great experience.

We came to Kotsovos from Louisville, KY because we heard that the selection was really good. We were so pleased to find my daughter’s prom dress. She tried on many colors and styles and wasn’t rushed at all. She has bad scoliosis and we needed to do a lot of work on making the dress fit just right. We also chose to change the bottom, removing some of the train in the back. Also, there was quite a lot of hemming with multiple layers of fabric. Sharon was amazing and her side kick Alex was precious. They worked wonders and made my girl just beam. Anna gave Sharon hugs and kept saying how pretty she felt. Thank you for that! I know her Prom will be so special!

If you have any event requiring a dress, this is the place you NEED to go! Upon walking in the door, you’re greeted by one of the staff members and they get to work to help find you a gown or dress based off your event type. So accommodating, so friendly and so knowledgeable of designers (in which they have a HUGE range from American designers to European designers, etc.). Hands down the best dress place in the city!

Amazing shopping experience. My daughter and her friends loved their stylist Ciara. She was friendly, and even offered great suggestions of styles and colors. All I heard the whole ride home was how much fun they had and how they cannot wait to come back to shop for their senior prom dresses!

My family and I went there for the first time yesterday looking for my prom dress. The outside of the building dont do the inside justice. The inside is beautiful and there were a wide variety of dresses, not to mention the amount of help I received. Kate, my helper, was there to help when I needed a zip and was very positive and confidence boosting. Overall I 10/10 recommend as long as you are open for help and are willing to spend a chunk of money for your perfect night :)

This place is great! I came in with my niece to get her a new dress for a school dance and there were so many options to choose from. And the customer service was great. I believe her name was Emily. She did a great job helping my niece find what she wanted and was very helpful throughout the whole process. Will definitely be coming back!

Such a wonderful experience prom dress shopping for my daughter! They have a huge selection of dresses by many different designers! Amanda was so gracious and helpful!!! She really took her time to listen to my daughter and helped her pick out what style and dress she was wanting!! I just wish i would have known about this shop sooner! I have been a Kotsovos customer for many years. I plan a large event every year which are typically black tie, and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else to purchase my gown.In addition to purchasing an amazing gown, that I know no one else will have, I cannot speak highly enough of Sharon Arnett who is an alteration expert. I purchased a dress a couple of years ago that was smaller than I needed and the zipper wouldn’t go up. Sharon took the zipper out and installed a corset, which was life changing. The dress was not only perfect, but fit me like a glove. She is also so sweet and greets you with a hug and a smile.

Best experience ever! I was really stressed out about shopping for my wedding dress, but my experience at Kotsovos was not even close to stressful! They take care of you like you are a member of their family. I found my dream dress within 40 mins and had plenty of laughs along the way. I could not have dreamed of a better experience. I most definitely recommend Kotsovos for anyone shopping for a wedding dress!!

Beware, when they measure you, and place the order for your dress. You are given the impression they are ordering your size, and it will fit your body type. There are no returns, and the dress that was was ordered for me would have had to have been taken apart and remade for an additional $200.00 on top of my $450.00 mother of the groom dress. If you complain profusely, you will be lucky quote to get an in store return. Good luck, because they only carry one size in each dress, and they wouldnt order my size for the exchange. I wound up with a winter hat and scarf I would never have spent that kind of money on.

Kennedy was great! She was very knowledgeable about the shop and helped me pick out lots of options to find me the perfect dress :) The whole process went very smoothly.

I had the BEST experience with Sharon, the seamstress! She is very friendly and professional, and her work is excellent. She is an artist! Olivia was the very helpful and sweet salesperson I worked with. I will buy from Kotsovo’s again.

I had an amazing experience. I was greeted with a very friendly smile. Their consultant, Kate, listened to what I needed and wanted for my sister’s wedding and did exactly that. I was in and out. She was fast and knew exactly what she was talking about. The experience all around was fun, welcoming and very easy. Kotsovos, you are amazing. And Kate, you are an absolute delightful woman. Went shopping here for prom dresses, and all the employees were very positive and helpful and made my friends and I feel very comfortable. Kate helped the 3 of us pick out dresses and suggested others based on the styles we liked. They had a very good selection for all sizes which we were incredibly thankful for :)

The selection was amazing and worth the drive. My daughter loved having her own personal stylist. Ciara was absolutely fabulous! She let my daughter and I pick out dresses to try as well as her choosing some for my daughter. She knew exactly what my daughter was looking for just based off of what she described.
