It seemed like no one really wanted to help us - despite being there mid day at our scheduled time,But they gave us a truck without a hassle, so can’t complain too much.

So i found a loophool on there system, if you plan to move out of state and rent a trailer. I would consider doing a local tow and add 2 to 3 extra days on top of your rental, its cheaper and i have helped my friends move easily and way, WAY cheaper. I would have spent $959 in the rental instead I paid $167. Great loop hole if you ask me

Staff was very fast and helpful getting me checked in and out. He helped load the truck with my supplies. Entrance and exit are very easy. I really appreciate how easy it is to get back on the highway with the truck.

We reserved a 6x12 trailer on this location and since we are coming from San Bernardino 321 miles 6 hr drive we got there early. They told me that the trailer wasn’t available at this location and I will have to drive to another location 21 mins away. Why in the first place they told me that the trailer will be available there One day before! And then the guy not even say I’m sorry for the inconvenience or anything like that so rude!

Great staff and easy to work with. I have used them 5 times so not a one time thing. Always a good experience even when the moves werent.

Got my hitch installed here with no issues a few weeks back.Today I realized i would need a different sized hitch ball and Rodrigo helped me out by removing my old one and putting in the new. The service was fast but the condition of the trailer is sketchy. one tire is bald on the inside, and one fender too close to the tire for comfort. a running light is dim or off. Do better yall 4 of 5.

Worst costumer service, tried getting a trailer for a 1 way for the weekend was told there was no enclosed but there was an open 5x9 go to look at the 5x9 and wait for the gal to come back she then proceeds to tell me she has nothing available this place is a joke and terrible staff thanks for the wasted 40 minutes

Was told I would have my u-nox ready at 5 today and they had me waiting like 15-20 minutes cause they didnt have it ready. They really need more help so now I have to make an extra trip in the morning to get my bed!!

Packed up our Ubox with household goods for shipment across the US. All members of the staff we dealt with over three days were extremely helpful. In addition to Uboxes, they have vans and trucks for rental. We rented a van to move the goods from the apartment (apartment complex had non- existent space to place the Ubox) to the Uhaul facility for packing.in the Ubox. Highly recommend this location for service and great staff.

Employees are very knowledgeable and go out of their way to help you out.

Awful customer service at the Del Monte location. Avoid this place if you can. There was a miscommunication regarding my return invoice. Could have easily been resolved with a genuine apology for the inconvenience. The customer service rep Russell couldnt be bothered to have any accountability over the locations mistake, instead pointed finger at Alfredo and told me to contact him if I wanted an apology since that is who helped me. Do you not both work for the same company and are expected to have the same customer service? Russell clearly hates his job.

We use uhaul all the time and this location has a few good people but that was not the case this morning when we showed up and where greeted by a young I think his name was armondo or alfredo green shirt I think he may have been the boss those poor employees. . He was very rude and short with us and those around him and honestly I am not sure how he still has his job there uhaul is almost always a good experience with great people but he is a bad apple that they need to let go of it cost the location almost $500.00 on a reservation I had that i am now taking to another location. We will continue to use uhaul but i will definitely recommend to call ahead and steer clear of this guy. Thanks for reading.

Poor planning for rentals on their part usually had no problem before.

Good vehicles available and convenient location. However, people who work here are a bit cold and unfriendly in dealing with customers. They also dont provide you with all the details you would need. You have to keep asking them questions to get the answers you need. When I rented a van from there, I didnt even get any information about how to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. I had to figure that out for myself, since it was my first time driving such a vehicle.

Plan to stand in line for a while.

Terrible experience. Reserved U boxes one month in advance for a move. I came in today to load the boxes and was told they did not have any. They did not call me ahead of time so I could find another moving company. Now I am stuck having to move my stuff next week after working a 24 hour shift at the hospital. Do not use this company- the complet lack of organization and their complete disrespect for customers and their time is horrific.

Made a reservation a week early and they called me less than 24 hours before I’m moving 6 hours away to tell me the truck wasn’t available!!!! Good thing Penske was cheaper anyway!!! GO PENSKE!!!

I wish there was an option of no star. I could not pick up the truck at the time it was suppose to be picked up. I had to take an in town truck and the gentlemen at the store made me a deal of not paying for miles, however the bill came and he never resolved this problem. Now I wanted to rent a truck but I cant because apparently I owe money to U-haul. Stay away from this location

Location was convenient and facility was large and well organized. The UHaul representative was aloof and disinterested in helping me find alternative storage so I could return my UHaul trailer. UHaul should not offer one-month free storage if they cant deliver and their representatives should be somewhat interested in their product/service and helpful. I do not recommend this UHaul site.

This was the most seamless check in/out process I’ve had in a long time. The associates at both ends of my visit clearly knew what they were doing. Both were efficient, informative, friendly without going overboard, and helpful. Plus the location was s right there at the Hiway 1 on ramp. This will be my Uhaul rental spot from now on.

I will never rent from uhaul again. I never had issues with my bank card and uhaul until i rented at this location. I rented a truck on a saturday, charges were changed and posted same day to my account. Three days later I am charged the deposit fee on my account. Then told it was all my banks fault. No resolution, just deflection. Terrible customer service. Would definitely not recommend friends and family to use uhaul unless you want charges to show up days later. My bank is excellent on keeping track of my pending transactions so to blame a 3 day later charge on them has created this review. And I am told refund of deposits is 3-5 business days, well the charge showed up on the 3rd business day. Just avoid the aggravation and dont use uhaul.

Upon arriving, the national internet server was down.. we had traveled 2 hours to find the trailer we needed.. Del Monte did not disappoint!! They were able to get us set up and on the road in spite of the road blocks

This is the best place to rent from in Monterey, Seaside, Marina... Its not owned by a private party so its quicker to book and get what you want instead of mix ups like some of my friends experienced with other U-huals in the area.The staff is kind and very accommodating. My friends car broke down and we wanted to check and see if there are any vehicles and towing trailers available. Talking to the staff here was quicker than calling someone at U-hauls toll free number because they have connections around the area and can immediately find out within minutes instead of hours.

These guys were easy to work with and allowed me to make changes and remained friendly.

I rented the truck last night and loaded everything and couldn’t get door shut, so we had to take everything out.When we returned it, the general manager did nothing to compensate except give reprieve on gas...Their machinery is broken and then they charge you full price—then they tell you it’s your fault.Horrible customer service!
