I’m pretty new to motorcycles and brought my bike in for some clunky shifting and oil change/general maintenance. Mike was quick to respond on the phone and was always courteous at shop, giving me and my bike his full attention when I stopped by. I also didn’t pay too much attention to it, but my bike was sounding louder than usual the week before I brought it in. Super thankful that Mike identified a broken header on the exhaust! He talked over all the options for me and in the end, he helped me install an aftermarket exhaust from Ebay. He even gave me some tips on how to improve my riding. Overall, I’m very pleased with the service that I received and would definitely recommend Mike to anyone needing motorcycle repairs in the area!
Great little shop, very helpful owner and nice to have a chat with a fellow enthusiast. Did me a great deal on Dunlop tires. I will definitely be back.
My bike broke down due to a blown stator on a 2 week motorcycle trip, at Ragged Point. I had it towed to Seaside Superbikes on a Sunday, and Lyfted my way over in the morning on Monday. Mike was immediately able to diagnose my issue, from the description, and verified it. He had the parts ordered and delivered next day (Tuesday), and I was back on the road linking up with my roadmates that afternoon. He saved my bacon, and my trip, at a fair price. He also did not seem to mind me asking him all sorts of questions to expand my own knowledge.
The Peninsulas hidden gem for motorcycle repairs. Mike and Emma were able to repair my motorcycle that was knocked down by someone and made it look like it never happened. Mike was very attentive and helpful throughout the whole process and I am extremely happy with how my motorcycle Looks! Will definitely return for all of motorcycles servicing needs.
Mike and Emma were great to interact with. Extremely helpful, knowledge, and very personable. I only needed a new tire but they went out of their way to help. Will definitely come back whenever I need anything for the bikes.
They are very nice and personable looking out for my safety first is important. Emma and Mike keep a clean shop and very organized. Thank you for just being you!
I showed up with a nail in my tire late in the day, and Mike dropped what he was doing to help me out.Ultimately, it made more sense for me to get towed home than to wait until the morning for the right tube to be delivered, but I appreciate that Mike was willing to squeeze me in on short notice to take care of me.Friendly, courteous, and professional. If Im in the area again and I need anything, I will call Seaside Superbikes first!Thank you, Mike!!
This is by far the best bike shop ever (and Ive been to quite a few)! Always friendly, helpful, and able to take excellent care of our older cruisers. Thank you Mike!!
Seaside Superbikes recently did an inspection of my electric Empulse tt. They are awesome. Very detailed in their explanation of the assessment process, time frame and cost. And their summary of observations was thorough and objective. Emma is excellent and paid great attention to the bike and explanation of the bike on general. There is a great wealth of knowledge at Seaside Superbikes. Thank you for being there for the moto community.
I went to Seaside Superbikes because my son had his Suzuki worked on here. I went there with a simple issue and Mike has got that handled. Ive got an upcoming service he will do before spring for a very reasonable price.I read the reviews here. I wanted to weigh in. Mike and Emma will service my bikes as long as I have them.
All the cats here are cool. Extremely knowledgable. Extremely courteous. Took care of me. Recommended by Newman Bros Tire.
When my tire blew on 1, Seaside Superbikes managed to fit me in. Mike and Emma were extremely professional and managed to get me back on the road in less than a hour. They are the best bike mechanics I’ve had and will definitely be going back
Mike came highly recommended by a motorcycle instructor I know, and the recommendation was well-warranted. Mikes a true professional, runs a small, tight operation and provided great service for an exceptional price. He went above and beyond to help me out with my cruiser. Communication through the entire repair was exceptional. The best shop Ive ever dealt with (from NC to TX to CA).
If you had a neighbor who just happened to be a highly qualified motorcycle mechanic and had every tool needed to do anything. Now your neighbor says hey bring your bike to me and I will fix it, that is how it felt the first time I stopped by to see if they could help me with restoring a 1998 VFR.Mike and Emma treated me the way I have always wanted to be treated when I talk to someone about modifications for adding performance.Just give them a call and see what I mean.
Got my Onewheel tire swapped by Emma here, even though it is not their expertise. This was the fifth shop I visited. All other shops had turned me away. They also coated the scratches I made on the rim when I tried and failed. Awesome!
I stopped by just to check our the shop since I am from out of town. Mike was friendly and knowledgeable. Man, I hope folks patronize him and especially buy some parts, because small businesses like his need the love. Yeah, you might save a few pennies ordering online, but who is going to be there for you when its the night before an event and you realize you need some expert wrenching? Please give this micro business some of your repair and parts traffic.
Last weekend me and a bunch of friends from Vegas headed for the coast to get away from the Heat! On our journey South I experienced a major Tire issue on our ride North on PCH 1. Our group was not too far from Carmel when I called Mike on Saturday morning. He told me that he is closed on the weekends but was willing to go get his trailer and drive 10 miles to pick up my bike. This was special! Mike dropped everything to get me back on the road to Vegas not a single complaint about what he charged for his time on a Saturday thank you Mike!
Awesome jog on dads bike we like the work. Good man Good business. Looking forward to bring the bike in again.
Great shop. Mikes communication was thorough throughout the repair of my bike, and the final price was much lower than the quote. Excellent service.
Its a great shop and mike is very knowledgeable. He pretty much knows everything there is to know about fixing bikes. Prices are very reasonable.
I went here not too long ago to get a tire mounted and left with mixed feelings. On the one hand, they gave me a pretty decent price with no hidden fees ($50 to mount+$4 if you wanted them to dispose of it.) But they also recommended $1200 in repairs. That wouldnt have bothered me, but they quoted me $360 for parts I can get for $70 plus another $120 for labor. They also wanted to charge an outrageous amount to change my oil and spark plugs. Id recommend the tire mounting, but Id probably just stick to doing the small stuff myself.
This place is top of the line! Mike knows exactly what he is doing. Just went in for a tire change and got much more. No other place will give you bang for buck like this place.Thank you mike for the extra work, you will be seeing more of me and my family in the future.
Michael and Emma are consummate professionals when it comes to the business of motorcycle repair. My VMAX, Shadowfax, The Elder, was given the death sentence at another shop, and they were able to get it diagnosed and running seemingly better than the day I bought it (and I bought it at a dealer), in less than 5 hours!!!After being told I would need some major engine work at the first shop, I was hesitant to pay for a second look to potentially hear the same woeful news. However, when I pulled up to Seaside, Michael greeted me with a smile and firm handshake. And then I met Emma, whos genuineness and can-do attitude left me at complete ease. Not to mention, Michael was kind enough to shuttle me from and to the shop!Turns out instead of an engine rebuild, I simply needed a carb sync and some spark plug love. Emma was very knowledgeable when it came to the VMAX, and when she told me the post-repair test-ride put a huge smile on her face, I was definitely excited to ride this beast again :DIm still so grateful and blown away, that Michael and Emma were able to not only diagnose, but so expertly fix an apparently dead motorcycle in such a short time. This was a truly amazing experience, and Seaside Superbikes has definitely earned another loyal customer in me. Thank you so much, Michael and Emma!- Shea
I came in just for an oil change, chain and sprocket replacement. I was informed that my bike should have a checkup since it was sitting at 25k miles and I said ok. They gave me a quote and were inside that quote after the work they did was complete. They warned me of things that were wrong and i gave the go ahead after they gave me another quote. The end price was a bit less than they quoted (usually its more from my experience) and all the issues are fixed that i had been worried about. All in all I am very happy and i would recommend this shop to anyone as they are honest and explain things very well to the rider.
Miss Emma is the best. Followed her from Monterey
Amazing place. From what I understand its a one man operation, and this one man took time out of his very loaded schedule to order a part for me I couldnt find online. He was very helpful and willing to listen to me, which is much more than I got from a couple of other places in the area (coughMPScough). Im disappointed there arent more reviews for this place. He seems like he really knows what hes doing and loves what he does. Ill be taking my bike in for maintainence. Bring your bike here, especially if you want race tuning.
Great prices honest guy Id recommend going here and Im very picky where I go and who I trust working on my bike also support your local businesses!
Superbike Mike is way cool and gets the job done.
Mike is my GO TO guy for all my motorcycle repairs. Always good, fast service!
Great, friendly service
Mikey knows whats up and hell get you sorted!
This guy is the best!
