The cashier was supposed to give me 50% off one of our items from upstairs and they didnt (cashier didnt take 50% off the item, after asking us about the items she asked if there were 2 items from upstairs told her it was only the 1). When I noticed later I brought the receipt back and they refused to honor their discount.I went to look at the tag to see if I was mistaken and it was marked down from $30. These cheapskates marked up the item from 12.99 to 14.99 (tourist season huh?) And still didnt honor the 50% they promised when it came from that section. The more this story unravels the worse it gets.

Nice place. A little crowded with stuff. But people are pleasant prices are to be expected for a tourist area and the views are great.

Ive been stopping in here for almost 40 years. I always get something cool to take home. Ive always loved this place. They have a little bit of everything. Keep up the good work. Ill see you next time Im in town.

Beware that you can NOT return anything you buy here. Not even the next hour or the next day. They don’t tell you that and they don’t give you a receipt when you pay cash. I tried, but they got very rude about it.

Good experience. compared to the other gift shops around there, this shop was my favorite.

I love just wandering around inside wishing I had enough money to load up. LOL But always find a little souvenir that satisfies my impulsive urges without breaking any piggy banks. I found some cute new solar Wobbles my grandson and I love to watch.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. I was there today. I was looking at the lighthouses and they were all crammed together on a glass table. I grabbed a larger one to look at the price and three lighthouses fell on the ground. I immediately apologized and explained that I was just trying to see the price that was located on the bottom of the product. The lady said I had to buy something in the store that was the same price or higher than the $7.99 lighthouse I ACCIDENTALLY knocked over. Then, on top of that, the store employee hovered over me and followed me all around the store like I was a criminal or someone trying to walk away from my mistake. I ended up having to spend $7 on some cheap plastic magnet that I didn’t want just so I could leave the store. I will never return nor do I advise ANYONE to go here. It was ridiculous how poorly they treated me.

Very rude owner and employee. While picking up a item to view the price off a extremely cluttered and uneven shelf, something else fell off due to the weird angle it was on. The owner shouted down saying we have to buy something equal or more expensive. I kept looking around to see if there was anything of interest only to find one of the employees was following me around like I was a thief. I did end up purchasing something just to not deal with the headache of them.

The lady working, seemed like the owner was rude we came in 20 minutes before close, was rushing us out, the guy working(seemed like the associate) was super nice and customer service oriented, which I appreciated. Im a Store manager in retail and honestly if people are in my store at close i dont rush them, I give them the best happiest experience I can give them. I saw things I wanted to buy but refused to purchase because of how rude the lady was. Its about the experience and obviously that last doesnt get that.

Harbor House has a beautiful variety of items. Recently visited California & bought all of our souvenirs there. Our family members loved the unique gifts we brought home. We lost one of our pieces of jewelry we bought there, and Mary helped us w replacing it & mailing it to us.
