This isnt a store I visit often but when I do I always have fun. You never know what they are going to have. Sometimes Im surprised by some of the products for the price.

In these pandemic days, I am reluctant to give anyone a negative review because we all need to stick together. However, my experience was so obviously a rip off that I feel obligated to write a warning about this store.I had a purchase and cash back of $14.38 as the cashier informed me the transaction was declined.Knowing there were adequate funds in my account, I knew it was their error. The cashier said to put it through again. I should have walked out the door. The second charge went through and as I checked my banking app, two transactions for $14.28 showed up as card purchases from this store.I immediately informed the cashier who ignored the error and continued to help her customers. The manager made me wait 30 minutes so she could help her customers. Finally they pushed me off on the freight guy who made their theft of my money an amusing game for their customers.If you try to get your money back from a Dollar Tree, you have to call an automated corporate number and never get a call back. I have never seen a store that so obviously double charges a customer yet refuses to correct their error.I love the dollar concept but if I am billed twice with no recourse of getting my money back, the value goes right out the window.

I go to the Dollar Tree all the time, and even if there are some negatives, it is hardly fair to complain; think about i? each item, costs only a dollar.Staff, is just great. For the their sake, I would like to see them have morehelp and hopefully, that will happen. In the meantime, I am grateful there isa store like it, in my area. I can buy so much there, for such an amazing price; items that I use every day i.e. bathroom cleaners, art supplies, kitchen requirements, in fact too many, to list here. The clerks areefficient, fast, friendly and would be an asset to any store, large or small,simple or posh. I hope the owner appreciates them. I do for sure!I will continue to frequent The Dollar Tree, and without any doubt atall, it deserves 5 stars.I am giving this Do

The manager is totally rude and ugly disposition!There are MANY others that agree with me!Lets start a petition to get someone else!Ive been in this area for 3 yrs and her attitude is still same!RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, UNKIND! Unacceptable if you dont like people this is no suited for you LADY.

Ever since jack left management position this dollar tree has stepped up on organization.. but lately they are slacking on restocking or forgetting to order way more things theyve previously had.

Everything youd expect a dollar store to be. A little messy but friendly staff. Lots of finds.

Clean (except when stocking shelves, of course) and well organized. Plenty of variety, always very nice staff. Is usually busy, except early in ams. Always my first grocery stop. But I NEVER go to the Seaside store. Its always a horrible ness!

This has nothing to do with products some brand name brand items are terrific. We are in the middle of a pandemic. Terrific idea to let just 10 customers in at-a time. Problem is cashiers are not wearing face masks. I Was not happy. Masks and or a mouth covering are not the most comfortable item to wear but this is a crisis. I will not go back until after this is over although I heard the Gov of California is requiring masks on all customers and workers Starting April 10th. We will see if your workers comply. This is for their safety more than customers because they interact with many people a lot day.

Its very nice having a Dollar Tree around since there are always things that are better to get here. I only marked it down 1 star because Ive come in several times for little things that I always come in for that were out of stock at this location (example - toilet brush, speed stick deodorant). Otherwise, its a decent store just like any other Dollar Tree.

Has parking, great verity of products and clean. I usually find what Im looking for. They could use a few more workers on the floor.

Brand shiny new and full of everything. Please keep it pristine with some semblance of pride of ownership and dont let it go to seed like the one down the street. And many other ones, lol.

I love shopping at the Dollar Tree. You can find all kinds of bargains. Great place to buy your Halloween candy and their Awesome Laundry prewash is better than any of the expensive ones you buy at grocery stores.

Male manager was rude and insulting, yelled at a child dropping a ball on the floor... approached us to complain and his breath smelled like alcohol at 4pm... definitely would not recommend visiting this store.

The Monterey store is cluttered and messy. I was able to find what I needed. The Seaside DollarTree is cleaner and organized.

Awesome selection of products, bought loads of cleaning supplies for our move and paid $50 👍

Monterey Dollar Tree is a mess right now. So many boxes evrywhere and no helium. Had to go to Seaside for ballons.

Hey Man! What can I say? I HATE to cook BUT check this out!!! I dont need to anymore. Or not as much and Dennys can wait! Yesss! This place is AH-mazing!!! EVEN if you live with a bunch of anorexic vegetarians (just kidding, but you know who you are ;-) They have a ton of meals that are vegetarian, vegan, meat ta tarian, sweet-tooth friendly, basic (beans n rice) with many types of salsa, good brands too, and even good quality fish, eggs, etc. Go HERE 1st before you go anywhere else. Seriously!!! And they also have those luxury spa thingees that you always want but which are hideously overpriced. They have a whole new line which are high quality and luxurious. Ill never go back to using any other facial wipes and bath products. This place was good before but now they are da Bomb and my Main Store.
