The lattes are just average but the regular coffee is good...and the English muffin and toast are exceptionally fantastic! Loved the ham egg and swiss! Very nice woman and young man who served us! Quiet and cozy and very convenient to fishermans wharf and on the way to cannery and aquarium!

Cute, homey, mom & pop type of vibe. The staff was very friendly and for breakfast, it was absolutely packed. I ordered an acai bowl and a waffle to share with my friend. Had no idea how hard it would be to find an acai bowl in Monterey. They do a nice job with it, and the consistency wasn’t runny as it is with a lot of places who try to do them. The waffle was also good - order it crispy!

Good vibes. Good food. Friendly and helpful staff. The acai bowl seemed to be the most popular. It was very good! The paninis were pretty good too. The smoothies (we got 2) were just okay. Stick with the acai bowl! I also got a vanilla macadamia coffee. It was good. If you like the lighter, sweeter roasts, you’ll like it. Don’t add cream and sugar since that ruins the coffee flavor!

There was no social distancing when we were in line. Way too many people in the cafe! Other cafes I have been recently made it clear about 6 feet apart and limit the amount of people. But it seems like this place doesnt really care. The long hair lady did not wear a mask and the other guy wore one but under his nose!!! So we left the place because we did not feel comfortable.

This is a small and cute coffee shop! Staff was friendly! They serve healthy breakfast items! I ordered Kona coffee and açaí bowl.Kona coffee: it was brew perfectly. I am picky on my coffee and I dislike coffee that has a sour after taste. This coffee has no sourness as all! Love it!Açaí bowl: it served with honey, granola, banana, strawberries, and blueberries. It was not too sweet, and it was very refreshing! Will come back for sure!

I did not like the Açai bowl. It was tart and tasted fairly bland beyond the tartness. Peanut butter was not an option here. The owner interrupted the conversation I was having with my friend because he heard is taking about working out and weights. He was quite nice, but his interruption was not at all welcome. He interjected about his own experiences and then spent five minutes telling us how and why his açai bowls are better than other places, including why they dont offer peanut butter in their bowls. I must not be in the upper echelon of açai bowl consumers.I would 100% look for another açai place the next time Im in Monterey. It wasnt a bad experience, but it wasnt a good one either.

The owner doesnt believe in following the safety protocol and guidelines setup for Covid-19. He didnt wear a mask and social distancing isnt enforced.Being a survivor of Covid-19 as well as a victim of this harsh pandemic I will make it my mission to alert everyone I know to avoid this disgusting business.Proof of the owner being cited can be found in the local newspaper the Monterey Herald.I know I will never set foot in this deplorable business ever again. I honestly believe it should have been shut down.

Great coffee imported from Hawaii. Prices are $6 for a large. They also serve very healthy and good breakfast and lunch light menu mostly consists of fresh fruits, Turkey, eggs, bacon combination. They also have waffles with fresh fruit. Place is small with limited free street parking. Most expensive thing on menu is about $10.00. If you like fresh and health with great and friendly smile from the employees, then you must go here. Restrooms are amazingly clean as well.

I recently visited monterey and stayed there for a few days and was craving healthy food (esp acai bowls), while living in a hotel room. I found this place on yelp and went to get an acai bowl- it was sooo filling and amazing! I added almond butter and bee pollen. SO YUMMY. I went back every morning that I was there .... a little obsessed but for good reason. The owner and his wife were too kind also! It brought me joy during my trip for sure. Really disappointed that the owner pulled his mask down and approached us to speak to us - about how the Covid-19 data and death counts are a lie. He kept his mask down for most of the time he was speaking to us, and when his mask was on, his nose was out. He didnt keep 6 feet distance even though there are signs on the floor for customers. It really just set a bad example and its frustrating hes spreading misinformation about the coronavirus. Wont be back.

First time at Aloha Coffee and Cafe. I had a da green bowl and it was fantastic! The service was good and the cafe was nice and clean. The down side is the price. Small place which is easy to drive by, but a great stop for a warm or cold drink, smoothie, or quick bite. Real fresh fruit is used in the smoothies and bowls - looks and tastes great. Absolutely fantastic staff! They are very personal and make sure that you get exactly what you want. It is family owned by a couple who visited Hawaii and got inspired which I think is fantastic. The environment is clean and relaxing and their menu is wonderful and was happy to know they have Acaì bowls. They arent your typical Starbucks so if youre looking for that this is not your place. Its better than that. Will be coming back again and again! Loved it and love to support small businesses. Great job!!!

I enjoyed my da green bowl even though it wasnt really a bowl. The base to topping ratio was good, however it was still missing something (not honey). Maybe a variety of fruit on top or nuts or more crunch, other than more granola. Im glad they had gluten free granola to accommodate and Elouise loved her hot cocoa.
