What a find! The Mexican Fiesta Omelet-On-A-Bagel is the best bagel sandwich I’ve ever had… just the perfect amount of spicy bite with a very generous amount of avocado.

It’s good but their bagels are greasy, little on the pricey side and very small.Perk is they have a drive thru.

Got two different types of bagels to go. The bagels themselves were too tough and the deli meats were just average.

Such great bagels and a unique expanded menu. No other bagel place compares. I have been going here for 40+ years. I moved away to San Jose and still come here when Im in Monterey. I miss having it just around the corner.

These guys were the best, oh my goodness. We love to try the downtown monterey quick eats. But this place, has the bagel business on lock, you want fre shava cado? Bam! you want tons of bacon? Bam! you want have a salmon on your bagel? Bam! Not to mention the super soft breads, and other fun stuff like bageldogs, croissants filled with cheese, hot links, chocolate etc. Etc.

Love this place and I am a regular. ONLY feedback is that the multiple times we purchased coffee it was pretty terrible. Either too weak to be coffee or tasted like burnt toast. Staff are always friendly and speedy! Also the chocolate croissants are AMAZING

This is the best meal we’ve had by far since we arrived in Monterey. And you can’t go wrong with their prices. Their fresh OJ. Their fresh coffee!!!! Geez. It’s really the truth when they say mom pop shops are the best places to eat at. It’s not the prettiest BUT it’s the best food choice we’ve had!!!!!! We are so freaking happy finally. YESSSSSSSSSSI was so disgusted with food bc of the terrible places we ate at that costed 4x the money!BUT SOOOOOOO HAPPY WE CAME INTO THIS BAGEL SPOT. Even my son is happy and he’s the pickiest person on this universe.Thank you 💖💖💖And people make sure you tip!!!!!! Stop being stingy with your dollars and tip. Seriously. There is always a line in the mornings. It’s just that good! You know a solid local bagel breakfast spot by the patrons and raving fans. This is it. I love the Asiago with strawberry cream cheese. Everything is great thoughThere is some seating inside, it does get full quickly.

Great bagels made in-house! A good but not overwhelming variety of bagels and spreads to choose from. I got the onion bagel with lox spread, which was awesome! Only downside was that the onions got burnt during toasting.

Almost every morning they get my order wrong. At first I let it go and eat it. After a few times I started asking them to fix the order. They were not very friendly about it nor did they apologize even though its a regular occurence. Today was the last straw as this is now happening almost everytime. I had walked all the way to the water to eat and realized they had completely messed up my order. I asked for honey mustard and they put hummus all over my bagel instead. I checked with the owner before paying and she gave me the honey mustard on the side. Which when I opened it I realized she had given me a side of BUTTER. Butter and honey mustard dont even sound or look similar so Im just confused. When I went all the way back, they did not apologize and seemed annoyed with me. Then informed me that they dont have any honey mustard available. I asked for a refund bc if I would have known that I would have ordered something completely different. I also was just done with the situation and wanted my money back since I couldnt make up for all the time I wasted this morning. And to top it all off the bagels themselves are not always fresh.Im from NY and this place needs some competition bc honestly I would never go back if there was another bagel spot available in the area.Truly missing my NY Delis and Bagel Shops right now. :(DISSAPOINTED.

Good bagels and lots of other breakfast options. The peanut butter is crunchy, which Ive never had at a bagel shop before, and didnt especially enjoy.

I lunch here at least once a week. Get in before 12 though because there is a line. The bagels are delicious and the staff is friendly. A great place to sit in the warm sunshine coming through the big windows and read.

This place messed up on my order 2 times! So I got my money back. They were not polite at all and argued about giving my money back.... It was disappointing service. Also, the frozen drinks did not have the price on them because they are 6$. The worker charged me double thinking I would not recognize or something.... She acted like she could not understand me so I was not to happy about any of this.

Love this place. I really only come here on the 4th of July before the parade. They are busy but usually pretty quick. I love the Sunrise bagel sandwich

Bagel Bakery is a staple for locals and has been for as long as I can remember. Their bagels are unrivaled, their sandwiches & omelette sandos are to die for, and they even offer coffee/espresso/boba smoothies now too. I can almost assure you, you will not be disappointed!

Honestly nothing special. I had an egg sandwich on a bagel, the egg was microwaved. I had to purchase something else because there was a $5 minimum for cards and I didnt have any cash. Was really hoping for something fresh and delicious and got something that would have been better at home.

Ordered a mango-strawberry smoothie, but it wasnt made with actual fruit--just some weird ice cream liquid and flavored powder. The bagel sandwiches were big, but kind of messy and the bagels were kind of stale. Ifb youre starving, this is food--but thats about it.

Good sized burritos, and they put lots of smear on the bagels. The eggs, potatoes, and meat were all cooked in a microwave.

Very ok. Not horrible, not amazing. Bageldog was a bit too greasy and some of the dough was a bit soggy. Bagel and cream cheese was also just ok.

Ive been here a few times and theyve messed up the order the last two times I got takeout. I dont like to leave negative reviews, but they have to listen when we say what we want and properly communicate the order if the pass the responsibility of preparing the food to someone else.

I frequent this place often. The service is fast and friendly. The sandwiches are amazing, and the black milk tea with boba doesnt disappoint. I really cant say enough good things about this place. If its not one of your regular Monterey stops, it needs to be.

Do not go for iced coffee. Hot coffee may not be any better, but I didnt try that one. I asked if they had chai tea, instead it was chai flavored coffee. Cheap, but pretty much lost money since I ended up throwing it away.

Definitely the worst bagel bakery in this area, but I never like going to this location. Today I got the lox bagel(new yorker) and the tomatoes were sour. It was really weird because Ive never had a sour tomatoe before. I dont know what was wrong with it, it didnt seem rotten, but tasted pretty terrible none the less.

This place is a great bagel place. Lots of great vegetarian choices for everyone.

Terrible customer service. Had to wait while one employee helped everyone. Then 2nd employee came and got my order completely wrong. I asked at checkout and was told my order was correct. When I pulled everything out of the bag, I discovered I wasnt given what I ordered. I also did not get a receipt. So I have no idea if I paid for it. When I inquired, I was told I did not order what I said I did. That was a lie. I was then told I could wait in line again. Which would have been another 20 minutes. Will never eat here again.

There is nothing like a warm gooey veggie wrap in the morning. Chewy bagel outside with a soft gooey herb cream cheese, tomato and swiss inside. Delic! This has been my favorite breakfast indulgence for many years. (Be sure to try it, but leave one for me 😊) Excellent service as well!
