Visiting from out of town and I must always get a coin for my collection from an antique store! This store did not disappoint. I found several I was interested in and narrowed it down to these two I purchased. Would definitely recommend taking a walk through if you have the time. In the least, Im sure you will see something that triggers a childhood memory:)
If you love antiques this is the place to go. The selection is quite massive it will be hard not finding something.... Its definitely well lit there are two levels and the entire place is full.... One thing to be careful of is they no longer have the free parking lot next door and do not let your meter expire parking enforcement is definitely on their game in the whole area of cannery row
Everything is overpriced for an antique mall. Cashier is also not very friendly. She had an attitude. People also look at you as if youre going to steal something. Not worth returning.
This is a hug Antique Mall, if you like Antiques definitely stop by. I had a great time, found some great stuff priced really well. After a hour I only finished the first floor.
Loved walking around in here, so many things to see upstairs and downstairs. I could spend hours in here because there’s tons of little hidden gems.
A very good antique mall, like in the old days. Clean, well kept.
My mom, my ESA and I visit Monterey just to go here, we absolutely love it! Now I would have given 5 stars but the past 2 visits havent been the best with 2 specific staff members; a tall, older white woman and an average-height white male who I think had glasses and slightly thinning hair. When we visit we enjoy looking at the antiques, curious by their history and of course I enjoy the aesthetically-pleasing show lots upstairs where I usually take photos of myself in these settings. Now, the second-to-last time we visited, I felt pretty targeted by the lady, I was in the Alice in Wonderland set up lot, admiring the look and really wanted to take a few photos there. It was near closing time in which they made an announcement so I tried to hurry, however I felt someone behind me in the doorway, she stood behind for quite sometime so I didnt take my photos immediately as I got shy. Finally I turn around to acknowledge her presence and she told me in a rude tone that they were closing. Yet, she continued to watch me for a few minutes more and I acted as if I was still looking around because I wanted her to leave so I could take my photos, thats when I noticed one of those dated sliding phones charging on a table next to me so I told her. She replied in a cutthroat absolutely rude tone, I know, this is my space, I hadnt put two and two together but I guess she had thought I wanted to steal her ugly phone which I most definitely didnt (lol) but her attitude and possible racial profiling definitely made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Our last time we visited I did see the lady again but she left us alone, this time we saw the man most definitely too often. Im not sure if its coincidence, if he was actually working on an assignment or what exactly but every 5 minutes (literally) he would come to our area almost speed walking and do rounds. He did this even when we went upstairs and it definitely upset my mother and made our experience subpar. Not sure what he was doing but it felt like he was trying to watch us.Again, I love this place and we visit so often and usually find great deals but these two staff, especially the older white woman make me feel uneasy to return.Aesthetically-pleasing photos for reference are attached
The service and atmosphere was outstanding!!A little pricey and the food we ordered was ok but left us still hungry. I ordered a medium rare ribeye steak and prawns. The three prawns were large and very tasty. The steak was cooked medium well, tough and about a third fat. I asked for some A-1 steak Sauce which for me can save pretty much any steak.Again the service and atmosphere were outstanding so I tipped 30% as I appreciate good service.
This place is amazing! So much cool place in one spot! Theres something for everyone here!
We always go here when in Monterey. They have something for everyone. Lots of deals and things to see. Plan on a few hours in this place it is two stories of antiques. Thank you Cindy.
There is a lot of stuff to look through. I could have spent much longer in the store if I didnt have dinner reservations to get to. I can honestly say that there is probably something for everyone in this store. I definitely will go back when I can take my time to go through everything.
Sooo much to see. Make sure to allow some time to look around. A lot to see.
Went to four different eateries was never greeted or acknowledged young people working the front desks, so I just walked out I’ll spend my money somewhere else.Thank you😁
Most delicious watermellon I have had in years.
Always an excellent experience. No matter how busy they are we always seem to get help in a very timely manner. Great deals too. Be warned, its 2 floors and a LOT to see. Plan on being on your feet for a while and walking a lot.
So many things to look at and different things for everyone. Love going in every time I visit Monterey.
Great place I could spend hours... looking at all the vintage advertisements for General Motors.
Quite a variety of items to look at. Prices seemed fairly reasonable.
Great size, great variety. Not bargain rates.
Amazing collection of goods on 2 floors
Like lots of other antiques stores its a co-op. Huge variety of collections, depending on the sellers. If you like an item, dont hesitate to bargain. I was able to get some price reductions. The members on duty always were helpful and friendly. The store is strategically located right on the multi use trail that connects Fishermen Warf with the Aquarium.
My daughter and I always enjoy going into the Cannery Row Antique Mall. So much to look at! Amazing range of itmes in the store from old vinyl records, to art, clothing, jewelry, and so much more! We go at least 2 times maybe 3 times a month!
Amazing collection but pricing is high.
Full of eclectic and vintage items. Honestly, even if you arent in the market for any goods, its really cool to browse around for an hour and see all the neat bits and bobs the Antique Mall has.
Great shop, variety of beautiful antiques. I always find unique items!
Alot to look at, but alot of the same thing from vendors.
Glad that this shop and other shops are surviving this pandemic. Lots if good stuff here & food near by
Its a great way to relive memories
Little disappointed, didn’t live up to its web site
Love love love this store everytime we come in to Monterey its definitely on the places we go to!
Only antique store in town. Found a fishing lure!
Mind your business. Dont come here
This is full of amazing antiques dating all the way back to the 1600s! I really enjoyed this massive antique department and particularly liked their collection of new and old LEGOs.
This is a great place to go & wonder back in time to see how things were made & used. Its like a treasure chest because you never know what you may find. But if you dont buy or find anything is still a wonderful place to stroll through.
Fun yet bizarre!
My husband and I always make sure to visit this antique mall when visiting Monterey. They have a fun variety of items to look through including vintage clothes, art, jewelry, furniture, dishes, toys, collectibles, and home decor. The employees are friendly and helpful. Purchases from any sellers space may be purchased at the front counter with credit and debit cards accepted as well as cash. They are gracious to have public restrooms available for their shoppers as well as a complimentary coffee station on the second level. They make shopping there a joy!
Make sure you have at least 1 hour, preferably 2 hours to peruse this massive store. Its set up with 100s of seamless booths or niches which are rented out to different dealers. Thats why theres no rhyme or rhythm to where certain items are located. You have to go to each section to see whats there but that half the fun! Unfortunately, our family ended up spending a lot of money here. Fortunately, prices are negotiable! Happy hunting!
Great... Very interesting antiques
Those are old, obsolete or old-fashioned goods, instead of the true antiques.
Super cute!! Got 2 sweaters both in great condition and enjoyed walking around looking at everything :)
This place is great to walk around in and escape the touristy areas nearby. Lots of great treasures and tons of vendor booths to explore in the two floors. Prices vary widely so there’s something for everyone. I found a few antiques to add to my collection for under $10 each. Highly recommend!
Youll never know what youll find. Its easy to get lost and spend hours poking around. The prices are usually pretty reasonable. Just a fun and neat place to be.
Wow this place blew my mind. Ive lived in the Monterey are for over 20 years and never once thought about dropping by. They have a little bit of everything here and all the employees were very helpful. Great place to find that extra special gift.
This was fun place to stop and walk around. Great little shops and boutiques. Didnt live up to all the fuss on the reviews but it was nice. Spent a few hours here and then drove the 17 mile drive which made it a great day.
This is a must-see if you love antiques youre going to love going here it is so cool and I always find something unique
This is not a thrift store - if you’re looking for deals on household items, go to Goodwill down the block. This place sells upscale kitschy antiques and prices vary by vendor. A lot of the stuff here you wouldn’t find anywhere else - there’s an area with thousands of old midcentury magazine advertisements and one can get lost just thumbing through them all. Lots of coin vendors as well, and prices seem reasonable. Great place to go on an afternoon nostalgia trip or feed a collecting hobby.
Love browsing for unique items.
Anything you want to find, you can probably find here. So interesting to just wander.
Love going there. Wonderful opportunity to find something unusual or add to a collection. Worth a try to ask for a better price.
Delightful shop packed with vintage and not so vintage stuff. Give yourself and hour or so to browse and find that gem. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Great place with play prices. Really big and spacious. Will take a while to walk through.
Very nice, lots of stuff
My favorite antique mall on the west coast! Great vintage paper!
An awesome place if you would like to find old and newer Trinkets and Treasures. Be prepared to stay for a long time so that you can look everything over two stories and awesome Treasures I just love coming here something new every time that youll see. I would rather come here then go into any of the other stores in Cannery Row.
Great experience and nice selection!
There is so much to see here. Take your time and stroll through all the areas. You never know what youll find.
Wonderful & beautiful place to look for antique/vintage & semi newer finds . The prices are incredible. Price negotiations are frowned upon due to it not being a flea market. But some Dealers are willing to work with a customer in bulk purchases. Which understable. Dealers definitely find that balance of what the items are worth .More so bring memories of what those treasures offer. Even the semi new items have a nice fit in magnificent building. If you are wanting to visit such a gem and extremely helpful associates. This is the place to visit whether or a local or tourist .There is something for everyone.
Cool place. All sorts of cool and neat trinkets and lots of things you would never think of. I normally am not a huge fan of antiques, but this place was actually really cool and had something for everybody. Highly recommend it if you are in the area.
Too many re-pops and or re productions. Also too many contemporary items .would say 40% or more items are not antiques!!! Totally an imposter of an antique mall!!! Nce place to amuse oneself .
This was one of the best antique malls that Ive been to. It was truly a wonder! Dont go if you are in a hurry you will only be depressed that you have to leave too soon!
This our day trip antique shop in Monterey. Three stories high and 100s of vendors. Awesome stuff from vintage signs to comic books and Hot Rod Mags. Its fun to browse and if you like antiquing as a hobby, youll go nuts here.
This place is like a walk back in time. Theres something for everyone and the prices are decent.
This is a must stop spot if you to Monterey. Something for everyone, and a lot of it! Its fabulous!!!
Need at least 3 hours at this place!
Lots of antiques not what it used to be.
Lots of dealers. Very helpful. Like most antique stores, you have some dealers who really like their items and dont really want to sell them. Most of the prices are reasonable for the area.
Great place, old timey kinda vibe.
Nice and neat. Cubicles of antiques very orderly. They have upstairs and downstairs.
Great to visit
Very Few options to Real Antiques most of the Store is small things and aren’t real antiques some of the stuff is only 7-15 years old. 30 years old equals a antique. It’s not a good store for real antique store. Hopefully they get some real and older antiques. I would stay a way unless you want antiques that is small in size. If you want older antiques look elsewhere.
This place is a cool way to kill an hour. Two floors of unique vendors. I really liked seeing how they set up their spaces.
This place is a lot of fun. It used to be a warehouse and the old bent driven convier which took things to the second floor is still there. There are hundreds of different stalls on the two floors. Some specialized in tools which was great to look through. The staff was very helpful directing me to what i wanted to see. Bathrooms were clean. Parking is free and right next door.
Beautiful day to walk cannery row!
Omg so many beautiful antiquities
The GF really loved this place and refused to leave until they closed. We bought a lot of cool stuff and they had 2 floors so make sure to check out both.
Nice selectio... did not buy but I was ready to get at least one painting. I will come back when I have my own transportation. Individual booths.
I had so much fun exploring this place--its huge, the things they have are awesome, and most prices are pretty reasonable compared to other antique stores. What really impressed me was the customer service. I live out of town and couldnt stop thinking about something I saw while visiting a couple days ago, so called wondering if there was a slim chance they could process the purchase remotely and mail the poster to me. Within 10 minutes, Kieran (spell check, sorry) had texted me saying he found it and processed my payment over the phone. I couldnt believe it! Thanks so much again!
Very cool place... If you are into old antique stuff definitely need to visit this place.... Prices are reasonable but it helps if you know what you are buying and Know the market...
This antique mall rocks
A great place to walk around, look, reminisce, and shop. Not sure we have ever left there without being purchasing something
Nothing like the best antique store ever.do go and enjoy the experience. I did and bought a few items I really wanted.
What a hoot, looking through the entire down stairs and the up stairs, looked and bought stuff, great treasures
Cute antique shop with lots of treasures. They have two floors and are pet friendly. :)
Great spot to spend a couple of hours. If you cant find it there you dont need it. Fantastic selection.
This place is awesome. there are tons of different spaces. we have found some great antiques. in fact, my husband got my engagement ring here and they referred him to where he could get it sized that day so he could propose on our vacation in Paris.
A good, eclectic mix of various collectibles. A great place to kill some time and purchase things here and there.
Like any antique mall, some stalls have better stuff than others...but with two floors worth of stalls you are bound to find some sort of treasure.
Almost too many antiques to see at one time. A good breadth of selection.
Fun place with lots venders selling all kinds of vintage and antiques. You never know what you might find!
So much fun, so many things to look at, and fair prices. Staff is friendly too. Shopping here has become a tradition.
From high end to shabby chic. Good antiques and retro items! Even if you dont purchase something its nice too look around.
