Awesome place to pick up groceries at Wholesale prices! The staff are always friendly and what’s surprising is the people in this area are also very friendly! I like this Costco because they always have what I need in stock and they stock all of the latest items. It’s also a great place to go for a quick hot dog and free drink with a churro on the side all for under 4bucks!!! The check clerks are always so friendly and I’m talking all of them! They must have good customer service training or something.. I don’t live in this area but I always find myself coming here because I know it will go smoothly. Thank you Costco Monterey Park!

Beat deals if u want to buy in bulk. And also dont forget to buy a pizza or a chicken bake on your way out. Its well worth the low price..

Great location with expanding food options near by. Street traffic does tend to slow at the pinch off of the Paramount Street entrance.

I like to shop at Costco from time to time, you will find good things. Today I only went for some popsicles, juice, bread and some pistachios, at least to eat something while watching movies, with this virus it is not convenient to expose ourselves to contagion. Lets continue taking care, taking the necessary precautions.

Great? Organized. Well stocked. But I truly feel until it really is safe to be around people they should only allow 2 adults per family & no kids or Seniors that have compromised immune systems. As a precaution only. To each their own.

The cashier today is TERRIBLE. After He finished all the scan, He taped on the plastic shield/window instead of telling me the total price. I assume my Asian face making him think that I dont understand English. So, instead of telling me or talking to me, He just used his finger and taped on the window. He did not talking to me at all through the whole process. The membership fee is increasing every year and this is the attitude I got. I would change to Sams club. This Costco cashiers always have attitude. Terrible place. They locate at the Monterey Park, but they dont welcome Asian. They should change their location to a place that no Asian at all.

The store is always very very busy and packed with people!!It gets frusterating that some customers take their trolley on the wrong side of the aisles, or they leave them in the middle of it.The employees that work distributing the pizzas, chicken bake, etc, are always amazing, polite, and are quick!!Well, so far, so good.👏👏

Parking not so great. Shopping was fast and easy. Not much samples, so Shopping was EASY. Short lines. I used self checkout, so I went out fast. Well stocked. Lots of water. Friendly and helpful self checkout associate

I love Costco! First of all I got to say everything you buy at Costco is high quality, they dont sell cheap stuff. Second thing I like about this place is always clean and organized not like other supermarkets or stores where you cant even walk through the alleys. Great customer service is another distinctive aspect of having a Costco membership everyone is nice to Customers no matter what. Lastly I can find really good deals very often in all departments.

OMG, all I can say is now I know why I drive all the way to Sams Club in El Monte or Long Beach.Terrible customer service, self chech out is a joke.Costco can definitely take A LOT of pointers from Sams Club. It would make things flow faster and more efficient!

We can always get our groceries shopping done at the Irwindale store. This time we went to Montebello and it was a bit chaotic; lots of people and half empty shelves. We often get our gas there tho.

Reflecting Experience on Tire center. My mother in law went for Tires. Check in started at about 5pm and just now (9:40pm) is the car being given. When asked on a time frame the answer was we cant give you one we will call you when ready. I understand there was no appointment but come on unless its your first day you really cant give a time frame or even say we will finish by our close time. My Mother in Law, wife and my 3 year old son waited and waited, the worst part since no time frame given they stayed there. If they would have known they would have gotten picked up and then came back. Very disappointed, people cannot be treated like this and I hope management makes changes. If any of the employees where in my shoes I know they would be upset also.

Staff was friendly helpful and kept everything clean. Aisles were not cluttered, closed, or blocked. I was able to move freely despite all the customers that were there. Which is sometimes an issue at other Costco locations. I enjoyed the fact that I had the option to opt for self check out. Even the food court was streamlined for faster service. The lines were almost non existent and this was on memorial day weekend. Their restrooms were clean and smelled like they were frequently kept that way. Keep up the good work i will be returning here again. Only downside is that the employees that used to give out the samples are still there but they dont give out samples and are just there for display but thats not really a minus. 😉

I love this Costco. Its really close to my house and always very clean which is important. Its always very busy on the weekends and so is the gas station. But the line for the gas station actually goes a lot faster than you would think. I always get gas during the week in the morning before I go to work . Theres usually not even a line to pump gas.

Kudos to the gas station staff for managing lines of cars that went 30 long in an organized efficient manner on Sunday before labor day. Excellent job!!!

Your typical Costco. Packed with a million people of course. Its pretty clean and one of the newer Costco in the area.

Great selection of products. Caters to the Asian community here as well with usual products found in Asian supermarkets like Chinese sausage, pollack gift sets, bulgogi, and instant pho.

Website lists food court until 8:30, they actually close at 6. I didnt get to order because I got there at literally 6:01. To make it worse, we just flew in to town and I didnt know the food court is located OUTSIDE. I was inside looking for the food court. By the time I asked an associate about the food court, he said it was outside. We walked out there to see the man at the counter being helped. I got in line. When that man finished, I walked up and the employee said sorry, that was the last one, we are closed. Wow. If I had known it was outside, I would have made it. But because I went inside the warehouse and couldnt find it, I didnt get to order. What a great welcome to California. We only stopped here cause we needed gas for our rental car. Im really peeved about the hours being wrong. And I was in line at 6, but that customer being helped went past 6pm. It was literally 6:01pm. Youd think theyd finish the line of customer, then close. I was the only customer left in line.Thanks for nothing Costco! Not very welcoming here in California.

This review is based solely on their food court. Made a kiosk order and waited over 15 min in line. Meanwhile, the regular order line was moving right along. Do better, costco!!! Employees have no sense of customer sevice.

Buy most house items and food there. Fruits and veggies are fresh. Has the best warranty on TVs. Love the $1.50 hotdog and drink and the $4.99 rotisserie chicken. Cant beat that.

Its okay but always so full and they tend to always run out of the basics . I prefer Alhambra Costco. Less people more organized less traffic

I always go to this Costco but today was extra great! Well, customers seem not to know that you drive a cart just like a car so Right side go left side opposite... aside from that, the WORKERS are so nice and friendly and today I got muffins and didnt realize it but I had to get 2 rather than just 1 for that price - so Chris, the guy asisting the girl on the counter so nicely and friendly said oh no problem, I will get it for you, what flavor would you like??!! That is what I call 5 Star customer service!! So thank you Chris!! Also, I must say thay they ALWAYS have the guys working on the carts!!! There are no lack of carts at all, and to the guys working so hard, THANK YOU!!! The carts are always so neatly put away! Love it!! I was greeted nicely and waved good bye nicely with a have a great day!! And of course you just gotta get the pizza as you exit! It is so tasty!!

This is not the closest Costco but it’s the one I prefer in this area. The Alhambra one is crazy busy and I manage to get through this one pretty quick. Parking lot gets full since this one does tend to fill up fast and is busy with the other stores around it.I’ve noticed some attitude with the food court staff but the warehouse staff are pretty friendly and are willing to help. You just have to find them. That’s Costco though.Overall I like this one. It can get super busy but it’s always pretty well stocked. When you get to know the store it’s easy to maneuver around the clogged aisles to get in and get out.

Ive come to accept that every Costco is packed and at all open hours basically, BUT what I cant stand is the many people in this location that seem to be buying to sell or buying so many of one thing for God knows what. I wish Costco would limit these people. I know the point is to sell but what about the rest of us?? What do you need the entire pallet of bananas for???? Why are you taking all the vitamins in stock!?? I want to shop too...they need to go to downtown or Costco Commerce to buy in bulk. Its frustrating.

Very nice team I was in to check out with. I always experience rude customer service at this Costco, but today, was the BEST experience of my Costco life!!!! Im a famous Psychic so I was so happy just to get great service without anyone knowing who I am. Now, a rude tall thin man I guess was a supervisor, said he was going to write up the Teddy Bear worker! What an asshat!!!! After he provided me excellent customer service and I told him, he was getting my bagels and he still had the freaking nerve to say he was going to write him up! What kind of manager is THAT? He should be fired. Thank you Roberta and Team! Driving home now from Costco.

I love this store. And if you ask for assistance they will get a employee to shop with you, which is awesome I recently suffered a injury and struggle pushing the cart and loading it in the car which they will do. It makes going less intimidating, and helps you feel like you can shop with out exhausting or over extending yourself.

I was waiting for a survey to share my experience but I never got it, so here Im writing my review.I came with a problem to the optic department. I had 1001 excuses to tell and Eric, the manager, helped me without asking a thing. I was happy, he treated me so professionally . This year Im not only going to bring my prescription but I will start seen their optometrist too. Yes the whole package. Keep up the good work!

Never go on a sunday. Its an invasion! Lots and lots of people and the parking lot is a nightmare. Great prices and so worth it for those must have household items.

It’s a great place to shop for some good deals and typically when I’m there I don’t wait long in lines. Usually crowded and difficult to find parking in. Other than that it has a great selection and items are easy to find.

They dont allow checkout unless you obey their mask mandate. An employee threaten to throw me out also.

This place has everything. Lots of variety and plenty of stock. Its ikea disneyland for adults.

Its a large warehouse where items can be bought in bulk. Membership is required, and they do offer tier-based memberships. Each tier with its respective list of cons & pros. Lines get lengthy, but the staff here is quick to get everyone out the door. Parking is adequate. Free air for your tires, if youre into that sort of thing. The rotisserie chicken here is the toppest of notches. An outdoor food court is featured at this location, great nutrition offerings are present here [membership required]. And, I gotta say, the shopping carts here are the BMWs of the shopping cart world. Rarely, do I ever receive a faulty cart. Or maybe, I meant to say they are the 98 Toyota Corollas of the shopping cart world. I dont know much about cars. The carts at this Costco are dependable is what I want to say. What was I writing about again?

I go here all the time, it’s a very busy Costco! This is partly due to whoever designed the shopping center. They put it next to some of the busiest businesses and have only one lane in and out for all the cars. The Costco itself is very nice and I still go at non-peak hours to fill gas here. Just rating 4 stars for the location because it is a pain to get to Costco even if it gets slightly busy.

Ive been shopping at Costco since they were called price club. Personally I lobe the place. They always have something you didnt know you wanted or needed. Also the booze is always a better price!

Please move the EV charging stations for electric cars!!!The EV charging stations are in front of handicapped parking. Handicapped and normal cars are parking in the EV car stalls because they are not in front of the charging stations and the stalls are not clearly marked. Frustrating.The first time I shopped here the charging station was free but now they charge.Long lines to get out of this Costco. There were about 10-15 carts behind me as well. (See photo)

This is my nearest Costco and I really enjoy coming here. Everything is neatly organized. Fresh produce and lines are decently moving along. The only thing which has nothing to do with this costco is the entrance to enter the plaza/marketplace is the long drive inside and leaving is a hassle but hey, its LA after all.

They are rude, have poor customer service, and is overcrowded. They do have great product.

The way there gas lines operated was great with the green and red gas pump displace letting you know when theres an open spot moves very quickly

Ignacio from the food court could not give me an extra ketchup container for my hotdogs and pizza he said he was only limited to one, come on an extra ketchup petty! Horrible.

The cleanest most organized Costco Ive been to. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the food court is immaculately clean and efficient.

Parking by the front is always full but if you park by the tire service its easy to get parking.

I dont have a member ship with them, I have one with sams since 1992. I just might cancel it and go here. They are so fn friendly and helpful.
