Customer service is terrible!!!! They have a 15 day return policy and I have sent numerous emails to get help...this is not right to pay for an item and receive the wrong one...I have sent photos and pics of original packaging with tag item #s...I ordered 4 items almost 3 months ago and have received 3 out of the for one at a time!!!! The 3rd item was incorrect and didnt even have the tag on the dress as if was already worn by someone else...Im so angry and disappointed in this company...the items seem to b made decently but the customer service is impossible to speak with a human...everything is thru emails which stretches out the time allowable to return or exchange their 15 day policy. I will be reporting this company if this does not get addressed properly!!!!!

I was really excited about ordering from this place…. The pictures looked good and it’s not the cheapest stuff either so I assumed the material was going to be thick and good quality! Boooooyyyy was I wrong!!! I feel like I’ve been catfished! Call Nev and MTV!!! Because this isn’t what it looked like in the picture! And to try and return it forget about it!!! You gotta pay to ship it back for whatever reason! Don’t even dare ask if you can return it back to the store! Because god forbid they make it easy to get your money back!Smh sooo disappointed in this place! Don’t even bother wasting your time or money here! TRUST ME!
First time ordering a dress for a cosplay ordered February 6 and said it was shipped shortly after. It is now March 4 and no updates have been made. There is a tracking number but no information as USPS is still waiting on the package. I contacted customer service with an order number listed in the email almost a week ago and have heard nothing.

I ordered a dress from them last week after looking for one for over two weeks. I paid expedited shipping costs to get it here in time for a party I’m attending. Something told me to call today because I did not receive a notice it shipped. When I called the number on the website it automatically dialed a whole other number which was a google number. After a few minutes I was finally told the dress was out of stock! The system let me order an out of stock dress with expedited shipping and I received no notice of this. I asked to speak with a manager but apparently there is no manager so Sharon came on the phone. She told me to call back in 4 hours so that the workers could check the huge warehouse and see if my dress was there and did not have to come from China. When I called back the number didn’t work for a while and I finally got through. She confirmed my dress was nowhere so I had to cancel my order and I’m now waiting to see my refund. I am not happy at all. Oh and from the pics online I don’t see a huge warehouse just a store.
I ordered a dress for my partner over a month ago now and it has still not been delivered. I have emailed them twice since their estimated delivery of 10 working days expired, and I have not received any response from this company, and therefore I have had no offer of refund or replacement. If you want a hassle-free experience, i suggest you DO NOT BUY FROM RETRO-STAGE!
This company and their merchandise is awesome. Their customer service is incredible! . I wish that they had a 10 rating on both as that would be what I would give them Their quick response follow through and follow up when there is a situation needing to be corrected was amazing. Ordered a dress, and received my package quickly however I opened it to find a pair of shoes?? The number on their facebook/website is disconnected, the number above links to a voicemail thats not set up and so far nobody has answered my email.Edit: I got an email less than 24 Hours after posting this and was told to keep the shoes, and that they would either honor a refund or ship out a replacement ASAP. I was told I will receive the dress by NYE, Ill update on shipping but so far I am pleased with the exchanges.
You need to know that this company will not give you back your money. They sent me 2 dresses that fit me like the Hulk in Steve Bannons clothes. Awful. The dresses smelled like chemicals. One felt like it was made of a plastic bag. I sell and ship on Paypal all the time. I packed and returned the dresses ( at my own expense) carefully. They claim I wore the dresses, and that the dresses smell! I wanted the dresses to work out! I cant shop in a store so I was really looking forward to new summer dresses. It took 3 months to get them and now this. Do NOT buy from this company. Scam.
Pretty sure this is a scam. I made an order on the Retro-Stage website ten days ago and chose expedited shipping (arrival in 6-10 days) because I have an event that I would like to wear the items that I ordered. To date, I received a shipment confirmation for only some of the items but the tracking number with the post office says the post office didn’t receive the shipment. I still haven’t received even a shipment notification for the remaining item, (a dress).I’ve emailed the company but haven’t heard back. I tried calling the number on the website but it’s inactive. The number for the store goes to voicemail but no voicemail has been set up. I’m incredibly frustrated and will be contesting the charges with my credit card company.Do yourself a favor and find a legitimate company to do business with.

Just placed my first order online and I am beyond excited to receive them. I went to the store in LA to check the quality of the dresses before I ordered online. The quality is great for the price range and the girls working in the store were SOOOOOOO sweet and helpful!!
I have ordered 4 dressesI have ordered 4 dresses (2 gatsby style dresses and 2 dresses from their 1950’s selection). I love 3 of the 4. The 4th one the only issue I had was that the sash material was different then I expected and as a personal choice didn’t care for it. The quality is nice, the delivery of the dresses came super quick. The only issue I had was that the earrings and headband come from overseas so took much longer to arrive then the dresses and barely made it time for my event. Will definitely still look to the site for other pieces.
My post office completely failed me when I originally ordered my gown, but Veronica (from their customer service phone number) completely saved the day for me. She was so professional and patient with me while I freaked out about not having my dress in time. My dress was Returned to Sender because of a delivery error, and Veronica expedited me another dress to try to get it to me by New Years Eve. Fingers crossed it gets here in time!
Highly recommend, I bought a dress from their online store. Its really in good quality. Id love to go to their local store to buy more dresses
I ordered 2 dresses on Dec 5. One arrived and the second has not shown up as of Jan 15.I have emailed customer service and they said to call the post office.USPS does not have the package as I have tracked it on the website. Very disappointed in the resolve since last week they said they would refund after looking into it. I will not be purchasing from them again and would not recommend buying from them.
I order 2 dresses and they are not at all true size. The XL is bigger than the XXL and I ordered a size up just in case but neither come close to fitting. I am trying to schedule a return and I received a weekend reply on a Friday morning!!!!
I ordered my dress online for a party, it arrived two days before the party and did not fit. I would like to return it, but I’m wondering if I can return it to the store in stead of going through the whole shipping return fiasco.

I ordered 2 swimsuits including a 1 piece. The part supposed to cover the chest came to me at the navel (Im not very tall though). I had to pay the returns fee which amounted to half of the order. I do not recommend this site at all! Completely unnecessary customer service. They say its my fault ... So I dont have a problem with other brands in this size ... Low end clothing as possible. I say goodbye to my 25 € spent to return the products ... I hope they will reimburse me for the order ... And in addition, they have a site in French but only communicates in English ...
