What a great experience. My fitter was so nice and so easy to work with. The first two bras she had me try on fit me like a glove. We talked about how the bra should fit, washing and care. I was able to wear one of my new bras out of the store and I felt great.

They did an incredible job finding the right size bra for me on the first try! super welcoming environment and they made me feel very comfortable, which is saying a lot since i had never had a bra fitting before.
I HAD A LOVELY EXPERIENCE WITH JULIANA. I DONT KNOW WHAT SHE MEASURED BUT SHE DID A FEW MINUTE VISUAL INSPECTION AND CAME BACK WITH THE BEST BRA I EVER HAD IN ONE ATTEMPT. I WENT FOR 2 AND WALKED OUT WITH 3.
This is the rudest experience I have ever had in a Montclair store. I come in on Saturday to get measured and a very irritated woman says I needed an appointment. I ask if she can measure me. She says irritatingly that she can squeeze me in between appointments. Meanwhile I start pulling styles I like. She comes out and grabs them out of my hand saying they will never fit me. I say I’m just looking at styles I like. She walks off. I put the stuff away and left. Why would I put up with that service for a $70 bra. I will never go back nor will I recommend Johari to any of my Montclair friends. It was humiliating.
I like an easy shopping experience and thats exactly what I got! Fitted and walked out with bras and undies over my lunch break. :)

I have shopped at Johari for many years and have always had a pleasant experience. However, on Saturday, 5/20/17, my experience was anything but pleasant. I walked in the store around 5:15 pm. The only other customers I noticed in the store were two young girls. I told the sales associate that I wanted to purchase two bras for my daughter, and I indicated the size. Right away, she told me that it would be better if I brought my daughter in with me, and that the store would be closing at 6:00. Her tone was cursory, dismissive even, as if she didnt want to be bothered. Her only concern seemed to be the two young girls, at whom she kept watching. When I couldnt find a particular piece of underwear, I asked her for my size. She indicated that what was there, was all she had. I left the store, feeling ignored.I must add here that I have never seen this particular sales associate before. Perhaps, she was having a bad day. Maybe she had a lot on her mind. Whatever her issue is certainly no excuse for poor customer service. Other staff have always been attentive and helpful. Quality customer service is paramount.
I have been going to Johari for a few years now. This is by far the best experience Ive ever had when trying on swimsuits or bras. The staff is incredible. Thank you so much to Sidney for your help recently with a correct fitting bra!
This place is incredible. I am greatly pleased by the service I received. Juliana is extremely knowledgeable about bras and I am so glad I chose this place. Turns out, I have been wearing the wrong bra size for some time now. After trying on the correct bra at Joharis I was instantly lifted and even my family says I look 10lbs lighter. I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends!
I’ve searched far and wide over the years for great bras, tried department stores, boutiques, VS, thirdlove, but no place—NO PLACE— compares to Johari and the wonderful service of Julianna!The first time I walked in, I expected to walk out feeling dreadful as I usually do when bra shopping, but Julianna expertly sized me, created a comfortable atmosphere, and I took home a couple of fantastic bras and new confidence. I never thought I would feel some kind of way about bras, but I can’t believe how good they feel and I am so thankful to have found this place.
Esther is absolutely amazing! This was the best experience I have ever had shopping for lingerie. I will never go anywhere else and you shouldnt either.
I didnt even GO to this store, just called to find out if they carry larger sized bras. Spoke with Deborah, who said she was the owner. I mentioned my current bra size and asked if they carried bras in that size range. She said, no, and, You will have a hard time finding that size.Last time I checked, the average size of Americans is GROWING, and Ive been wearing roughly this size bra for 20 years.I told her to NEVER give that reply to anyone again - if she doesnt carry a size it doesnt mean other lingerie shops dont, and she should ONLY say she doesnt carry them (politely) and thats all the information she should give. I also told her Id called several other shops who DO carry my size. What a -- well, I cant say the word I want to in an online review, but please know the OWNER of Johari is very judgmental towards large size women, doesnt carry large size bras, and gives judgmental and false information over the phone.
Unfortunately the treatment I received today at this boutique has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Not only was i I un welcomed, my presence was questioned, and I was stared at like a criminal. Don’t go to this boutique if you want to experience rude and disgusting treatment.
This shop has lovely things however I called recently and was treated like I was bothering the woman who answered the phone. She was rude and had an attitude.
I had a great experience! I went in for a bra fitting because I wanted to get the right bra size for the bras that i wanted to buy. I went in thinking I was a 40DD (based on a VS fitting), but I am actually a 36GG!! I felt like a new person with my new bra size!!

I went to Johari in Montclair, NJ approximately 5 or 6 years ago. I was accustomed to purchasing my bras from Intimacy in NYC. I live in NJ, and someone recommended Johari, so I went to the store. I had such a great experience, that I decided to purchase 4 bras from Montclair Johari today! I am on vacation, I did not want to go to NYC (there are other Intimacy shops in NJ now, but I am loyal to stores with excellent customer service, so instead of going to NYC, I selected Johari, Montclair, NJ.) When I walked into the door, the sales person, Juliana, did not walk from behind the counter to greet me, she just stared. There was no other customers in the store, and it wasnt closing time! I was very excited. I brought 2 bras that I purchased previously, one of them Chantelle, to give the rep an idea of what I was looking for. Juliana looked at the bra, and said, Those are old! When I went into the fitting room, I told Juliana that I was accustomed to being measured. Juliana said, I can fit you with my eyes. When I found a bra that I liked, I asked Juliana, if she had other colors? 34DD? Juliana said, Were out of stock. I asked Julianna if she would give me a call when new bras, 34 DD arrived, Juliana said, You call me!, Also, Juliana talked on and on about a bigger named store that she had worked in, in NYC! Needless to say, I come from a very high profile family, and circle of friends. I will be sure to share this experience with them!!! Intimacy, here I come. I bought the bra because I needed a bra a.s.a.p. Julianas appropriate score: -0 :(
