Very nice place, I love books though. Only thing was no one seemed to want to be a helpful person, I asked if they had a book, he said yes its over by that area by the second pilar. It wasnt there and took us a little over 20min to find, considering it was in a whole other section.

Very affordable and entertaining books to be found. There is a blind date with a book section where books wrapped in paper are described without mentioning its title by previous owners. Its a wonderful way to prevent books from being wasted and introduce people to new stories.

Been visiting this Barnes and Noble store for many years. Always a friendly, helpful staff. Very rarely do they not have what Im looking for. On those rare occasions, theyll just order it for me. Nice to have a coffee while Im there at the in-store Starbucks.

Im so happy theyre open again! Although they have a VERY small horror section and it seems like the fiction section got smaller as well. But its still nice to browse in store

I love this place. Books, journals, calendars, board games... It needs a nice sketchbook section next to the beautiful journals though. Thats all.

Everything about this store is great except the checkout line takes pretty long, but they have such a great selection of books, DVDs, and a kids section. We bought a sketch book and we also got 2 dollars off from the inside cafe/Starbucks. Located within the great Montclair plaza.

Loved it, The setup of the store was perfect and easy to get around and find what you want, The staff was just as great and were very helpful and great to talk to. Will definitely come back to this Shop again.

I miss Borders, but Barnes and Noble is good to! Good selection of toys, magazines, books, etc. But my kids are there for the toys mostly. Sometimes it is easy to forget the joy of walking through a bookstore, browsing unexpected titles, feeling the pages, when Amazon is so easy.

Next best place to the public library for books. Large selection. Sometimes its nice to read a printed book instead of a digital one.

This Barnes & Noble is a pretty big book store clean and even has a Starbucks inside of it which is a bonus with the help of one of the employee I was able to find the books Ive been looking for. All their employee where nice and helpful.

This Barnes & Noble is great and Im glad some of these locations are still around and didnt fold due to Amazon (I personally preferred Borders much more though). The Montclair location is larger than the Chino Hills one and maybe a bit larger than the Ontario one even. Ive noticed this location sometimes has a bit more magazines and certain book selections than that of the other two Ive mentioned. Its great to come in on a weekend and people-watch and see elderly friends catching up, two college-bound teens shopping for summer reads, or families heading into the mall to cool off from the horrendous SoCal heat. I personally love the large (but dead) DVD section here. You can tell once upon a yesteryear (decades really), CDs LINED the walls. Its also a place to very much realize that people still do read physical books and that print isnt dead.

Got a coin collector book and they even had cds so got me a dua lipa cd that I have been looking for cashier was friendly and nice.

They have a good selection of books and random items, the restrooms however need to be attended more often.

Came to store to buy my grandchild a specific book. First person I asked he was so helpful walked me over to the title and other chapter books I needed. Thank you jg

I really love coming here. Its always clean and theres always someone there to help when ever I need it. If you are like me and loves books and every time you come to Barnes & Noble you always end up buying more then one then its best if you get there card. It can get really expensive super fast. It makes a lot of difference when your total is over $100. I only come here when I am looking for a specific book. Mostly something I cant fine online or Costco 😊

Love it!! My daughter loves Manga and they have a nice selection of them also all the volumes as well. Alittle on the expensive side but its ok to keep your 12 yr old reading during the summer.

I love that there is still an actual book store around. They have a great toy selection as well which is nice since there are no real toy stores anymore (except shopping for toys at Target, Walmart and Amazon). They have a kids reading section which I love (since I have 2 small children). Im so happy it didnt go out of business after the covid hit and I hope it stays around. And also (I didnt go in) but they have a Cafe which is awesome too.

It was such a joy for me to enter a book store, they are becoming dinosaurs and this one is just a few of the ones left. Like most Barnes & Noble book stores, this one in Montclair Plaza is big and has a good selection of everything. The day I visited, they had very good deals on books and toys for kids. The employees were helpful and attentive, I hope they continue to stay open and in business. I know most people now do e-books and other forms of reading, but for me holding a book on my hands does the trick. If you have a chance of visiting make sure to check the classic section, I found the prices for this section to be quite affordable, but if you look around you can get a good deal. They had tables with buy one and get the other 50% off and even some marked down with very good discounts. I bought two books, one at regular price and one for half price. Not a bad deal!

Massive manga selection. It has the largest manga and comic section Ive seen so far.It has a Starbucks and leads into the mall, which is amazing as well. ~The staff is a bit unfriendly but Im antisocial, so I dont care. I just care about the manga.

They rearranged the store and I just hated it. Couldnt find anything. The Funko stash is gone. The comics are organized weird and revolve around mostly the main heroes like Spiderman and Superman.

Great Barnes and Noble, they have a pretty nice selection on books, and they sell records as well, also candles and other home items, also has a Starbucks there so thats a nice bonus. They have a nice kids section too and a place for them to read and play, take a nice break from walking around the mall

They didnt have the book or vinyl that I was looking for but nice looking store. They could use more help on the floor to assist customers.

Pretty big layout considering its attached to the mall, very clean and tidy, friendly and efficient staff and great deals on little hidden gems. My husband recently bought me a book of 10,000 household hacks for only $5, I couldnt believe some of the stuff they had in there for cleaning and removing things in your home, $5 well spent.

Went looking for a book on Slow Cookers. Found what I was looking for and bought another on BBQ. Great books

Stopped by while I was in the mall and wow, what a great, clean, comfortable and well stocked store. In this digital world its easy to forget what its like to wander the aisles finding books that catch your interest. Ones that you would actually read and like because you can browse before you buy. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Ill be back and more often now.

The last of a dying breed. I love bookstores, the ability to see a book before buying it makes all the difference for me; plus book smell is amazing. I really enjoy this location for the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They are always available and glad to help which is a major step up from the location we used to go to.

I was at their Starbucks and OMG! The only thing I wanted to get was that chocolate molten frappuccino they have for a limited time only and I kid you NOT she said and I quote Unless you have the recipe and know how to make it, I only know the basics if she doesnt know how to do her job why should I?!? YOURE BASIC!

Love this Barnes and Noble!! Everything is organized and tidy. The atmosphere is lovely, the folks seem nice, and it’s just a cool place to hang out and check out some books! Although my only complaint is that sometimes I can never find a book. They’ll have it in stock, but I just can’t find it? And also they haven’t stocked up on Servamp book 3, it’s been like 4 years lol but other than that, very good store! The cafe/Starbucks area is nice too, I’ve hung out and drawn there once or twice
