Outstanding customer service!!! Great chairs and more, but what you want is a company that stands behind their product. We have a number of their chairs and stools and they are fantastic. We had a few issues with two recently purchased exam chairs, and I can tell you that the owner reached out, worked with us, and went above and beyond to make everything right. Dan was sincere, honest and completely committed to making us happy. You can have trust in them and be sure that they will do the right thing, and not rest until your problem is solved. They have the most stylish and comfortable styling chairs in the salon industry ! My clients love the comfort. Even their facial chairs are relaxing and contribute to the experience my clients have during their facial treatments. Im planning to try out their herbal facial steamer as well. I had recently opened my own density and wanted to furnish it with the perfect equipments.I decided to go with Alva beauty to buy dental chairs and stools.The chairs are designed thoughtfully to ensure patients are comfortable and they give a modern look to my clinic. The quality of their chairs is excellent and will definitely last long.
I have 2 shampoo bowls purchased from Alva. Last year when the tilting mechanism broke on one of my bowls they were able to find and send a replacement within a week. When the same part broke this year, I contacted them so I could purchase another replacement. I was informed by Jacob in customer service that they are under new management and they do things differently. They do not sell the part, they are not willing to order the part, and my only option is to purchase a entirely new unit. Rather than contacting the manufacturer to see if they could help, they thought a better option was to accuse me of not using the bowl properly, suggest that I was trying to get the part for free, and offer zero alternatives.

I have purchased several facial chairs from this company and have no problems or complaints at all. The chairs are excellent and work as described. They are extremely comfortable and have held up well over the years. If you have any questions or problems the staff is very quick to answer and help as needed.
5/2012-Spa Mgr replaced 4 hot towel cabinets (1 per spa room)and purchased 1 oversized hot towel cabinet (spa hallway). She worked w/ Alex and communicated our requirement that the 4 cabinets must have a drop-down door (web showed swing doors)-Alex said he could source & sell us drop-down units.6/15-Rec’d 5 units. Began use on 6/30 (due to arrival of spa carts from another company).8/25-Lynne learned that unit 4 would turn itself off & the oversized unit would not stay on.9/5-Called Alva, and received approval to have our maintenance man, Paul to look at the unit w/out voiding any warranties.9/21-Room4 unit stopped working. Paul said unit is cheaply made & to send it back under warranty.9/27-Paul talked to Alex and they determined to bypass the switch on the oversized unit, and we would turn off the unit by pulling the plug from the outlet. Alex shipped parts.10/4-Room1 unit stopped working.10/5-Paul replaced parts-oversized unit came on, but did not reach correct temp-we ceased use.10/10-I called Alex-oversized unit still not working, he said, “then your technician doesn’t know what he’s doing.” I asked him to call when the unit I sent was looked at to see what to do with the other non-working units. Alex accused the staff for mishandling equipment.10/11-Room4 unit rec’d by Alva. Alex accused me of sending a random unit back & did not have any record from his vendors. I reminded him of the cabinet door drop-down requirement. Alex dismissed the warranty & said I could purchase new units or pay repair costs. Told him I wanted a refund for everything.10/12-Room3 unit stopped working.The customer service from Alex has been nothing but terrible. I have left out all the times that he interrupted me, would not let me finish any sentences, the terrible tone and best of all the accusations that he has made. I still cannot believe this is the way that he treats his customers… until I read the BBB and other online reviews. As described in the different reviews, this company routinely: faults the staff for breaking items, is rude and belligerent, refuses to honor warranties, sells junk, does not take proper steps to resolve issues, and does not stand behind their word. It is unbelievable that the poor customer service and rudeness continues to be displayed through the company’s responses to the complaints that are on the Better Business Bureau’s web site.Alex needs to face the issue at hand vs accusing misuse. I am looking to receive a full refund $1198.96 from Alva Beauty.
