TERRIBLE...TERRIBLE, I went in to get one thing fixed and ended-up with a whole other problem, not to mention there was screws and plastic cover parts missing from under the hood!!!, these (??mechanics??) will turn your nice car into an old car within a day!!! NEVER AGAIN 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
Pines Auto has been a place that my family has come to for generations. My family has a personal friendship with the past owner - the one and only Pines.Having said that we felt comfortable with trying out the new owners.My son took his car there for repair seven days ago. During that period of time the owner new Eddy promised multiple times that the car would be fixed and ready for pick up.In my sons words:We brought the car over on a Thursday morning and was told the car would be checked out by the end of the day, Friday morning latest and I would receive a call. We called back Saturday after not hearing anything, only to find that they still hadnt checked the car out. We were told they were backed up and the car would be checked out first thing Monday morning. I call back Monday afternoon, frustrated. I was asked to provide my phone number again and they again promised they would call me back by the end of the day. They did not call me back. I called again on Tuesday and was told the car was out for inspection and they were going for a test drive. I called back towards the end of the day and they tell me theyd call me right back and did not. I called again on Wednesday and spoke to the owner again, he said they had gotten backed up again and he would definitely without a doubt get to it first thing Thursday morning,I expressed frustration, my car had now been sitting in the lot for 7 days and it still had not been diagnosed. Im not talking about any repairs, they hadnt even checked the car out yet 7 days later. The owner guaranteed he would call me by 10 am and I expressed doubt because I hadnt received a single call from them yet and was only in contact because I reached out every day. I called back Thursday afternoon and was told they would call me back at 5 pm and that was it. I was fed up.Eddy is not a man of his word and the woman he owns this business with is rude and disrespectful. After patiently waiting a week to have my car looked at after years of being a faithful customer to what once was Pines - a close family member, she dismissed my inconvenience.My son will post his own broader statement on the lack of customer service separately. However - Ive never seen such poor behavior from a business before.- Lack of delivering on commitment- Lack of outreach to a customer to share - not one proactive phone call to let my son know the car was not ready.- Rude behavior by a women - sorry didnt get her name - when I called to share my concerns. She shared she is an owner then yelled at me and stated I cant talk to you now because Im with a customer. What the heck am I?New wave of lack of customer service. And do they expect to get money from me. I think not!Net net -1- We picked up the car and its not repaired and will take to another location. After waisting 7 days - btw - he is traveling this week and needed the car - so no car - We have a another mechanic that we hope will pull him out of this jam2 - Will never recommend as long as Ed and whatever her name is are owners3 - Will never go back as long as they are owners4 - And for those friends who knew Pines and you know us - will share our thoughts...Food for thought. Dont let the Pines sign fool you!PS - Two things.1. The current rating is 5 stars - by one person the new owner. Hmmmm- that says something.2. Our rating is not even a one star.
