I went to Andrew Mols on Label St. based on a recommendation from a town Facebook group. Initially my experience with him had been good, as a white presenting Latina. I used to bring my own car to him before covid19 but my husband took over after covid19 due to health concerns. Andrew told me that we need to replace the shocks and recommended that I buy the shocks online. He stated that he would just charge us for labor and gave me the price. He printed out the shocks we needed for Amazon and handed it to me. Amazing service, I was sold! Unfortunately, I lost the printout and was unable to reach him by telephone. I told my husband, who is Jamaican, to go to the garage and ask him in person. When my husband took the car to him, Andrew gave my husband a different quote, which was double the price. I thought it odd but gave the man the benefit of the doubt. This week, I needed to change the oil in my car. So, my husband took the car to Andrew on Monday in the afternoon. Andrew told him that he was too busy and couldnt do it. He suggested that we bring the car on Wednesday at 8am, it would take 20 minutes. My husband took the car to him this morning but Andrew told him that he is too busy today as well. Obviously, this man does not want our business. I wonder why….

These guys are the best! They get you in the shop at the promised appointment time and work is done in a timely manner. Pricing is reasonable and the work is impeccably accomplished!

Andrew is an honest and hard working owner who treats his customer s new or old with class. Brought my 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII and he diagnosed the suspension problem right away like no other mechanic did. Very knowledgeable no BS man. Would recommend and take my other family/ friends vehicle to his shop again. The man works even on a national holiday 4th of JULY!!!

I called this shop to ask if I can borrow jumper cables .... they actually ended up coming to the house and started my car for me . I ended up getting my battery replaced - it was done in a little over an hour and was very inexpensive . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place !!!!!!!

Amazing guy, was super helpful.We had a car that was leaking oil. We found out when we went to get the oil changed, and the STS guy says You have a major oil leak, we can fix it but it might cost ya. Andrew fixes it for 60 dollars, and in a few hours. I know I sound like a radio show ad, but this was wonderful.

The last honest mechanic. Ive been bringing my car to Andew Mols Auto Repair since 2013 and never had a bad experience.Prior to bringing my car to Andrews, I had my car towed to a different auto repair shop in Jersey City (because thats where it originally broke down). After about an hour they told me that the alternator was draining the battery and that I needed a new car battery. I decided I needed a second opinion so I opted to have my car towed again, but closer to home this time - I pay for USAA Roadside Assistance monthly so I dont have to pay for towing.Andrew inspected my vehicle for about 20 minutes and said I had a short. He inserted a new fuse and the car started up without a problem.What really blew me away was that he ONLY charged me $1 for the fuse!! Who does that?!Anyway, he earned a loyal customer for life!I would urge anyone to give him a try! You wont be disappointed, or taken advantage of.

Andrew is a true technician...formally trained in Europe on many automobile brands. His knowledge of auto repair far surpasses that of your average technician. Ive done business with him for many years. Hes the real thing.

Hes a liar and told me he replaced things when he didnt and I ended up almost crashing cause the part he said he changed he didnt and had to pay for a tow and get everything fixed again. Save your time and go to a real mechanic that shows you proof of work.
