STOP.... Before you go to this stop... The service start off great to get you in but if you need follow up service on there warranty.... here where the games begin. There full of excuses, argumentative, arrogant, and rude... I sold the vehicle because I didnt feel confident in the work and didnt want the hassle of dealing with there ppl again.... I wouldnt EVER uses there services again nor would I recommend there services.... I hope this help you and hits them in there pocket..... you need better customer service!!!!

Engine pros scam me out of 3000 dollars on a engine rebuild 5k miles after the engine started knocking again now I can’t apply my warranty for repairs because there protecting themselves under the corona virus pandemic smh should have paid attention to the reviews. If any customers would like to contact me message me open up a civil lawsuit against the engine pros.

This company charged my mother a surcharge of $30 to use her debit card for payment. I tried to call the business to discuss this with them as it is currently illegal in the state of California to charge a surcharge for debit cards. Instead of having a cordial conversation with me, the gentleman (I use that loosely) hung up on me. Just because you disclose you are charging a surcharge doesnt necessarily make it legal. Surcharges can be charged to credit cards only in the state of California. Definitely avoid this shop. All they will do is nickel and dime you for things you dont need. Probably the only way they can stay in business is by cheating there customers.

Would love to give you NO Stars! Stay Away! Worst place ever! I should have bought a brand new engine! Took my car back 3 times because they didnt put the engine back together right, friend my electrical wires because they were put on wrong! Engine has been leaking oil since it was there. Gave me an 8 year warranty, I dont have to wonder why...they cannot get it right! Waste your money somewhere else! They argue the warranty that they give you! May be a different owner... but the same crappy workmanship and will not fix your car right !

DO NOT BUY CYLINDER HEADS FROM MACHINE SHOP PROS. I probably should have read the reviews before purchasing but I was in a rush to get heads and live in CA as well. Website looks good and legit but the company and quality is at the bottom. Will never use this company again. First set ordered was completely filled with media blast from the cleaning they do. Oil filter screens plugged with sand and cam journals. Complained about this and had to return the set. Received the second set of heads and they worse. Full of media blast once again. Hard to believe a machine shop would clean heads with media blast and not have the quality control to make sure they were completely clean. Theres a reason why this company has such horrible BBB rating and bad reviews. I never leave reviews but after receiving two sets of heads over weeks of lost time words do not describe how disappointed I am with this company.

People if you are upset with machine shop pros you need to remove your rating from here because this is the engine pros and machine shop Inc which is a different company thats honest and will not screw you and dose not ship heads. I found them through a flyer that offered engine rebuilt service for my van. The price was $1799 with free towing. The towing service made it convinient since our van was not running. I called to have it towed. I asked if there would be any additional cost to the repair and i was told that most likely i would need to change the water pump to prepare to add about $300 dollars in additional cost. About a week later i got my quote from them total $5500. When i told them that i couldnt afford that amount they said that ifwe didnt do the work with them we would have to pay $270 for towing and $550 for taking it apart. Plus i would have to remove the van from their property or otherwise pay $59 dollars per day for storage. At that time i told them that i would come down and pay for the balance and requested them to help me put it uot in a parking space for a couple days while i could arrage to pick it up. They said sure. When we hot there they said that they would put it outside but if we didnt pick it up within 24hrs they would have it towed. We ended making a deal with them for $4700 dollars to have it fix. 5 days later we got a call from them to come pick ip the van because it was ready. We assume that the van was running. When we got there they said its done but it wont change gears. So we need it to have towed. I was extremelly mad because they didnt mention anything at the time they called us to let us know it was ready. The guy them proceded to remove some parts by the steering wheel and said that we didnt have to call to have towed and showed me how to change gears manually. Needless to say that i was very disappointed on how they conducted their business alot of surpises not upfront. I felt like they were putting me in a position that made me do the work with them. Very dishonest. I would not recomend any one to this shop. They may have profited from me this time but for sure therewont be a next time. If you choose to do work with them make sure you get everything in Writting and upfront.

Starting Having the mechanic Rudy here work on my cars cuz he was my ex husbands friend and Rudys a really good mechanic, u can trust ull get ur cars fixed right, and his prices were always very fair....So if u have car trouble Go see Rudy hell fix it.....

Took my truck in and got it back 2 days later, price was good and everything is running great now.

Horrible customer service they wernt even willing to match another machine shop price which was only $15 less and told me to pick up my heads I was a returning customer and will never go back stay away from them they dont want to work with the price at all and waste time

I own a auto shop in CO I used machine shop pros.. there head had a bad valve job, I also bought a head gasket set, it was incorrect, after 6 phone calls trying to get my money back. There cashier was always out to lunch and they would call me back.... I just called my credit card company and claimed fraud.. I would stay away.

Do not buy from this place, I bought Mazda Miata head, we installed it in my car and on the first start up exhaust cams making noise. They sent me faulty head, thats makes it head gasket and labor work down the drain. To make things even worse they refused to send me a replacement so now Im 400$ in a hole for a head and 400$ in labor cost / see for yourself if its worth doing any business with company like this, I was super disappointed that they sent a faulty head at first place but when they refused to even exchange the faulty product it went over the board to even call it a bad customer service. Please look for a better place to buy your parts, there is no reason why this company should stay in business. Thank you

I ordered a set of 062/906 casting number cylinder heads (8 September) I found for sale by them on Ebay. Long story short they didnt ship them even after three weeks of constantly calling and always talking to the same guy named Clarence. Doesnt matter what button you push when calling, he answers. So September 22 after three weeks and around 20 phone calls I finally said enough is enough and cancelled my order.Fast forward a few days and around 6-7 phone calls I finally got a good email to send my cancel notice, and a reply confirmation. Three weeks later and 20 phone calls later I still was being told their Refund Manager has never came in.I claimed fraud with my bank to get my money back and strongly suggest you do too if in the same boat. Seemed to me they were just stalling until after 60days when you cant get your money back.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!its not worth your time.Paul B.

Place is kinda hidden. They got my 1500 working great again, only thing I didnt like was no free estimate but they deducted the cost of the estimate from the service so I guess it is free as long as you get the work done there.

Somewhat of a communication breakdown between here and there. The young front office guy was alone and seemingly flustered with all of my questions about pricing for parts & labor. After quoting one price for work to be done on my motor, I brought the motor to them on a pallet and they took one look at it and said Oh that one will be estra. REALLY? I pulled the freakin motor from the car so it would be EASIER to work on!! And thats going to cost ESTRA?! So I decide to just let them re-quote the work to be done. It took the front office guy a week to get the new quote for me, granted I did ask for another separate quote for additional work to be done. Regardless, the new quote for the initial work that I came in for was DOUBLE the original price quoted. NO THANK YOU. I got my block out of that junk heap of a place. They seemed busy enough without my business. They definitively dont have room for new customers with all the cars/parts/junk/trash that they have stacked up in the back. They also claim to be a machine shop but told me they would have to send my heads out to have them ported. Send them where? TO A REAL MACHINE SHOP?!?JUST SPECULATING thats probably how theyre making their money, charging ridiculous prices for used junkyard parts that they have sitting around. I mean other than price gouging for labor. It is in your best interest to go somewhere else.

I took my Ford f150 in for a engine repair the employees took their time and made sure I understood everything they got me back on the road quick and the budget was reasonable

I spent more than double what the rebuilt cylinder head they sold me cost to get it fixed. I couldnt get a refund or my core returned! Terrible business!

My car wasnt starting like normal. Sometimes it would but others I just heard the starting noise. They told me I needed to replace a fuel pump. Did it, got my car back next day and problem solved.

Wasnt sure about this place based on other reviews but then see responses and realized many reviews arent even for this business. Tried them out and glad I did. My cars running good again. Their price was on par with other places I got estimates from.
