Sadly, for me at least, after not having any accidents for over 30 years, I had two within 3 months with relatively significant damage on a brand new car.Not only does my car look like it just rolled off the showroom floor, the customer service was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so nice, communication was spot on. Most importantly, they dealt directly with my insurance company and everything was seamless to me.I hope I do not need to go back any time soon🙂. However, if I do, Clairmont Auto Body is the first, an only, place I would call. I highly recommend this business.

I am a repeat customer after 15+years of needing an auto body repair, this time due to hitting a deer. I am most happy that Travelers Insurance allowed us to choose the body shop. Michael did a spectacular work on restoring our car to perfect look and drive. He even went the extra mile on cleaning the headlights, even though they were not affected by the accident. His daughter, Jody, gave the most delightful and diligent service in paperwork and follow up with the auto insurance people. The entire repair experience is painless. Glad I used them. Brought my SUV here and other places for an estimate and ended up going with them. They were friendly, reasonably priced and over communicated the schedule of steps needed for a quick turn around. Good quality work. I would recommend them to friends.

Not even sure where to start...got referred to this place by BMW dealership to replace the driver side door that was completely damaged by trailer while I was parked. Instead of ordering a new unit to replace it with the body shop appears to have finagled a salvaged piece (while charging full price) and took over a month to do the work during which time we had to cover the rental expenses. More fun bits:- body shop called to say the work was done and car was ready to pick up - my Dad had to take a hour and a half train ride to get it only to find out they were still waiting on another part to finish the job...having to take a $50 Uber ride home after...- the new door has a worn down handle that is still leaving black residue on my hands, has obvious wheezing air leakage, and malfunctions electronically...TERRIBLE, dishonest service and product.

I am so happy that I went With Clairmont. Not only are they right behind where I live but they were very nice you can tell they take good pride in the work they do. My car was in terrible shape after being involved in an accident and I got it back looking brand-spanking new! There were a couple of hiccups outside of their control from me getting the car back sooner but I’m overall satisfied with the top-notch repairs. Highly recommend!!!

Mike and the other workers at Clairmont Auto body were kind, professional, and personable. Mike takes pride in the work that he does and it was completely evident when I received my car. I was so happy with the work and the service he provided. I would recxomend Clairmont to EVERYONE.

Clairmont Autobody is definitely the best place to take your car specially if you have a car with a lot of sensors, which is mostly all new cars now, they left my car leaving brand new again after I hit a deer on the highway. Very satisfied with the work. Thank you Clairmont Auto body.

Mike’s knowledge is beyond years of experience and Jody Organizational Skills are more than perfect. They gave me a play by play on everything that was going on and went above and beyond to rectify my situation with my suv. I would recommend them 10/10. I love this body shop, my dad has gone to them for years with everyone’s cars and loves everyone there. So when my little Nissan Sentra was hit from behind and pushed into the car in front of me, I didn’t think of anyone else but Clairmont Auto Body! They fixed it up and made it look brand new! They made sure to speak with the insurance of the other person who hit me to make sure that all of the replacement parts were good quality too! They made sure to get my car detailed for me so that I felt comfortable getting back on the road and repairs were done really quick too! Highly recommend!

The place was great. I was sent there by BMW of Bloomfield after being rear-ended while stopped at a traffic light. I have a 2019 X3, which you can imagine has a lot of technology in it. I knew this was going to be a big job for them because the damage was extensive and I was going through the other drivers insurance company. They handled everything smoothly. They kept me updated every step of the way, and the car came out looking as good as new. On top of that Michael and Jodi treat you like family. Not your typical rough around the edges nasty auto body shop in the belly of the beast Essex County NJ.

I fishtailed my old but beloved Infiniti into a curb during snow. I thought I had only destroyed a hubcap, but I had smashed the area around the tire, too. I took it in to Michael and he explained all that needed to be done - a lot, plus a realignment at Firestone. It was Wed. I needed the car for the weekend.Michael and his team got to work ordering parts and rebuilding the wheel area immediately. They got everything done by the weekend by his personally taking the car to Firestone and back for me. Terrific service and kind people! Hurrah!

I had tried calling around a few places in town needing body work on my imported Toyota van after a collision. The first 2 places I called wouldnt even look at it, as HiAce wasnt in their database. I called Claremont, who told me to come on down without missing a beat. I went in on a Monday, had the estimate done, they handled all the work with my insurance company, and I had my van back by Friday, 3 days ahead of schedule. The work they do here is fantastic. I plan on getting more work done in the future so the rest of my 25 year old Toyota looks as good as the front end that they repaired. Truly looks better than stock. I highly recommend especially if youve got an uncommon import that other places wont even touch! Thanks x1000 to everybody there.

Rarely these days are there such people who take pride in their work and no shortcuts. The owner himself fusses over every small detail and one cant help thinking that get a car smashed up isnt so bad after all! The best body shop ever. I will hike all the way from PA again if I have to just to get my car fixed here. Thank you Clairmont!
