At first it was great. I ordered several items, no problem. One item I ordered was over my limit and I had to pay off my balance. No problem, I did so. I sad and waited for them to release my order. Nothing! So I e-mailed them asking why. They immediately closed my inquiry case and e-mailed back that my case is resolved, call them to get the answer. What?! The case is not resolved, my order is not released, my account states that it is current! I e-mailed them back asking why wont they tell me via e-mail? Nope, nothing! I dont want to be put on hold, I dont have time to put my ear to a phone. If they can close my case within a matter of minutes, than they can e-mail me the answer in a matter of minutes.

I had a hard credit pull from Ginnys Inc. Never hearing of this company before, I call them up and question it. Of course they could find NO TRACE of such.. but told me its perfectly legal for them to HARD HIT peoples credit in a way of searching for new customers to send catalogs to.. I feel like if you want customers, pinging their credit and dropping their score IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT. Be forewarned for this company is up to no good.

Got an email saying that my credit request has been approved. Had never heard of this place before that. Tried calling their customer service line twice this morning (Monday) at 8:45 and 9:30 only to get a recording to call back during their normal business hours of 8am - 8pm Mon - Fri. Wrote an email to their customer service dept, only to be told that I had to call to get credit information. Seems their business model is designed to help people commit fraud. Good job Ginnys, seems you deserve all the awful reviews youve gotten.**Update: Tried to call again today, Monday, at 11:15am central time, still closed. The recording insists they are open 8am - 8pm Central, M-F. Top notch**

Like most everyone else on here, I received a bill stating I owed $447.97 for an order that I did not place. It was for a laptop. Delivered to Miami Florida. I dont even live anywhere close to Miami Florida. When I called into the customer service number I was told by the woman that she would transfer me over to fraud and that they were excellent. I initially felt like this was an odd call because I could hear children playing in the background. When I was transferred another woman answered the phone and as soon as I started telling her everything that was wrong a loud beep came over the phone line and I could not hear her anymore nor could she hear me. Is this company for real? This is absolutely fraud! Read the reviews online. Calling BBB!

I decided to do all my Christmas shopping at Ginnys. I sat down on a Sunday evening working off a gift list for my daughter, my wife, and my son and mother-in-law. I ordered several products from this company. They actually shipped one order and suspended my credit line for the other orders without having the minimal curtesy of notifying me.When I called the company on December 6 to find out what the issue was, I was told I cannot use my account for two weeks because of suspicious activity. The fact that I placed more than one order was suspicious. Even though I am on the phone verifying all my information I was told to re-order in 2 weeks and pay expedited shipping if i wanted to get the gifts by Christmas.This is ludicrous. I get a credit line increase to $1400.00 I am told I can use that credit line to order from the catalog but because I placed more than one order they will not ship.They now have one less customer but that doesnt seem to bother them. Doesnt bother me either. I am no longer interested in their credit or merchandise. Already reordered elsewhere.

Was given a credit limit of $400 paying $20 a month. Since I never used this company before I thought I would try with one item up to $100. I placed the order but after 2 weeks still did not receive item I called CS and was informed I needed to pay half the bill first before they released the item. It would have been nice if they told me that prior. My item is still sitting waiting for release. This company is unprofessional shady and has poor customer service skills!

Do yourself a favor and find another Company to do business with. This Company and its subsidiaries DO NOT help your credit in any way, unless it is to report BAD credit. Your credit score gets lowered when it is checked, however, your good credit means nothing unless you specifically call or write them for a credit reference. They DO NOT report a good credit history. The people that work for this Company have shown NO CARE OR CONCERN if they lose a customer. It was like pulling teeth from a mad lion to get my first credit to begin with. Once I paid off the account early, I found out that I STILL do not have credit with them. MAYBE the item I order will be automatically shipped, BUT, then again, it too may be subject to ANOTHER credit approval.ANOTHER big business in it for JUST the money... customer loyality means nothing.I closed my account, and they didnt care, they just closed it. So very sad

With Christmas around the corner I thought I would give them another try. After reading the reviews I will not. Most of these same situations happened to me. Thanks so much for giving me a voice. No I will not shop at Ginnys. My last problem with Ginnys was I had paid off my account and they kept saying I had not. Not true, this company needs a new accounting department. Again thanks!

Closed my account with them and their affiliates after buying from them for years. Thank god for technology and credit alerts. Every time I placed an order online or mailed in an order they ran my credit. When I called the customer service this chick tried to tell me they don’t and told her I’m looking at my email and that I get alerts every time it’s ran. Closed all seventh ave, country door, Montgomery wards etc.

Ordered a somewhat expinsive scale. It has mwver worked the way it was said to work. Batteries died fast and can not find replacements. Not happy with this product at all.

Company with bad practices. Illegal use of credit pulls, scamming. RED FLAG. Their Facebook page alone is a RED FLAG. Steer clear of this company unless youre looking to trash your credit.

I dont even want to give them one star! I did my first payment they claim they never got it even tho it showed on my bank statement so I just returned my item. They still keep calling for money and I dont have the product nore did i use it now my credit score went down because of them.

I placed my first order for 2 items. Received them and payed off half of my balance. Decided to order something else no problem. Had to cancel item wrong size received credit so I ordered the right size and sd wouldnt be shipped for 3 months so canceled that item received credit for that. Each order was 172.00 a piece. Ordered a cute red dishdrain (missing a piece) but I kept it anyway. Paid that. Went to place another order sd I had to put money down and declined my order. Order was for 154.00 so placed another order for 73.00 and declined it again saying I had to put money down. Then I see where they had ran my credit twice back to back. I call and they tell me I have to make a down payment bc I have no credit line with them. But you have let me make 4 purchases. The lady sd they let people do that and then they charge them a downpayment. I had a credit limit with my very first order. So WTH. And I only owe 40.00. Will pay that off and wont ever use you guys again.

Im trying to call the company for payment questionnaire. Many times, no matter what you do you cant not get through their customer services, unless you have to place an order!!!Its that something!What kind of company is this!..NEVER AGAIN useless and very disappointed that I got there staff.

Tried to order using their credit account. Email a couple days later said my order was not shipped and a letter explaining why was mailed on 12/29. Its been a month, and I never received a letter. I canceled my order and went to Finger hut to order.
