The pharmacists here are so friendly! They answer all my questions and are always willing to go the extra mile in helping me with my prescriptions or medical supplies. I needed help with my daughters breathing machine, and it was close to closing and the associates for medical supplies were already gone for the day; one of the pharmacists helped me. They dont act bothered or rushed, they are just all around nice people and Im so happy Ive switched to this pharmacy. Plus, their drive thru is a big plus!

Frequent wait times of over 2 hours which should tell the owners they need more help. With that kind of volume they can afford it. Some staff is rude at times, and others are fantastic

I would go somewhere else for your medical equipment. Bad customer service and bad communication. I waited over 5 hours for my 2 year old son nebulizer.

Dont use this place if you need colostomy supplies. Ive been jacked around each month since August. Products never come on time. Im on a group of people with colostomy & this pandemic has not interfered with the supplies. Thats the excuse each time. Ill be looking around for something new in Monroe. My insurance covers everything & Im ordering supplies on Amazon & paying out of pocket while the staff just say its been ordered. The elderly lady on the side that handles supplies is by far the rudest person Ive ever dealt with. A smile goes along way & she never does that. Comes off as a miserable person. Its 2021 & she cant find the date that my supplies were ordered. Hog wash!

I changed my previous 5-star review to a 2-star. I had nothing but problems ordering my diabetic shoes. I dealt with Cindy. Something was always missing paperwork wise and blamed my doctors office, and I had already been speaking to my doctor, and the lady is handling the paperwork there so then she blamed in on Hometown pharmacys fax and phone lines. I would suggest if your in this kind of business you might want to get those issues fixed. Hometown would never call me about delays, and I would have to call them, and of course, she said: Oh I had your file on my desk to call you While it was closing time. She then said I called your doctors office twice to get the prescription and they never called back. Then She finds the prescription while Im on the phone with her dated like three weeks ago. Funny that was when I last stopped in there to get fitted, and she said she needed just to call and get the script and she could order them. Guess she received it and didnt know about it or did nothing with it. I was just called today to verify that my diabetic shoes had been ordered. Guess not. Was considering ordering my medical lift chair there but think I will just order it online after all this.On a side note, the have a lot of neat local Michigan stuff in the store. I was impressed. Two additional gripes were I bought something at another medical supply store and paid $2.00 for the item and here it was $5.19 I told them that they are pricey for one of these. The other item I stopped in to see if the sold large emesis basins and they dont. What medical supply store doesnt carry a larger vomit tub as they give you at a hospital thats a large emesis basin technical name.After dealing with Chris the Manager and ordering my Golden Lift chair the price and his customer service was great so I am raising them up to a 3 star review. If I was just rating the chair it would be a 5 star rating but since I had the other previous issues to take into account I can only raise it to 3 stars. My chair is outstanding. They delivered it the day they received it.

Love this place. The pharmacist Lucas is extremely helpful and nice. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a place that truly cares about you as a patient! The gift shop is nice too.

I had a wonderful experience at Hometown Pharmacy . I have been trying to get a prescription filled from my neurologist for 3 months. It took 3 appointments, but no one could fill it. Then the Pharmacist got on it and just called me to say it us ready. Can you imagine a prescription ready on Friday, a 3 day weekend, the last weekend of the summer. God is great. Hometown Pharmacy is there to help one person at a time when I really had just given up on this. Thank you so much.

The staff at the S. Dixie location are so friendly and make you feel like family. You walk in and they know you by name. The store is so warm and inviting and I love checking out all the unique items they carry.

In the Medical Equipment services, 2 Associates who work there are the least professional associates we have ever dealt with. 3 prescriptions have been lost, misplaced it completely disappeared! They have called the physicians and given the wrong patient information causing the doctors office to call us and tell us they will not phone scripts to this pharmacy anymore. Do NOT recommend this pharmacy in any way shape or form!

Friendly staff but there has been multiple times where I have not received the right amount of pills. I kept running out before it was time for my next refill so I started counting my pills in the parking lot and have been up to 4 days short so I recommended counting your medication

Feeling very let down..I am writing this with a heavy heart. This was one of my favorite pharmacys and have had no problems in the past but this time it was different. I went in with a script from my doctor and what i needed had to be ordered but was told they had the same thing in the store (pharmacy). The SAME THING. NOT SO MUCH! I trusted what i was told after MANY times asking if it was for sure the same thing and went a head with getting what they had. I will never trust what some one says and make that mistake again. I found out the hard way that what i got and what i was supose to get were Much different!! The day of my procedure the doctor had to fight to put these things on me and GLUE them on!! They left me in so much pain and in tears I ended up having to buy what i need that day out of pocket..which should have been covered had they been ordered in the first place, also now for these painful things im being charge double $172.71 to be exact for something i couldnt even wear and they wont take back, instead of the $80 I paid out of pocket to get the correct ones. I have never had such a problem and feel very let down. Needless to say I dont think I will go out of my way to go here any longer you have lost a customer. Im on disability and now have to pay all this money on something totally useless and should have never happened. Lesson learned.

Very rude. Went to get a nebulizer for my son, and the lady that deals with medical equipment purchasing is very rude, and speaks to you in a fairly degrading manner. Always seems to be a problem with them retrieving insurance information even after I provide my insurance card. Would not recommend. Very poor customer service.

Best pharmacy in monroe

My wife had surgery and I had to go there for supplies and prescriptions. I had to spend a lot of time trying to get prescription supplies, and left without them. Overall I was not pleased with them.

They have medical appliances as well like breathing machines breat pumps etc.
